Thats a personal preference. While the 45 require less force, some people (like me) prefer heavier force because if its too light I will mistype quite a bit more often and that's a bigger concern for me.

Im scared to go light ive had mx speed switches before and i made mistakes 24/7 was a not a nice experience while typing because it was so sensitive, idk if L45 are comparable to the mx speed switches or is they are more like mx silent reds

The switches arent dampened at all so they would be louder. Not any louder than a normal mx red, but louder than silent switch versions.

Did the typing angle feel a bit too steep when going to the tofu redux? From my understanding the tofu redux has a 7° typing angle while the wooting has closer to a 5° or so

You need to be using a PH1 sized screwdriver. Using anything else is a great way to break a screw.

As Cals mentioned, you may be able to apply the rubber band trick (Youtube has lots of videos), and failing that you'll have to risk breaking the case by pulling the PCBA off the screw.

Driver has a bit on it's end If it's 4-point star and it's pointy then it's PH, if it's 8 and pointy - PZ, if it's 6-point star with flat head it's Torx, if it's 6-point star with a nub in the middle it's Torx security

And it looks like you've used either PH2 (so bigger one) or PZ

At this point I'd try to grab it carefully with pliers by it's head as to not break plastic, unscrew it and replace with new one

No no no. The SWITCHES are lubed.

The keycaps are just pieces of plastic with letters on top.

It's the insides of the switch that is lubed, and moves around. The keycap just sits on the + stem on top. So it doesn't require lubing separately.

if you want to avoid the annoyance of the switch tape mod its best to have a pacing so it doesnt take a more hours than the lubing proccess itself

if you're using masking tape its best to lube it as its scratchy
Recommend using medical tape as it has a porous soft material and its a lot thinner so you dont need to lube it
and since it's thin i recommend applying 2 layers on each side for it to absorb the plastic to plastic sound as 1 layer is too thin

The poron sticker is suppose to reduce/absorb the reverberation of the switch noise (This mostly counts for the plate but the sticker is like the helper yk)
The switch tape mod on the other hand is a specific mod for the Lekker switches
like in the explanation thing i wrote, its purpose is to remove the chatter noise (Caused by the springs and the contact of the stem hitting the top housing) it dampens the sound of the switch and technically solidify the sound.
These 2 things/mods does not make any changes towards the clack or thocky side, it's just to help the sound profile. Again the only way you want to achieve a specific sound signature is through different mods and trial and error, one mod does not instantly make a board clacky or thocky.

Other mods needs to support each other to achieve a certain sound profile. Keep in mind

well first it depends on how many keys you wanna scan of what sensor is "ideal"

with smth like <8 I2C already works well enough and is simple enough to implement

going above that usually you can just go full on analog sensors with the need for multiplexers going above like 16 keys

what we usually recommend is some more jelly bean components you can easily get as a consumer

How do I lubricant a wooting keyboard I’m new to m&k kinda I had a razer 60% but bought a wooting 60% absolutely love it I bought the lubricant with my keyboard.

All lekkers come factory lubed. And they recently (in last 6 months I think) re-worked their factory lube process so it’s improved.

But yes, hand lube would be superior

I would just stick with Krytox GPL 205 G0 for switches. It is important that you don't over lube and other lubricants can be a bit to sticky which the Krytox 205 G0 is not.

Can you lube with other lubricants? Sure. But it will not make your keeb feel as good and potentially make it worse.

For the stabilizers on the otherhand, i use 205 G0 for the housings, but i use Super Lube for the metal bars because it doesn't matter and you will need quite a bit to dampen the rattle of the metal against the plastics. And Super Lube is perfect for that. It's just more thick than 205 G0 so perfect to dampen the noise.
