I used switch pads similar to these, they were 0.15mm thick, idk how thick these are tho. Imma take a look rq.

i assume they wouldnt get in the way of wooting and its switch reaction time, just more if it helps with thocky sound

They might.

Since they are squishy, it may actively change the physical position of the switch itself as you use it, which will mess with the analogue input.

Also it doesn’t make it thockier per se, but just dampens the sound.

If you wanna do that, you’re gonna have to go for a slightly extreme mod, it’s extremely difficult to get these switches to thock with traditional modding methods.

I’ve seen people put tape (I put tape on my top housings) and even silicone on their switches to dampen the sound.

@tall harness @stray tiger I tried the putty. It’s not night and day but I do think it helps. I was gonna upload a video but I can only tell the difference irl. They sound pretty much the same when recording with my iPhone. It definitely makes the space bar feel much better though.

Hello guys, any idea on where to buy good keycaps in europe ? (for 60he)

switch pads didn't work for me. I applied switch pads and it caused problems with my RT. Sometimes erroneous input (such as pressing 'Z' once but it outputs 'ZZZZZZ'.
I ve since removed all switch pads and my 60HE works fine now.

more over because 60he uses steel plate and the plate clamped with the PCB fairly tightly, I didn't hear any sound difference with/without switch pads. So try that with caution...I recommend not to apply switch pads.

The "best" off the shelf one I've seen so far would be Cablemod's "pro" cables. In the sense that we've had a handful of community members here say those work with brightness set to 100%, whereas the standard cablemod cable I tried recently had to go below 70% or so.

Lube amount isn't going to make the sound noticeably deeper. If you're after a deep thock you have a few choices:
Easy - thick polycarbonate case (possible with heavy aluminum case), thicker/larger keycaps (SA profile), thinner case foam
Hard - custom plate, different mounting style case

The Salvation supports GH60/DZ60 PCB's and if you are using the Wooting 60HE PCB it will fit. If you get a new plate cut from the 60HE CAD files that wont change how the PCB fits in the Salvation case.

So far I'm really happy with my setup.

The cable doesn't really go with the theme but I saw it and went "wow that looks cool" so now I have a rainbow cable

I'm wondering if there's a way I can soften out the floor a bit though.

I play osu (hence the pink name) and my fingers get tired from flooring the keys while streaming and at the moment - particularly since adding the aluminium/brass case, it's a really hard floor.

I tried adding some O rings to the keycaps, I got 40A 1.5mm ones and they help a bit but I was wondering if there was anything else I could do.

Unusually excellent in fact. Yes you might be able to hear a coil whine if the LEDs are turned up high enough. How loud it is will depend on your ears.
