ok burger mount essentially isolates/reducing the sound
this is most effective with alu cases so it might be the reason why you cant really hear a difference in the wooting burger mount video
theres still a difference, its there but probably not as much as aluminum cases
this also does a better job than tape mod on the wooting since it uses steel plate

if you have the right pacing then its going go by quick

but its prob just me since i did it 3 times

if you do 2 layers

cut the piece you cut out of the tape in half
stick the 2 pieces together and put it to the side

do as many as possible

then open the switches and apply them

if you do one by one i think it will take longer

i hope the results will be worth it for you

was thinking about getting new switches but it seems there's a slight difference with the design of the bottom housing pole in newer switches thats causing some resistance when pressing the switch down at an angle

Akko tends to deliver good bang for your buck. And hall effect switches aren't exactly new so they have plenty to base it off of

Hall effect switches are tried and true, so it'd be pretty hard to fuck up by this point

#1. They feel thinner / cheaper in quality, probably from not being double shot.
#2. While they are not shine through, but there is still some shine through on them due to the thinner plastic, and it just looks bad.
#3. I thought DSA keycaps were shorter than Cherry, but they are actually taller in most of the keys besides the number row.
#4. So far it feels very strange to type on them, but I haven't tried to type much yet.
#5. Some of the stems fit really tightly, others were loose. Probably just cheaper made keycaps in general.
