It's why you use titanium inserts in CF for mounts. It the mount would have to too large in CF.

Because the stress is localized

The CF structure can easily take the load over large area, but you'd need a giant fastener. This kills any weight savings

You use Ti for the insert to distribute the force over a larger area, because it's strength to volume is much larger.

It's the same with steel vs aluminum

An aluminum part has to be larger than steel part for the same strength, but can still be lighter

You can make a connecting rod and piston in a race engine out of aluminum because there is room for the extra volume without fundamentally changing the working dimensions.

But things like the crank and wrist pins stay steel because of size constraints

And aluminum crank shaft would have bearing journals so large you'd loose all the weight savings making the rods bigger

But anyway

It would be cool to have a hydroformed titanium mouse, it would be extremely hard to beat the weight.

Nvidia raytracing performance is better on a similar product placement, AMD rasterization is actually faster at the same point.

I find windows is fine for games, I dont like it for much else but my time with linux based distros is much better.
With vscode remote its removed platform need for me though as have office machine setup with docker instances for remote VScode so no longer need to care what my client is
