Tofu posted a PDF that describes their quality control and objectively measures the severity of errors or blemishes in finishes in order to determine whether or not it is considered defective and subject to a warranty based replacement

I don't recall exactly where they posted that, but with some digging you can find out what their standards of qualtiy are

This would be objective and not subjective. There are numerous reports of bad finishes, warped cases, significant anodization marks, and other QC issues that just don't happen with the other mentioned cases. To be fair though, we havent received the Alumaze60 cases yet, so that part is speculation but based on Wooting's customer service/response, attention to detail and not being afraid to delay to make sure it's right is evident that QC is important to Wooting. Additionally KBDfans listed their QC standards and they are lower than other companies. That being said, as an owner of numerous KBDfans products (including the cases), they are a great value for what you get.

What i was trying to ask was, is there a lower profile switch that exists, that i'd be able to frankenstain the top half of its housing onto the onto a lekker switch? I know it'd mess with the calibration and reduce travel but i'm fine with that. Heck some of that's good imo.

Reason this seems potentially reasonable to me is 'cause you CAN swap housing with other similarly shaped switches. I just don't know if lekker switches are specially shaped aside from where they connect to the pcb.

I wouldn't bother personally as they're both made by Gateron, unless the lighter actuation on the KS is significant enough. Apparently the orange top of the KS can affect the RGB's brightness
