You've got to remember that an OLED costs twice the energy to produce the same amount of light (total light not nits) . So if you want your monitor to be energy star, it ends up being dim.

Probably not but that was an option. An engineer atwork told me the sharp corners on the main plate were probably water jet cut. Also I selected CNC machining on pcbway for all the parts they did not exactly tell me what the process was but I could ask later.
