switching over from 4mm travel switches to 3.5mm two_stage spring helped quite a bit with consistency

honestly, optimizing binds improves the control and comfort of what you can do and allows you to push further/faster with retaining the same control. This goes in anything, even cars. Most people use right foot braking right? but that is sub-optimal because you need to lift from your accelerator to the brake which has a delay. left foot breaking is just faster and lets you have more control and gives you confidence to do maneuvers, thatyou would never dare to take with right foot braking.

Since its a controller game (kb/m sucks in horizon the control scheme really sucks) i use afmf

To get to like 160ish fps

Before you say just use fsr quality/xess to get more frames i just hit a cpu wall at 90fps because of my 9700k also anti aliasing is already not great in this game so lowering the res on top isn't great

It's my only gripe with the game

Kb/m controls still are iffy for this gsme just like the first not unplayable by any means just controller feels better for this

And still no good AA options

Everything else is rock solid

Somehow, DD2's quest design and world simulation is a step back from the first, and that's a shock, because they weren't really good in the first lol.

So I had quest earlier where I had to break this guy out of jail right? So like, I should sneak past the guards with a uniform, get inside, get his cell key, and sneak him out? Makes sense, yeah?

Well except all I had to do was walk into the jail cell, take the key from the guard(in his face), unlock the jail cell and walk the guy out by the jailers as they just stood there.

This is exceedingly common in this game, many mechanics are also busted beyond belief. You can kill the entire town if you so wish, with no downsides, nor anyone actually aggroing you.

Sometimes escort NPCS will also randomly respawn at their start location, even if that's an hour away(No fast travel), and it's not understood why they suddenly randomly teleport back.

There's obtuse shit too, like you can go to sleep and randomly one of your pawns will go mad with Dragonsplague and kill the entire town while you sleep, locking you out of progression until you grind for Wakestones to bring back the relevant NPCS to progress the game. It takes hours to get just one.
