I have always said that smaller and lighter mouse = better. That was based off quick tests I did in Kovaak when i got a new mouse. Most noticable was going from big ergo mice to viper ultimate which was my entry point into lighter mice.
So now many years later I have decided to start testing mice and documenting the results. I chose 2 flicking and 1 tracking scenarios.
For flicking I chose UT3 instagib and Quake 2 Instagib. Quake 2 targets are easier to hit but your gun reloads slower. So misses are more punishing.
For tracking I chose Cata IC Fast Strafes as I think it closely resembles what you can encounter in game.

So does my theory add up? Mostly yes, tho there are definitely some anomalies. Probably due to arm fatigue or just human inconsistency which are the bane of my existence. I had to retake my UT3 test on Beast Mini because on the first go my scores were absolutely abysmal, like in the low 40s.
Anyway. I think the reason why HSK falls short here is due to clicks. They are very heavy and because the mouse is so small, heavy clicks do play a bigger role in how the mouse feels while moving. My hand got fatigued faster (especially in tracking). And pressing the button could induce micro movements.
Hopefully HSK V2 can have lighter clicks.

Please share your feedback on what I can improve going forward. I plan to add more mice to list.
