Stadia's controller does have really nice dpad, but it's a tad too clicky for me, not as smooth as on Xbox pad or DualSense

Though I've also had plenty out of bounds, where troops have been pushing through walls and into the void, leaving the siege impossible to finish.

When I played, you started in Germany? and fought big orc brute characters (leading to a big boss battle on the roof of a ship some twenty hours in), it also felt a lot more Fallout with run down bases and structures. Essentially PS5 can emulate almost all PSX games, about PS2 games - some are ported, some you can stream, with PS3 games you can also only stream some of them

nonsense, it looks to be graphically a lot more demanding than 1 and I guess they have some complex systems going on in there, just look at the studio size evolving from 11 to 250 so it's bound to be different performance-wise
