So it doesnt make something worse generally and all the big studios like CDPR wont use a completely vanilla UE5 branch but their own changes to it as well, but now they can have people come onboard that dont need to know weird engine quirks of red engine

the main issue is the connector being ass and being easy to have working but not fully inserted or cable sag pulling it out just enough to get bad contact with some pins and eventually start melting

just double check your cable if you move your pc, make sure your cable isn't too tensed up

In wootility v4 go to the settings and i believe under keyboard settings you click on the no controller option. In v5 iirc you just go to the gamepad tab and click it off
