I always use that Windows Utility at work after giving it a try at home a while back. It is so freaking useful - especially if you're using an older CPU. Disabling all of that unnecessary data collection crap lowers the thread and handle count and gives your CPU a little more room to breathe
For nerds like me, less CPU waste is always a plus haha.

It is worth using depending on what you are looking for. The update app feature is very useful as well and seemed to update apps that weren't even available on the "Install" list. I guess that would only be a problem if you have a pirated app installed. But it never detected the portable pirated app on my machine.
Also, hovering your mouse over any option/action shows a pretty verbose description of what that change does. It's pretty nice!
