Well for the stab housing you’ll use krytox. And for the metal bars im using super lube because you need quite a lot there

You can be pretty generous with it. But only use it for the metal bars.

I know 3203 is usually used for tactiles so that's why im a lil hesitant

205 is not necessarily always better, you might like 3203 on linears because it can preserve some of the character in a switch instead of making them all feel the same old smoothness

You can place the lips outside of the weight, it's just to give the o-ring something to rest on top of if the friction fit isn't tight enough and the PCB starts to drop a little.

I just use some silicon pads in the corners to achieve the same affect

You want stiffer after market plates because they flex less and flex will cause actuation issues. Wooting gets around this by using standoffs to attach the plate to the PCB in numerous spots to prevent flex.

Has anyone been able to properly address the major side to side wobble on the lekker switches yet? I come back every few months to ask. I'm confused about why wooting hasn't added a films product to their page still. To my knowledge none of the films out there work well for these switches. Video of issue: #💬│general message

Its possible your switch opener damaged the housings, or they have been opened so many times that the housing no longer fit as tight. Its also possible you just received a bad batch of switches, but based on feedback, loose stock housings is something less than 1% of people report.

You could also buy a new set of switches, either from Wooting or another vendor like Gateron and see if you have a similar experience.

Switch pads should be done at your own risk. Thinner is better for sure as thick/soft pads can create a false bottom out and have unintended actuation issues.

You can use the Alumaze case with other PCBs. Just like a Tofu. But even better - We're starting pre-orders on a "barebones" version of the 60HE with just the PCB and Switch plate later this month.

Then you can pick which switches you want to add yourself, an Alumaze case and whatever else you feel like.

No the Wootility only works with our PCBs 🙂
