I just found something neat about the Gnome desktop UI design....
They found a way to make it impossible for people to miss the "Apply" button in the settings

A lot of people I see, who are new to Linux, always miss the apply button on plasma desktop as its this tiny butto in the bottom corner of the settings pane thats easily missed

They make the Apply button show up where the Close button usually is when you make a change

so my understanding is
WOLED creates more heat and is less efficient with brightness because of the colors essentially being filtered so naturally being darker. So the compensate more power to be brighter = more heat?

And QD-OLED is better because it doesn’t filter light so it can be brighter

So is QD-OLED the objective and better panel for OLED buyers to look at. And does it have more draw backs compared to WOLED?

Only two real drawback with QD-OLED is the glare on the glossy panels in less than ideal lighting conditions and they don't get as bright as current gen WOLED's

The black levels rise much more on QD-OLEDs than WOLED which results in more visible glare on glossy QD-OLEDs than on glossy WOLEDs
