palworld comes with the server tool and you just gotta download it and open it to start it up (theres other port forwarding shenanigans ofc, but thats not that hard). we actually use a third party manager called haruhost which adds a UI with buttons for restarting, starting/stopping, scheduled backups/updates/restarts, updating, and discord integrations for server status.

naw, mostly price politics. I stayed away from the first cause the fanbase struck me as the kind of people who I don't want to play with. that kind now hates the refresh/regurgitation so when steam got it I started playing

one group i played with was bad at the slow game. you knew they'd commit to one spot fairly quickly.
if the enemy figured that, they retreated a bit, while the rest rotated quickly.
in return when they picked a spot, they just acted defensively. as t. because my group would inevitably charge through instead of staying defensively.

I stopped playing with random people mostly. The matchmaking is bad for a lot of games. Like on Warzone for example I had a near 3.kd on Warzone 1 and 2 and it matches me up with new players and they don’t do anything at all. It’s the same with halo halo is almost the worst and fortnite

Yeah, I feel you on that. I hang around. Small group. Don’t get me wrong though I’ve met some cool people online. One guy I used to play Xbox live with I’ve been playing with him since 2006 and he was in my cousins wedding. We still talk till this day. Same with another dude I play with.
One thing I noticed though. Is a lot of cheaters now in general. It kind of sucks. I didn’t play Warzone in a week and the first 2 games I was put in was with cheaters they dropped 40 kills with extreme aimbot but they were banned in game

You can put down traps that catch Pals if they walk into them.
Your bases will be attacked by one wave of random mobs every so often.

One issue - A lot of Pals are larger than doorways, so they get stuck. So you have to fight the urge to build a fort.

Larger gates exist, but only for exterior defense.
And I can't recommend doing what I show here. The gates will glitch out and appear open, when closed. And every time I log on, I have to pick up Pals stuck in walls outside and bring them back in.

On another note just gave up on Dave The Diver because i just didn't feel up to the grind maybe i'll pick it up once again with a handheld, it's a nice game but just don't feel the need for it atm. 😴
