he modded the BTF adapter by soldering some wires onto 2 pairs of sense pins on the adapter and inserted it into the BTF connector, fooling the GPU to think that both the 12V connector and BTF connector is plugged in, allowing it to run at the full TGP via the 12 V connector alone.

The ASUS software detects BOTH connectors are connected, but the BTF side has zero amps running through it, which is exactly what was happening, but the 12 V connector was running at a even load of 10 amps through each of the 6(?) pins?

I have quite bad reception when it comes to LTE, but 5G, while having weaker signal, works great
Before update I could just tick 5G/3G, done
After phone update (which it did automatically, because NECESSARY SECURITY UPDATES) I can only pick "Prefer 5G"... and it immediately connects to LTE because signal is a tiny bit stronger
