1 - are the keycaps on the 60he (abs iso UK) OEM style/height or whatever it's called.

2 - If I buy random OEM style keycaps, will they fit in with the stock key caps (I assume not as the edges etc can be different)

3 - I'm looking for some yellow and black keycaps, mainly black with yellow accents (I need iso so can't use the cool wooting ones) does anyone know a nice keycaps set with maybe yellow modifyer keys/a set of modifier keys which go with the stock abs keycaps. Preferably they yellow will match with the strap/be simmilar

you will have to make a custom plate for that, im also going to swap my wooting into the sageo60 (which should arrive soon)

also the sageo plate also only supports a 7U spacbar and screw in stabs afaik. Monstagear provides the plate file for the sageo tho, you could create a compatible plate witout to much cad knowlage/hussle. Im currently working on my iso plate. converting it to Ansi shouldnt be to hard after that

glass skates are super smooth, but if ur not willing to fully clean ur mouse pad every 3 months or so (a proper wash) they will feel inconsistant

grime on pads with glass mouse skates is much worse than PTFE skates

But u should be cleaning ur mouse pad more regularly than that anyways 😄

did you just swap from oem? It can take a week or so to get used to the different profile heights, then you honestly shouldn't notice much or any difference there

pcbway offers cnc services, but you'll pay like 500$ for a one-off case (basically everywhere, or you look locally). there isnt really a point in changing to a 3d printed case, plastic -> plastic isnt worth it. For materials, either Stainless steel, aluminium or brass. Dont forget you have to desige the case aswell (also a custom plate if necessary)

I have the Cerakeys, but I would advise not putting them on the switches unless you plan to put them on once and never take them off. Since the keycaps are ceramic and coarse, they will wear down the stems quickly if you switch them out often

I was kinda spooked the nano tape adhesive would be too strong and maybe rip out a component if I ever took it off

I have a Poseidon PSD60 Defender with the Wooting 60 in it. Anyone achieved a very thockie sound profile? If yes, which mod y'all applied onto your keyboard? I'm also a bit unhappy about the "slight metallic sound" of the case. (I know, it's an aluminium case but I watched some videos who hat eeally thocky sounding keys with the same case XD)

I only use the foam which was provided by Wooting and "half lubed" it. I didn't lube the cylinder of the switch because I was afraid to overlube it ~

For the most part the switches determine the sound

These don’t technically have a bottom out which makes them sound worse

My only advice is burger mount and lube the bottom housing

Plus the rest of the switch

Then experiment with everything else

Depends on how bad it is. If it's just a bit of a spill (I eat noodles at my desk, sue me 😄 ), then I'll use my lubrication tool to "pick" it loose and a q-tip or two to clean off any liquid.

If it's bad, I'll pop off all of the keycaps, soak them in a bowl of lukewarm, slightly soapy water for an hour, then rinse and leave them to dry somewhere warm (no direct sun) until dry and then rub any bits left by hand before putting them back on.

TLDR; Alu case as a standalone product, 60HE Module - a 60HE with no case, switches or keycaps. Has a PC switch plate instead of steel, which features screw in stabs instead of plate mount.
