The gameplay is very much still "imperial invaders" style, with no real Fremen gameplay (from what I understand)

At least the skill system is pretty open ended. You have four main classes themed to the game, but you can unlock and mix and match them after getting to a certain point.

Like mixing the Gene Besserit psychic stuff with being a sniper trooper.

I play a game "secured" by an unlicensed/half-assed EAC (RageMP) and it's unreliable af. The only things it ever blocked were graphic mods (reshade notably), causing more issues than protection. It's the Norton AV of anti-cheats.

Yes but that requires actual work, much easier to just throw in some anti-cheat and call it a day.
Honestly I think for linux users, may sound harsh but would accept just having to use phone verification or some other payment provider verification.

End of the day the biggest problem with cheaters is the effort they have to go through to get back in after getting caught is not that high. The moderation to just catch them is not that good. free2play or cheap games only made that worse.

I am pretty sure in any decent game a cheater will get caught, if it's a pain to get back in that would help a ton.
