This first boss reminds me of the Deus Ex ones - The ones that were universally panned for not catering to more than "shoot them up" playstyles.
Fight is way too long, has way too many moving parts that completely negate melee of any kind - and the bot has some real nasty moves that can just straight up one shot you, resetting the entire - way too long - fight.
