generally the way I look at this -> do you OC? if not just check what usb/pcie etc. ports you need, sort it by cheapest and look at the first one if that has everything you need and then check if there are known issues with that board

I guys ! I don't know if anyone can help me but I have a big issue with my computer since I bought it years ago. It won't boot on pcie 4.0 16x, it's either 4.0 8x or 3.0 16x. The motherboard is capable of 4.0 16x, but idk why it don't work. When trying to boot in 4.0 16x it either won't get past the "gigabyte" screen, or if it actually go through and get to windows, it's slooooow, like it's impossible to do anything. The only fix I found is by forcing 16x 3.0 in bios. Then it works normally, but when I make a cold boot (like when I start my computer when I wake up) it's slooooow, like previously. Almost like it tries to boot to 4.0 although I forced it through the bios. And to fix that, I need to reboot my computer. But after rebooting, vanguard tells me to reboot again to play valorant, so I reboot again and again till everything works. That's why I tend to leave my computer on weeks. Does anyone knows what could 'cause that to happen ? Would it be defective motherboard, or maybe the cpu ? (Can't be the gpu 'cause it already rma it 2 times and got 3 differents gpu so I know it isn't the culpit)
