i use it on my desktop because its install and forget, dont need to keep it updated as it does image based updates in the background and pends them until you reboot / shutdown....ive never once noticed the update process, its that seamless and installing shit from flatpak, appimage and rpm is easy

same team as Bazzite, so any improvements to that can also be given to bluefin

Had to use SteamOS as my desktop on my docked deck and it was annoying

Switching to Bazzite certainly made it reasonable though since software from RPM packages is as common as a DEB package for Ubuntu these days and its not wiped on upgrades like it would on SteamOS
