A lot of those effects need to look a very specific way to work with a cartoon-like visual presentation. You wont be getting photo realism anywhere, except realistic shaders for water, weather effect and shading reflecting the very expressive, over the top art style.

DD1 absolutely killed my enjoyment when I realized one simple factor: the world map was tiny
I finished first 2-3 quests, did the bitterblack isle for a bunch of hours
Got pretty damn highly leveled and with good stuff to boot
But the game kinda felt a bit empty, and the grind for a singleplayer game was kinda insane
Bitterblack had an insane difficulty curve, you could in theory skip most of the early levels or cheese them a bit, before you get thrown a mega hard level mandatory boss that if you ain't high enough level, go fuck yourself
Dogma had nice combat, leveling was a bit dumb, world map was way too small, quests were alright
Exploration in Dogma was kinda non-existent, no place existed that you wouldn't otherwise visit in a quest of sorts
You'd have to make this at least 4x the size to be cool to explore lol
Skyrim spoiled me on exploration, absolutely everywhere there were places to explore

Could've used the wrong UV band
They used a UV lightsource that was far too intense and far too close to the crowd. No doubt they used only the visible purple light to figure out intensity without realising how much invisible UV existed
Biggest mistake was because they didn't have a high point to mount the UV light, they mounted them to the stage and aimed them at a low angle towards the crowd
Finally none of the stagehands were trained on lighting, so of course they made all the above mistakes

ik the ps3 let you transfer photos to usb just fine but the system was designed with multimedia in mind, its closer to a bluray player / device that can connect to NAS than all the other playstation consoles that came after
so naturally the ps3 can play videos and view photos directly off of a USB

With easy modding I was browsing the internet, watching anime and tv shows downloaded to the harddrive, and I had a hundred games installed ready to boot up. Never needed to plug in a disc ever again.
