It's Vintage Story. Think Minecraft but it's like you're running a stoneage/bronze/iron age mod.
You don't punch trees for wood. You find flint on the ground, knap it into shape and fashion a primitive flint axe and knife.
To cook food beyond a stick on top of a bonfire, you have to dig for and shape clay, then fire it in pits.
Leatherworking and Metalworking are very involved, multi step processes 😄

@maiden tulip 1.5 hours into SHF, the story is really captivating I really like how it brings you in. About the combat, it’s not as bad as people make it out to be. Don’t get me wrong it’s not good but it’s not terrible. It wouldve been better if they got rid of the freeze frames on strike and if the dodging felt more natural and realistic instead of leaping 10 feet any direction with the press of a button

All of the server factions were given a little plot to show off their style and do a recruitment drive. Last day of this season, and then a short hiatus while the admins set up a new season.
