HOLY SHIT A DEER
Ye and I think they did a good job imo
Looks cute
I like the gameplay
it really shines when you get to the boss
what he do
I’d ban the guy before he’d even speak
Can’t believe there’s people who unironically watch the roach king 🤢
Asmon confirms Americans illiterate? Bold.
Wonder if he takes a vac or just keeps streaming on his other platforms
dudes been deepthroating trump so furiously for the past couple months he needs a new pair of kneepads
Holy shit.
2nd try. 5% chance
Guess I'll finally have to make a proper Genie character with a turban. 😄
I'm surprised he didn't move to Kick already, vermin like him being in there
People are lazy. Once someone subs, you don't want to remind them to unsub, and risk them not resubbing elsewhere.
(See gym memberships, one month free trials of streaming services etc)
He's multi streaming already
He's making barely any money on twitch while being one of the biggest streamers
That's because he refuses to run ads
Plus I wouldn't say he's barely making money, big streamers print money from Twitch.
Well he can't. Ppl like him and Hasan can't run ads cz they're too controversial
Well according to him and others anyway
oh no, poor guy only makes tripple the median american salary from twitch subs, thats almost nothing : (
He shows his earnings regularly. I don't remember the figure but it's a joke compared to his size. He tells ppl not to sub and has no bonuses for subbing
For being one of the top streamers it's very little. Bro is rich AF through YouTube and his companies
that doesnt matter if he could make more, the statement that hes barely making any money on twitch is just flat out wrong
Relative to his size, I meant
Kick is only a fraction of viewership and he makes a ton more there with ads n subs
Kick can subsidize a ton - after all they are owned by a casino company
Well they run ads on his channel
Idk what kinda ads kick runs. Is it mostly gambling? Or do they do normal shit too
If smth isn't on twitch it's dead to me. I'm not boutta check 15 streaming sites for content
I just hope he moves to kick so I dont have to see his face on twitch anymore, would benefit society a lot
Just don't.. watch him
Can you block streams on twitch?
Or users, and would that also block the stream
I mean me not watching him doesn't change that he's just a detriment to society
yeah he should be making net negative for actively making the world a worse place but here we are
How's he doing that?
are you being serious right now?
Yes
hm idk, how about unironically advocating for war crimes?
I'm curious
dude's preaching hate and intolerance on a daily basis
also that
@fringe salmon to both of those. Like what?
I'm at work so I can't always answer quickly
he's giving commentary about the war with iran and his takes were they should just kill the medics
reasoning is that thats smart because idk he must be viewing it like a video game where he thinks the medpack respawns a soldier
Twitch streamers are not the people to ask about world politics
doesnt change that thats what his content is and what he gets views for
Pretty sure most Twitch streamers are not the people to even ask about the game they are playing
what was the other dumb recent thing? shoplifters should be shot? or was that an older take
Ironically 2 of the biggest streamers do a lot of politics
Twitch should ban political shit ngl
Twitch's biggest misstep was going after non-gaming livestreams instead of adding more gaming focused features.
They used to own Curseforge
They had a Discord competitor
VOD functions could've been a YouTube competitor for gaming content
When a lot of people run to YouTube of all platforms for streaming, from the platform which sole focus is streaming...
Twitch still has a tech advantage in some areas
Especially as YouTube is higher latency for anything above 1080p60 SDR
Feel like way more ppl been going to other platforms. YouTube has kinda stopped trying to actively compete for streaming last I heard
That's because giving out money for exclusive deals wasn't generating a return on investment
Especially as Twitch now allows multi-streaming
Yeah, but... Youtube is suppporting AV1 for both encoding and decoding for almost a year
Twitch is still trying to move with HEVC, AV1 is still very much experimental
Twitch also has drops which is a huge part of viewership for many live service games
If YouTube could start winning over that viewership, then I think people would switch platforms in larger quantities.
The only reason I go there tbh
Youtube refuses to change the UI for streaming, doesnt let you have a set channel link and you need different links to the individual stream each time etc.
Twitch also has a built-in sponsorship system which is kinda cool.
Especially as a way for smaller streamers to get paid for playing a specific game.
youtube very much is a case of oh we have the tech lets add the option without thinking about QoL features that arent super technical but extremely important
Although I just don't really care for Twitch etc at this point
There's a few streamers that I still watch, but my account will get deleted if/when they stop (or I lose interest entirely).
YouTube needs so many of those tiny QoL changes which most of could be made in an afternoon
But instead they prefer chaging UI again and again, so people get confused
The new embed UI is a joke, can't even change volume in many cases
I don't understand why twitch still isn't maining av1..
phones
Phones have issues with it?
you cant switch to universally use av1 so you gain massive overhead if you have to distribute multiple codecs at once
modern phones have it but not the big majority of what people use
Twitch only uses H265 for 1080p and 1440p if a streamer opts into advanced broadcasting
Otherwise it's H264 up to 1080p
yup h265 is supported on more hardware
There's still a huge userbase on mobile and/or incredibly bandwidth limited.
My shitty old Samsung with random Exynos and my Android TV box with random old MediaTek support hardware AV1 decoding
Smart TVs were quite early to AV1 decoding
yeah we're getting to the point where it makes sense to support it thats why they are adding it
Isn't av1 more efficient? As in smaller size for same quality
Even the PS4 Pro supported AV1 decoding using the traditional GPU cores. Although it was only the Netflix app using that feature, I believe.
And no fuckery with patent trolls
Apple were quite late to the party on AV1 decoding though.
Which is probably a limiting factor in widespread adoption.
but thats why its taking a while, also the server hardware needed isn't small, and unlike youtube twitch is mostly not VOD content so using AV1 sooner for internal storage savings doesnt make sense
So they were with USB-C on the phones
Lightning was arguably a better connector
Just give them USB-C cables then
In an ideal world, USB-C is just Lightning.
if your customer is dumb you dont educate them you sell what they think is right
In current year you just push whatever you think is right onto them and they mostly be like "yeah, aite"
I can't wait to see what the MacBook Neo's marketshare ends up being
Anywho, AV1
With HEVC there's still patent problems, mostly because Korean Gensquare and American M&K are buying out patents for pennies and are suing anyone who even thinks of using anything remotely similar
That's why I'm excited for AV1 widespread adoption
I'm going to add to it
A few years of Apple hardware supports AV1 decoding, so that's a start. No hardware AV1 encoding on an iPhone at this moment.
Apple TV 4K doesn't support AV1 which isn't too much of an issue, all the major streaming platforms are largely H264/H265.
yeah some places are already looking at VVC instead of AV1/2 so thats fun and just not helping
In practice, it's probably another decade before AV1 is the codec.
but why
hardware drives adoption and if you see VVC as the next big step because its going to be out before AV2 you might just wait for that
I'm trynna go for a light and dark theme thing
and the same reason why they have a license fee is why they have money to push adoption more than a free codec 🙂 fun 🙂
Good thing that in EU we can just slap x266 on it and done
I'm sure the bigger reason wasn't the extra money printing for people having to sell accessories and cables with the mfi seal of approval
Software patents are a scourge and should never be the case
this is cooler, I think
doesnt change that h266 will be full of license consts again and local use aside is going to be relevant if you expect streaming services to use it
Crazy what kinda shit is patented
I have lil knowledge but that patent trolling that rothschild tried on is valve was questionable. Like they have a Patent to have smth on a server and for others to be able to download?
At least that's how I understood it
US 8.856.221 "System and method for storing broadcast content in a cloud-based computing environment"
How they got patent on that is a joke in itself, because that's basically patenting a concept of server, everything on server is broadcast content
But it's funnier that Valve licensed that patent, and then Rothschild went, yeah, nah, not for Steam Deck
Crazy how shit like that is legal. Prolly cz boomers who didn't understand what it means
They should revamp the system and stop this bs
Most patents and laws that make no sense are pushed like that, yes
Won't be changed because people with money like how it is
not bad
Looks cool
it does
Me when Ulduar
new anran face
They like.. faintly changed the eyes and brows
Before and before
enough change imo
Her face is a little bit skinnier
Less chubby
face go from looking like a brat to normal ish
corpos keep pushing these unrealistic body standards smh
That was the change we needed. Good thing they listened to that one tweet from that one va
the VA only did shit after the fans did 😭
For a change noone can even tell without being told it happened and even then you wouldn't see it in-game
Without the comparison I wouldn't have realised it's changed
it hasnt changed ingame yet
Well to me at least it seemed like her tweet made blizz react. But idk
Since she voiced the character
nah the community "outrage" was pretty crazy
Was it tho..
definetly the main topic for a few weeks
Felt like the usual loud minority who doesn't buy the product anyway
Blizzard is a weak company that seems to easily cave
shit got 90k likes and 2.6mil views
so do gamers want companies that react to feedback or nah
Well that's a really nice pic
even the news articles about the face changes before and now get lots of interest
bro i hate twitter
why is there random nsfw stuff 😭
because twitter is garbage
Why can't you filter out shit based on interest
I don't use twitter but it'd be nice to have a pol filter that you can toggle
Sure. But remember when Blizzard was the Reddit point of attention for caving to China. They just seem to side with whatever will cause them the least outrage. No balls company
uh what China thing
Well everyone who's competent left. Only suits and losers still work there
there were many xd
Blizzard be caving for money, I can imagine it'll be harder to sell skin for the character when a lot of people having trouble with their face.
They kind of blend together with me too
not a fan of the regional exclusive stuff they get now
Remember when China were one of the most hated things on Reddit due to the Uyghur stuff etc.? Reddit slacktivists have just forgotten about that (because they never truly cared in the first place), and because Trump being bad apparently makes China good
They barely changed shit and they didn't do what these people were trying to reach. They said they'd rework it so ppl stfu and now no one will care enough to start a shit storm for yet another change
Gonna order 300k Twitter bots and bully them into changing whatever I want in the game
at least china has aliexpress

Overwatch is still relevant?
She looked more middle eastern with a bigger nose in the trailer. And they changed almost nothing
Still one of the biggest live service games. So yes
It's hard to tell how popular it is. When I quit the game years ago it felt like it was dying because queue times felt so long
And it's a game people almost never speak positively about, no matter if they actively play it or not
Not that hard to tell. You look at steam ccu and also realize that many ppl stayed on battlenet to play it
Dont say that too loud or the mods will delete your messages
On here
How do I post the message more quietly?

Why would mods on here care
You dont
it was the 6th most popular pc game in february (after cs2, minecraft, roblox, fortnite and league)
About what in that statement?
What happened in January 2026 to give it this boost
big update
Reboot, renaming it to ow again and new shit
Literally last time i mentionned this topic my messages got deleted by a member of staff, we do not speak ill of china around here as it makes wooting look bad
Chyna
@grok is this true?
I'm not aware of China having done a single thing to actually earn people's love since the days of when they were the most hated thing on the internet. And now I can't tell if people are being serious or not when they act like China is great and epic
@buoyant osprey
Don’t forget Reddit used to love Elon as well
There was this time where Chinese people without job aka social media influencers were hating on Wooting because... reasons
Yeah but to be fair he did actually (publicly) change. I'm not aware of China doing it
China suddenly being «loved» just seems to be some kneejerk anti-Trump contrarianism
As if they are the best alternative instead of a new third one
Wasn't it just the reveal of his politics?
Yes I count going public with it as changing
The Path of Exile 2 stream for Elon was fucking brutal
Everything he does brings that reaction lol. Bro could come up with the cure for cancer
But yeah it's funny doing Google searches and finding old posts to see now infamous people be total Reddit darlings before like Elon and Rowling
People legit spamming that no one loves you and shit like that
Ye but he was already hated then
He used to be quite left-leaning and was proudly saying about equality and LGBT share of employees in his companies for example
But too much money does to people what it does
Plus he was always a hack, but people didn't understand rockets, so he was praised a genius
He loves to personally fire people as well
Just because he owns the company doesn't mean he knows shit, the engineers know their shit and did most of the work
But people tend to associate owner and company products
Its odd
Teslas went from being awesome futuristic cars until people started hating Elon then they were suddenly disastrous terrible cars that don't function and I am suspicious of that
that stream was a revelation that he was full of shit to gamers, but its been known that he was full of shit long ago.
Quality control was always shoddy on them if you actually looked at automotive channels
It was so hard to watch
Also they had rust issues for example
And paint issues
Which were widely documented even while tesla was considered "good"
Never heard of that. I guess people were too busy salivating over the idea of a car running on electricity
But I was never a car fan so I'm just reporting the general vibe around them
like the hyperloop fad, that was when most ppl caught on he was full of shit
thats 14 years ago
elon musk is a pathological liar with no friends
CHINA NUMBA ONE 👲 🇨🇳
https://ici.radio-canada.ca/nouvelle/1772567/peinture-tesla-voiture-fragile-modele-trois-facture
it's in french but this is before elon went full on maga and back then i'd say he was still... liked?
Idk in canadian media the rust problems were fairly talked about
what does this mean in a non maple french language
That teslas rust
lowkey might download rust just to knock on people's door then runaway
oh yeah we've seen plenty of that here too
also really weak parts used in things like suspension and chassis assembly
And the paint chips and is just bad
hit a curb a bit fast and the car is basically written off bad
And this was prior to elon going full crazy and buying twitter
And going full wierdo maga
dude just did what made him most likely to get away with corpo crimes
he knew if he suckered up to trump he'd gain access to american institutions that was looking into his bullcrap
and dismantle them
I mean the dude is a liar, a fraud and stupid but he's not that stupid
He's kind of like Ainz from Overlord
Everyone loved Tesla until he supported trump. Then it was a Nazi car and the libtards did what they do best. Think they have the moral high ground which makes it ok to use violence to scare people into submission
But yeah road salt + harsh quebec winters = rusted tesla within a year
I've seen the maga cultists use a lot more actual violence so far tbh
Tesla's used to be those people's favorite cars cz it was so green and "good for the environment" while looking sleek like an apple product
Haven't Tesla's also had some weird things where you have to pay for very normal features like seat warming etc.
but I guess people are subjective in what they want to see or not based on their own biases
i wonder how norway deals with this, as they have lots of teslas and harsh winters
that was mercedes, and they dont do that anymore
third party rust proofing
Really? Like what. Cz almost all violent" protest"s have been Antifa or other left groups in the past 10 years
how about ICE shooting people in the street, or magaites breaking into politicians homes and murdering them
Pretty sure they had the same issues
Did Tesla never have any weird subscription thing?
I wish I could give an answer but I've never owned a car
Ice aren't civilians and they shot 2 people, one of which risked hitting a cop with a car and another one bringing a gun to a protest
it wasn't even close tho, what sources are you even watching
Second amendment rights for me but not for thee
😡
carrying a gun, not pointing it at anyone, which is legal in the US
what is this cherrypicking lmao
I watched the video of the dude almost getting hit. And why would you escalate and try to flee or bring a gun to a fucking Protest in the first place.
it is your right as an american citizen, but nice victimblaming
Funny how the right didnt say that about kyle rittenhouse
They didn't deserve death but if you escalate, situations can escelate
I can see quite clearly where your biases lie
using terms like libtard and seeing nothing wrong with the rhetoric people like asmeinkampf uses
Bro acted in self defence with overwhelming Video evidence showing it. Which is why he won. Your what aboutisms don't work. But he also shouldn't have brought a gun
But he did
Bring a gun to a protest
And the guy who got shot by ice did and didn't pull it out
I have no biases and using violence to scare people into submission is garbage behaviour. I don't call left wing people libtards. I call specific people that
of course you have biases, everyone has bias
So @compact oriole should all firearms be banned at protests no matter the political affiliation
Are you at least consistent on that?
Rittenhouse would've had is ass shot if he had met the cops and tried to resist arrest. It's his luck he didnt
Ofc. Why would you bring a fucking gun
ok but he still brought a firearm to a protest
self defence
Plenty of americans do for self defense purposes and it's not outlawed in most jurisdictions
It's way more likely to get short if you have a gun than if you dont
Hnless there's a city ordinance
things can get nasty at these things, especially if you have an unhinged wannabe dictator at the helm pulling the strings of these people
And that's why concealed and open carry is moronic
It's really easy. The gun isn't the problem. Don't fucking try to resist an arrest and it won't escelate. Obv I'm not on ice side to just shoot em. But I would never think to try and resist cops in general and esp not in the US
its pretty clear to me that ICE has no interest in the safety or lives of american people under trumps direction
As a whole
It is absolutely stupid
The US can never go back but the whole weapon thing over there is a huge problem in general
it can go gunless, but it would take a long time
Well most people who conceal carry bring guns to protest no matter the political affiliation
and yes US weapon laws have a billion flaws but that doesn't change the fact that alex didn't violate any laws by carrying a gun
Are we just supposed to use it as a justification for anyone shot by police if it's seen as normal?
To have a gun on you
Even if the gun isn't deployed touched or used as a means to threaten
No. I'm saying bringing one and then escelating increases the chances of shit happening
Even outside of this you on the street.
The guy that was shot was definitely a violent attention seeker but the shooting was definitely unjustified, and the gun he had on him was also fine, it's not like he was using it or pointing it at people
Just owning a gun increases your chances of being shot
Doesn't justify it happenning
He didn't even have the fun when he was shot
helping a woman get on her feet after being shoved by ICE agents isn't really escalating to me
especially not to the extent to warrant getting shot in the back of the head
Do I speak Chinese? I didn't say it was justified. I said it increases the odds
they can blame him having a gun on him all they like, he wasn't pointing it at anyone and didn't present a direct threat to them
Bro was on the ground flailing while being held by like 6 officers
The guy who shot him was a re***
Guy was on the ground and disarmed in front of him
And he shot him nevertheless cz someone screamed " he got a gun"
It's obv not justified
But having one got him killed
You said it was earlier
Beepboop
Those were the reasons it happened. I didn't say it was justified
Also true
Seems more fair to say he was killed because of a major mistake by someone else and not because he was armed
They're clowns with only weeks of training. But nevertheless. If you resist, you escelate the odds of shit happening.
Ye but if you don't fight the cops it's very unlikely
Gun got taken away and the agent didn't have the critical thinking of i just saw the gun being taken away but i'm hearing gun so i'm shooting
If you think it's a false arrest go with it and then sue
Would have been avoided if they didn't have guns out. Then no one would have shot him
Well it seemed like the counter argument of me saying he shouldn't have brought a gun
By which I stand but the actual issue is trying to escelate imo
Cops say, turn off the car, you turn off the car. That typa shit
You always lose if you resist like this even if you don't lose your life to some idiot, you'll get charged on top
I'm just saying how it is, not that it should be like that
They're untrained monkeys. There's no question about it. How is it possible that ice or cops in general in the US only get weeks or months of training. Over here it's like 5+ years of school, training on the job under supervision and tons of tests
yep they are literally in it to cause mayhem and hurt people
its basically a free pass to be antisocial
Also gotta be physically fit. I get why that's not a requirement over there tho
@ivory dune Absolute state of Echo's pull count
it was kinda of depressing watching this race, I can understand the game without having played it since they lowered addon requirements
but man all of these players just lack understanding of basic game mechanics it seems lol
ive never played wow. i heard tho that the race was kind of a joke cz it was so easy that they finished it way faster than usual or smth
also they took out a ton of spells and added a one button auto rotation that does x% less damage?
Echo threw the win in the end
One button rotation is an accessibility option that's designed to perform worse than actually playing the game.
man progging new raids is one of my top experiences ive ever had in gaming. i wish there was an mmo i enjoyed just for this
The people who need one button rotation aren't the target audience for Mythic raids.
practicing a new raid, finding out mechs by trial and error with a cool group
peak gaming moments for me
yeah blind progging raids is fun
which is why I'd never try wow while they have a test realm where you do QA for them to test the raids
sounds dumb as hell and boring as fuck
well you dont have to play it
or watch content on it. i completely blind progged all lost ark raids until i quit with a group of likeminded people (which was insanely hard to find). all raids were years old but for us they were new
well yeah just saying why I dont play wow, in FF14 I can worst case even just find randoms to blind prog on release day, sounds impossible to even heave anything like that in wow
all these people only focussed on the end goal instead of enjoying the journey
it also just shows whos able to understand a game and who just follows guides xD
people who can figure out how and why it works can goof around more and people who just learn how to follow a guide panic if something goes wrong
people want the quick and easy way
Learning mechanics organically? Takes time and effort.
Watching a video and a quick guide, and chastising anyone who didn't for it, and kicking them from raid groups.
definitely. after the first week when we beat it blind compared to all the guide followers we were way more solid with the whole raid than almost anyone else. and we werent even sick tryhard gods at the game. we just practiced a ton and learned it the "right way"
I enjoy progression raiding in WoW, but a combination of guides being ready on day zero and being able to outgear normal/heroic really quickly does ruin the fun.
The key is to not raid. Take a break, watch the cinematics and someone doing an edited down run. Come back next expansion.

Final Fantasy XIV has a better structure in that regard, gearing is paced so you need several weeks of clears to really out gear boss fights plus there's no PTR to test and write guides.
i also made sure to be on ilvl for the content cz out damaging everything also sucks
yup, XIV I did all of this expansions raids blinds, just not the ultimates because dear god I dont have enough time for that
I never liked raiding in ffxiv
took us >60hours of pure active fight time for FRU, doing that blind easily would double that xD
I just do not dig yhe ffxiv artstyle I think
It feels too same-y for me.
But we all have different tastes
reshade and mods can fix that if its the art
I will never run reshade or mods again
Mare users
I'm one of the people who reverse engineered the dawnsomething shaders
XIV has a huge moderation problem
mare is long dead
Cheating is sadly rife in XIV and the game rewards it.
There's no client-side anti-cheat and pretty much nothing server-side either.
It's why I never touched PvP in XIV, cheating galore.
I mean its mostly a group pve game, not like that matters much
Pretty much none of the crafters with high leaderboard scores for Ishgardian Restoration are legit.
Same for the Dawntrail crafting and gathering content, everyone is botting.
I mean sure but its not like that changes much, you can afk craft everything with ingame macros
final pantasy
Yeah, I went down the rabbit hole of the XIV community when it was my main game.
Especially in any mod-centric communities, never again.
It's mostly just egos from people that get a lil' social media following, but there's also some very weird people.
Hides WoW modding community
now youve gone too far buddy. the r34 people will come and find you
I enjoy the game and will eventually go back to it, probably in 7.56 to play the remaining Dawntrail MSQ and to prepare for 8.0.
I never understood nor wanted to "work" in that ffxiv modding community
better hide any modding community
Modding a video game isn't a job.
People charge so much money for silly things
lol, lmao even
But it can lead to one.
That people actually make it a job
I never understood why XIV players in particular get a real hard on for monetising asset rips from other games.
people make more money than they could get in a fulltime job at times
The pipeline for modding is often similar to a job
However, when your mini skirt has 2 mil tris I get very upsetti spaghetti
but so often its just second life and vrchat assets repackaged for XIV and sold again
Especially when you charge 15 bucks for said abamination
The XIV community is it's own worst enemy and I can't wait for it to come crashing down.
my character was made with randomize appearance->start playing so I never cared for mods anyway but its funny to watch
Modding has no real oversight
as long as my "everyone is elon musk" mod is free im fine
you have just described the internet
yeah but its really funny seeing half of limsa DC because someones zip-bomb style hair got loaded
As someone who is a professional at modeling, it grinds my gears when people say "It's just so easy lol"
The oversight in the modding community, especially paid mods, is a charge back.
And then their fucking hairstyle is five hundred time the resource hog of the entire limsa city model
but it also looks good dont forget about that
You have these dodos that have earrings that have more tris than entire boss fight models together with the players
That’s only sometimes the case
And it's exactly these people who leave shitty reviews saying the game got worse
Mild take but most XIV mods are incredibly ugly and ruin the art style of the game
100%
Big boob big butt
Well yeah most of them are literally copied from second life and co so it doesn’t fit at all
Or just the same person publishing what they did in the past
woah just cause you dont wanna play with every race swapped for WoW races doesnt mean no one wants to
I liked the fidelity of BG3 more anyway
My favourite part of BG3 is Shadowheart
Especially WoW races with their still low quality models
yes
I mean... it's an art style.
Comparing classic models to retail is a world of difference.
FF14 also suffers a tad from "Human but X" syndrome. Most race options are basically humans with minor differences.
I, for one, enjoy bunny girls.
A world of differencecraft

Warcraft 3 vs... warcraft 3? Neat
I like fucky races
no vs just closeup
Like voidelf with tentacles, undead, tauren, orc
Define "fucky"
Why are we bringing a "remastered" RTS into the discussion between two MMOs? 😄
Everyone's too normie good looking in ffxiv
more the low poly classic models of wow and all i could think of was the wc3 orc grunt
I mean... yeah. That's fair. Cause Wow Classic basically was upscaled WC3 at that point. And not by much.
Game ran on basically nothing 😄
Retail still isn't photo real - And thank god. It would look dreadful (Cinematic models are a tad weird to look at)
i mean theres prob an even more iconic model besides the grunt

good ol peon
I also have some... complaints about certain newer races. The drake human male form is... ridiculous.
work work

Looks very yassified IMHO
Ru Paul Drag Race: The Game
mansen getting ready to larp as kristi noems husband
I'm also not a huge fan of having the burly, thicc humans be considered a separate race. Especially since they have such a limited selection of hairstyles and bears compared to "Normal" humans.
But that's a wider complaint. 3-4 races have an alt look now that's a separate subrace.
Lore accurate haircuts
Like - did we really need a separate race of Gnomes, just to give them mechanical limbs?
Diaper gnomes
Dwarves but dark skinned and red magma bears (Or stone dwarf cause lore)
We've got four? different kinds of elf. I mean... come on 😄
Can't be a High Elf though
why do all your races have bears mansen
Blood Elves can - Which is the real irony 😄
that's the bloodelves for you, former high-elves that simply renamed their race after the events from warcraft 3 iirc
You joke - But honestly most of my characters are bulky like me. 😄
FF14 - Main race was the big ogre people.
Wow: Tauren
i mean more that you type bear not beard
Ohhhh.... I always make typos.
I'm a Human Male in WoW
aka steak on legs^^
I tape really fast, but I also make alot of typos 😄
Sexy-ass Bunny Boy™ in XIV
i mean for tauren just ram a pole up their backdoor, jank off their equip and you got a spitroast ready^^
huh
i mean blizzard got you covered in those endeavors
sadly it had quite a bit of a cooldown back in the day, usually couldn't pole everyone in my path before they released, but then again, shadowmourne arms warrior in top arena gear was simply a wreckingball, add some disco priest behind it and there's almost no stopping him^^
(wotlk times were the best for pvp) 😇
heh i actually played since the vanilla CB thanks to winning an entry ticked in a diablo 2 tournament and stopped 1 week after cataclysm dropped and ruined the game for good
Cataclysm was decent
I enjoyed raiding in Firelands and Dragon Soul
Mists of Pandaria was probably peak PvE end-game IMHO
Legion in second, but mostly because of the stacked content cycle.
it was the worst crap the game could've turned into, that mastery rating literally made my entire raid community quit right at cata release or at most 1-2 months after
like who cares about stats on loot anymore and decides from that which class deserves it most, when you can just remove stats at will and turn them into the holy grail named mastery rating instead >_<
not to even mention the totally castrated talent trees
See, I never understood why talent trees needed to remain when you specifically select a spec before placing any talents.
At least in earlier versions of the game, the system was more traditional.
People like the illusion of choice
not really an illusion
i've had like 25 different warrior specs for each specific task which all were worth doing in the end
like even different arena ones, one def and one off for each, 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5
the respec costs were kinda high, especially thanks to the glyphs but eh, can't reach the top of the arena and boss speed kills if you're not willing to invest for the best setup
how much of a difference were they really tho
some were quite weird stuff like 22/31/18 and alike and could sometimes really save my ass in tight spots
Uh huh...
and specs like that, that effectively used all 3 trees were simply impossible after cata dropped since you had to bottom out the first tree before you could even place any points into another one
And yet the game is still alive a handful of expansions later. It's okay fellow Grandpa. The youngs don't understand it.
well, they've lost quite a huge portion of veterans with cata, just to appeal to newer audiences, which imo is the biggest dick move you can do

i mean hey, we were quite the varied group age wise, from young ones at like 16 up to our guild granny and grandpa at 68/74, yet everyone had fun together 😅
They'll need new players sooner or later
Legion onwards has implemented a lot of ARPG mechanics into gearing
Also because a ton of Diablo devs got moved onto the WoW team
sure, but what's the point of getting new players when they directly drive away loyal veterans in the same move?
veterans that made the game successful in the first place at that
I think their goal is to keep their game alive by adding and changing things, to keep players wanting to play.
Nothing in the playbook about catering more to veterans, if they are vastly outnumbered by new players.
yet the subscription numbers dropped considerably just a few weeks into cata 🤔
And that was definitely the last thing that ever happened in WoW history. Nothing further ever happened.

those numbers literally point exactly towards my stance, wotlk was the best expansion and gut butchered to pieces afterwards, even tho they managed to regain a good amount during the past 2 years it's still laughable
Okay grandpa. Go back to playing Wrath classic then.
why would i play wrath classic? they took over 10 years to finally bring up classic servers and then still altered parts of it, so yea, instead of paying them for their neglect i'd rather hop on warmane every now and then to scratch the itch
Aight. Have a nice day. 😄
Housing is gonna do huge numbers for WoW long-term
was also suggested like 20 years ago and just recently they started acting on it 😄
They spent a decade working on it in secret
It's taken a lot of effort for them to build housing into WoW, but it's a very good system.
Doesn't suffer from the same flaws as other MMOs either
FF14 housing lottery hides in a closet
really no clue why it would take them a decade to get it in when they already had the foundation set during vanilla, namely dungeons that save the state on an individual basis 🤷♂️
Being able to place thousands of items in your own house
Being able to set the room layout
Having a hidden buffer zone between rooms and floors so you can place objects in walls etc
Being able to size/transform all items
A dye system
A system for storing all your collected housing items
Personally I'll stick with my little Pandaren homestead. Too much work to build a house with no payoff.
There's also the neighbourhood system as you can decorate your estate outside the housing interior
Plus there's both guild and public neighbourhoods
Cheese. All the cheese.
There’s some player criticism of housing. It’s making the game too soft and girlie, apparently.

Man... I forgot how nice Kul Tiras looks.
Not that dull troll jungle.
Guess it's time to roll a Monk. Get a proper brewmaster look going 😄
Ugh... I only have a DK to unlock Kul Tirans. And all of the action bars are messed up. Funtimes.
Import BG2 character into Neverwinter Nights?
Funny seeing these outdated loading screen tips
is pillar of eternity a good game?
Uhhh.... maybe if you like that kind of game?
If you don't, skip them and play the new one that's basically Dragon Age I guess? 😄
I wish they made a new Dragon Age game that didn't suck
But is the game good?
Skip the basegame and play the two expansions separately.
Iirc Wizards pushed hard to make the game a DMs dream sandbox with tools...and the campaign suffered massively from it.
They managed to address that with the expansions.
dragon age is the modern version of pillar of eternity?
No. Pillars of Eternity has three games. The first two are oldschool cRPGs. The newest one controls like Mass Effect/Dragon Age (later games)
I guess their release plan was... off target
Thank you, never change.
Can't wait for people complaining that Nintendo banned their consoles, for putting a game they purchased legitimately into their Switch
from all the videogame community I have seen the one of marathon is unique. These people are sabotaging the game they love just to pretend they are werewolf hardcore energy gamers (discord) or masochist loving to die 20 times in a row (reddit). They are so delusionnal even when you try to bring feedback to make the game fun for everyone they act like extremist saying what you say it is just hate 😵💫
honesly the game could have been fun but it isnt and this community is awful
Par for the course to be fair
Reddit is a cesspool in the best of circumstances
Discord, too, if we're being honest
cannot believe I paid 40 euros for a game, played 50 hours, but I am not even allowed to bring any feedback because apparently I would like to see the game I paid fail
people just cannot handle criticism anymore
Your mistake was giving a damn about what other random people online think about your opinions
yeah true
but I love the universe of marathon I would just like to be able to have fun with it
honestly I just said that hoping eventually feedback could help the developpers
but this community is just extreme I dont know
1.25 hours per dollar is pretty good..
I’d say you got your moneys worth
Drop the game and never play it again
yeah sometimes I think about jumping into a discussion about something but then I realize I don't really give enough of a shit to warrant mudfighting with the pigs
My engagement with Reddit is limited to solely downvoting people on WallStreetBets who don't gain or lose at least 100k in their post
Y’know, physical games releasing early is why I can see a major AAA game being digital-only at release to avoid spoilers. My money is on GTA VI.
true but tbh I didnt really enjoy it
well I wanted to improve
I don’t ever see the industry going fully digital, maybe digital first then physical but thats about it AT MOST.
how
This is literally soriamoria 2.0 who beat re9 5 times and got every achivenent just to say "it bad"
idk gotta enjoy it to some extend if you put in 50 hours
🤣
Literally
I think it should be within the first 5 hours to determine if you like a game or not imo
most people dont even take 20 minutes to decide that
😭
Unfortunately true
I swear it's like the people who say "starfield gets good after 15 hours guysssss"
Fucking idiots
woulda been his favorite game if itd have locked cameras and tank controls
Xbox is pretty much digital only, I don’t see future consoles having a disc drive at all.
Sony are on their way with the disc drive being an add on. Some rumours suggest PS6 will only support a disc drive for backwards compatibility purposes.
Nintendo’s hand will be forced due to flash memory prices and the Switch 2 cartridges being slow. Even game key cards are too expensive to really justify from a publisher’s perspective.
“The show really picks up after season 5, you just have to get through all the bullshit first”
I could see all three platforms being near exclusively digital in the next 5 years.
I like the old re games but they don't stack up nowadays, it's mostly nostalgia keeping em relevant
well in the discord they told me that I wasnt allowed to criticize the game because 50 hours is nothing and I could only appreciate the game after like 120 hours
yeah this community is weird
physical is already basically dead. idk if theres statistics but id be surprised if more than 10% of sales in the west are physical
At 120 hours my dude you need 300 hours clearly
yeah 😂
the worst part is the guy who told me that was the most friendly of them
its the usual gate keepers putting up an imaginary goalpost to dismiss your argument. when youre at 120 theyll say you need 250
My favorite is the Steam reviews of games that say the game is awful, yet they have a thousand hours in the game at review time and several thousand more afterwards
believe me it is a cult
I have 3000 hours on Fortnite and I can say I kinda enjoy it, it’s pretty good
they were telling everyone to play another games some week ago
now that casuals left they complain the game is too difficult
they dont understand that without sbmm, well sbmm happen anyway when casual leave
it took me a 30 minutes video about Marathon to decide that the game is ass
well its one thing to enjoy a game or have an addiction and then to recommend it to others to play
The thumbnail was enough for me
on the discord it is a contest to the most stupid idea to game the game more difficult
because for sure there are too many players right now
on reddit you find the masochist "oh I lost 50 games in a row but I am addicted"
Too many players, yea that's the problem they have
even tho i hated the art direction i gave marathon a fair try and didnt enjoy it enough to want ot buy it. id have played a couple rounds for free tho
they were begging casuals go go play arc raiders at the slight criticism
It's not that I didn't like the art direction, the neon color barrage will give me a headache
I dont joke
I find it hard to believe video game addiction is a thing, like I know it is but my brain cannot wrap itself around the concept
time to read funny War Thunder Reviews
Good, I need more easy targets
your brain coping, like most addicts
it is like in a cult where you have to prove you are more pure than other member of the cult by being more extreme well it is marathon

9 years of fortnite mustve done a number on me
Any action that triggers a dopamine response can be addicting
ive had some heavy addictions to some games over the years. but it was also insanely fun
Mark is a Rimworld enjoyer
we know Mark is unstable
imagine you do a review saying it is not so great

dali rules all
The Rimworld OST is unironically my most listened album on Spotify
Wait what? I launched the game and my hours played went down? What kind of witchcraft is this
the game wanna tell you that 2 hours playtime wasn't even there
it was just in your head
Guess I've got to make those hours up

man its been so long that i played portal 1 and 2 that i could actually replay it
i would love to see Portal 1 and 2 remakes in Source 2
didnt they release some rtx version for p1
I recently replayed Portal 2, showing it to a friend
... I thought it was recent, nearly 2 years ago
It was a tech demo more than anything else

yeah it works great
i want more Portal games into my Library
Sorry, Valve is incapable of counting to 3
im dling it now to check how it runs
Sad Left 4 Dead noises
how do you fick up this bad
the levels are tiny and the textures aren't particularly high res
i wonder if hes playing 4k res
time to replay Portal 2 for the 10 000th time
Will STS2 be adding more content later on? It says early access at the moment.
'Still Alive' from at the end of Portal during the credits.
'Still Alive' by Jonathan Coulton: http://www.jonathancoulton.com
and sung by Ellen McLain (GLaDOS, TF2 Announcer, HL2 Overwatch Administrator)
I don't own the song or video in any way. It's a great song, and I uploaded it purely based on that and to share it with others.
Enjoy!
Ly...
i would be suprised that i forgot even one Test Chambers
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdpvj_iVAFk still my favorite moment
Yes Another one of the great song pieces in portal 2 this time with t he turrets and COMPANION CUBE AT THE END! + FREEDOM :)
bro.. rtx 5090, 3440x1440 maxed no dlss im getting like 35 fps in the spawn chamber
with quality dlss it goes up to 60-80. so thats playable i guess
Akko I've named this new baby after you

Don't worry, the ex Devs are gonna make their own game and it's going to be just as good if not better!
Oh wait....
i mean i had fun playing Back 4 Blood
Oh yeah. Now we're cooking brewin'
hm i guess its playable with dlss
Back 4 Blood would have been way more fun without getting sucked into the dumb card based bullshit and all the garbage 2015 and later era "not actually fun but we call it engagement" parts of gaming...
I think Evolve was much better in that respect, but it never got the chance to come into its own...
I enjoyed that game
Evolve looked fun
It was
Evolve was fun on the beginning
Later on it was just running around in circles
gibe me more left 4 dead content
It suffers from the same problem that the highest level of L4D2 competitive play had:
A tank event at the highest levels would always be won by the survivors.
However, a top level tank player against anyone except the top 1% of players, the tank is untouchable and will wipe the surivors every time.
Asymmetrical PvP is incredibly hard to balance
But when it is balanced, yeah, it's fun
i'll never forgive the homies doing the "Nothing Special" achievement without me
they werent real homies
My most prized achievement
i use to laugh when i heard the boomer was close
I mean it also lacked a lot of features l4d had too
As for evolve, I liked it but most of my gameplay was the beta tbh
The launch rubbed me the wrong way with pre order and dlc monsters
And not to toot my own horn or anything, but 100% finale win rate....
Because you don't play the game you just run past zombies
And leave Team mates to die
Not my fault you can't find the shove button
Ach in campaign you respawn next map anyway
Or in the case of the Parish bridge finale... Well yea, you're on your own pal
Ye I think we did custom games or something
Like one of us was a zombie right
90% if my gameplay growing up was modded on a cracked version tbh hahaha
That's versus mode yea
I think I had to use a lan application to play with my friends and others who had pirates it 🤣
One moment please, I've got mech breachers to deal with
Smaller Randy roll, easily dispatched with just one Mastodon casualty
hot take they should update the gun sounds in l4d 2
sounds so horrid now unless its a me issue

They sound very flat compared to more modern shooters, yea
for its time though it was peak
The gun play in general doesn't hold up to the best of recent games
At least you can mod the sound on l4d
My tank music is the Imperial March
playing as the zombies against survivors was too much fun in L4D2
coordinating attacks with several different classes
I vividly remember buying the l4d box edition back then
And the box had a cd and a small sticker with a cd key
I still have a physical copy of L4D2 here
it was cheaper buying it that way and registering the key on steam than buying it on steam directly
My friend had a physical copy, I think it's how I grabbed the files and cracked it
Back when my internet was like 2mb down
L4D2 was the first game I took very seriously, it will always have a special place in my heart
Makes sense
for me it was Q3A and TF2
I couldn't pin down a single game
I only ever played a casual few hundred hours in TF2
TF2
Probably my first serious game in terms of commitment was probably pirates of the Caribbean online
last one was world of warships
Or cod zombies since I played every single version from release
That's where I tasted sweet sweet online in-game item gambling
Up until black ops 4
Halo 3 is another one, I played that game religiously, I wanna say as much as Halo CE but probably not.
I stopped playing after the Hats update
I held a grudge against halo for maaany years
Like genuinely, I played everything I couldn't even remember a lot.
Especially shooters
It wasn't the game, it was the players
nah it was the fact that halo was the game that truly popularized shooters on console
If you didn't play halo 3 during its peak you weren't living
and basically ruined shooters on PC for like 15 years in the process
badly optimized console to PC ports and shitty tropes like cover mechanics or waiting for shields to regen
Still a thing tbf XD
I started playing in 2014
I don't mind those mechanics as such but they became extremely overused throughout the 00s and early 10s
I played for a few hours but couldn't get into TF2
TF2 was peak in 2010 when I played it far too much every day, no bias here no siree
But I think I was late to the scene
Then CoD took it to a whole new level with base health regenerating for no reason
Tf2 is one of the games where you play for fun every once in a while tbh
Battlefield wasn't innocent
I don’t understand people who constantly play it, power to them tho
These days it's just bots
Honestly, if cod died for good it would be a nice day.
I agree
They're doing their best to do just that
Then again I stopped being into MP cod when ghosts came out.
Can't come soon enough
I was always zombies
Then again Pleasant, you enjoy Fortnite, soooooo 😛
CoD has jumped the shark so many times its jumping through the multiverse at this point
But once the aether storyline ended I stopped
Yeah matchmaking ruined things, I enjoyed hopping on one of my fav TF2 servers and seeing the same names and knowing how things would go based on that
If you played during the Star wars events you would too
Some of the smoothest lightsaber and blaster combat to date
Ive never missed a single season of Fortnite, I’ve played every one of them at least once
gross
And flying in space with star fingers/x wings
Spoken from the perspective of someone who has never played a good Star Wars game
The storming death star experience was incredible
It’s the Gen Z cells in me, I cannot stop.
Tell me a good one
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast
dark forces and jedi knight
I've played it
Played it
dark forces had no lightsabers though, but very satisfying guns
Fortnite started to become sloppy in like Season 9 or so? Then it was shoveling everything on the way
But tbh I don't love Fortnite much these days
Haven't for a long time, I login and have a game or two every so often.
But the music mode is so god damn fun
fortnite am holding a grudge against for basically killing the unreal franchise completely
It's so relaxing to vibe and make music with people
I got tired of fortnite season 9 and season 10, didn’t play for a long while until I had the sudden itch and got into chapter 2 season 1
the bitter unc in me is speaking
As for VaderAI, I found it funny but definitely wasn't necessary.
Me and @maiden tulip got him talking about Wooting
Season 3 was peak
chapter one?
Fake John Wick was where it's at
Season 0 was peak
I never really got into it until late season 4, I did play every season prior. It was mostly because my older brother was a fat hogging bastard who wouldn’t let me play on the ps4
I love AI corpsewalking beloved actors for soulless corpos profit
it was indeed
My favourite season was tanks, they were so op it was hilarious
those john wick players were cracked
Double pump times
It got nerfed like two days later
Idk man, there's something so chill about Fortnite, at least in the past.
It was really cool and fresh take on Battle Royale at the time
Now it's just everything platform
fortnite is a containment for 12 yo yes. Cannot imagine them coming to play arc
downfall of fortnite was creative mode and people making money off the game
every lobby was a sweat fest
Chapter 3, Season 2 was pretty much when I started playing.
"Fresh take" copied PubG pound for pound, except for the childish graphics and mechanics
pubg was goated
I just hate the graphical design of fortnite
To be clear, PubG was itself a copy of a earlier game, but that doesn't make Fortnite more holy
I... After years of saying the same disagree
I think it's beautiful these days
Before it was pretty ugly
i miss voip
That's the great thing about opinions. They're like assholes. Everyone has one, and they all stink
Ye
I do miss playing Fortnite though, most of the time I just play music mode and custom games now.
Sometimes solo br
It's just... Chill
And I love having pve content during matches
definitely the best part about it
I remember i had this asian girl outside the house shoot at me. Then we were just swearing at each other for two minutes then the storm was approaching we both said goodbye to each other then laugh and went our separate ways
peak pubg experience beside people in the pre game lobby saying "china numba one" or some dude blasting euro music
Festival is only fun if you’re a normie
Festival is super boring to me
It's chill
Absolutely, prox voice chat should be a must have in all those kinds of games
Just sit back and play music
Often the same person
It is actually a thing in fn
Not in battle royale to my knowledge
It does but separate br mode
I get that, much better with friends who like/know the same music it just feels like such a slog to play for me
A limited time delulu mode does not count
Especially with the shit to mid chartings
I mostly play solo with fandoms
the only reason i got a gaming pc was because of pubG and i thought voip chat was the next move in gaming
You mean the mode that's always around?
That goes away for days and comes back? XD
Oh they made it permanent?
then all the games went rated E for everyone DX
Out here playing with whole communities
(Ik you meant randoms)
E for Ehhhh I'll pass
It bugs me with many modern games completely lacking any way of talking to other players like bruh
I despise when devs make F to interact
Personally I've rarely ever used prox voice
Ever
that doesn't bug me at all. I always turn off voice chat in games, I have 0 interest in speaking with or hearing other players voice comms
yeah nowadays i dont blame you
If I want to talk to my teammates, then I do it via my dedicated TS3 push to talk button
It's a multiplayer game, part of it is the fact that it's other real players if I wanted the bot experience I'd play with bots
Sea of thieves when a kid is crying about losing his loot was entertaining though
but back then you would have some funny interactions
I got the appeal and saw many funny videos, but I feel like most players just don't use it lol
The 20% entertaining and 10% endearing interactions don't make up for the 40% ear assault and 30% whining children
now its 50/50 and depends on the community
Oh god idk why but you gave me echo arena flashbacks
remember that one viral clip in fortnite. "REVIVE MEEEEE !"
Ok I will admit the proximity voice was amazing in vr
Id spend half an hour in the echo arena lobby chilling with random people
Lol ye

Mansen is making dinner

family guy characters in 3D is just cursed

ok, so i got a new keyboard (wooting analog one) and tried setting up warthunder to make use of the analog input it offers. so far i managed to get the forwards/backwards movement set up to work as intended, but for some reason or another steering simply refuses to work as intended and behaves in the weirdest way imaginable: at about 10-20% powe...
so yea, instead of wasting any more time with their forums i might as well post it here in case someone might have an idea about an actual solution^^
from what i've found personally. controller impute in the RB/AB game modes, while not having some form of controller/hosas/hotas selected in the settings causes controller imputes to be treated like keypresses.
this changes in sim at least for air sim controls where it will let you use mixed imputes despite having keyboard advanced selected as a control style in the set up wizard.
i haven't had my wooting for very long, and for me this works because i'm used to it, so i haven't looked much deeper into it then what i was able to find out my self in game.
the problem with selecting a controller in the wizzard is that you have to manually set every key bind after selecting it because if you go through the set guide it'll set you controls to keyboard advanced if most of your imputs are from the keyboard.
sadly since for a good 13 years of this games life ~30% of key binds, some of which are essential in some modes start unbound, the chance of gaijin fixing this is extremely low. especially since they ~3 months behind on looking at bug reports, let alone fixing them.
i should clarify, that i only changed pitch/yaw/roll on aircraft.
it worked at first. but after reloading the game it switch to a like 70% dead zone for the key press, where after it would let me fine control the axis like a stick to about 35% of travel before slamming to max impute.
i was able to get it to work like what you would expect an axis too, but only after toggling through controller imputes and fullreal/mouse aim. it would last though, and would fix its self every time i loaded a new test flight or match, that wasn't using full real or in sim.
idk if this helps, or its just the "same problem. same problem..." meme, but it was worth a shot.
the thing is, the controller input works perfectly fine for forward/reverse movement and the axis are shown as working as well so i simply don't understand why my tank is behaving the way it does, only when it comes to steering, as in moving forward when i want it to turn at slow speed and at half strength it behaves like a regular keypress
so yea, i've set 2 different axis manually, one axis for forward/reverse which works as it should, and one for left/right steering and that makes my tank move in totally absurd ways compared to how it should be
oh and the funniest part is, the control settings interface when going to the bind key details actually shows the axis as fully working from -100% up to +100% at the full length of it without any jumps or anything
like the settings seem fine to me, no dead-zones or anything, just had to invert the steering axis since that was the first weird thing about it but was fixed that way^^
okay. some i've done some testing.
first in the tiger tiger, then 122b+ and lastly the t-72b3
all three do the exact same thing you described on the 122b+ once i start neutral steering i can somewhat adjust how fast i'm turning, but not much. while tiger tiger and t72 (which doesn't have neutral steering) function the exact same.
here is what i think is happening.
when you press a movement key. the auto gearbox system activates, shifting you into first gear, instantly putting you into a roll. which means now you are fighting the many different traction "features" in the game. only once the rpm/horse power is enough to overcome these "features" are you able to neutral steer. which is what i think is giving the wall effect feeling
now the tiger tiger doesn't have enough hp/t left over once it gets to this point, to allow fine control. the t72 doesn't have neutral steering, and ends up doing the same thing. the 122b+ just has enough hp/t left over to allow some turning speed adjustments but not much.
the problem its self is two fold.
first is the in game auto gear box control. which is trying to get you to go forwards when a movement control is pressed.
the second, is/always has been a problem with neutral steering in game. tldr is it isnt modled correctly, and is based of the fake neutral steering of tank the t72/t90, since tracks are technically tires in the game engine.
i didnt really know if it was that second one for sure at first. so i didnt bring it up. (to much faith in the snail i guess)
its also not common knowledge, and factchecking it is probably impossible now that the old forums are gone.
the only tank that i can get it to work properly on is the strv 103. which is the only tank that i can think of that has true neutral steering irl, but i think its and acceptation not a rule, due to the hull aiming mechanic.
(technically most modern tanks don't have true neutral steering. that's separate mountain to climb.)
thing is, whenever i floor the movement completely in one go it turns at the same speed as when it's at 50%, but never moves forward in the slightest, like it instantly starts turning on the spot instead of powering up first and then turning
and actually all of the tanks i tested it with have (and historically had) neutral steering, tigher H1, panther, jagdpanther, panther II, leopard 2 and all of them behave the exact same as described instead of giving me any control over their movement, they go from a slow crawl at 10-20% input to a fullspeed turning at about 50% input
like no matter if i push down 50% or 100% there's no change at all anymore
oh and everything in arcade settings, so the engines have way more power
in sim in the tiger tiger i get 3k rpm but only 2900 in arcade for some reason. there is probably a hard limit to turning power thats here as well could also be a reason
i simply don't see how that would translate to crawling forward and then suddenly stopping and turning at full speed right away instead of giving me any kind of steering speed control
gaijin code moment probably.
which makes me wonder even harder about this is, how no console player or pc players that use controllers ever complained about WT having a stroke like that
in the most oversimplification tanks are coded like 4 wheel cars that can technically turn on the spot... technically.
because most probably are used to it, or slam the throttle/stick when turning. there is usually no reason not to.
i mean i searched for similar topics before posting that issue and didn't dfind anything besides like 1 post from 2016 that was only remotely connected
