Then we made the 60HE Module, which has a slightly redesigned PCB that allowed for the screw-in stabilizers it has.

The 60HE+ is the 60HE but using the Module's PCB - so you can install aftermarket screw in stabs if you wish to. Otherwise identical.

Originally the plug was definitely an issue, no reliable locking mechanism, no way to detect not being fully seated. Those are certainly issues with the connector itself.

common misconception

the 30 series had a much worse connector and yet had zero issues

the problem with 40 series is nvidia didnt power balance the connector, where previously they made sure each portion of the connector had even load, so even if you had bad contact, you wouldnt throw the load from the poor contact pin onto another pin

30 series also consumed dramatically more power
