The length of patents is also woefully outdated for the modern society we live in.
Even a ten year length is a console generation and a half. Just think back of what games looked like in 2016.

People would realm transfer to newly made servers, just to be ready to gong, and then move back afterwards.

but yea, he basically had to gather enough people on a fresh server that could beat BWL to get his plans through which was quite the time consuming ordeal, all in all i recall him being gone for like 4 months totals, but afterwards the best part was that we were the only 2 chars on the server with the drone 😄

and honestly, the jealousy was real whenever some of our guild assembled in IF, 2 TF warriors in T3 sitting on drones with a bunch of similarly equipped players of various classes all around, definitely was a nice scene

the release of TBC was quite "interesting" as well going by how we were on a pvp server and most of us were more into trolling horde than exploring new content and were just camping the portal until the GMs stepped in and told us to stop the barricades or we'll get suspended for a day so the horde could enter the new expansion 😇
