Every few months you get another wave of 'Flying MAX suits' that crop up during off-peak hours.
And the lack of in-game moderators at that hour means they run riot for over 6 straight hours before they're finally banned.
Corporate higher ups don't even play the game franchises they own, so of course they're bloody clueless as to what sort of value that proper in-game moderators add to their bottom line. All they see is another expense.

Also a start but interesting case is Battlebit Remastered, they use Easy Anti Cheat but are getting a team together to actually catch cheaters partially based on stats
The point is a generalist anti cheat will never be enough, it requires more work than just relying on tools.

Battlebit actually planned to use something as bad named FaceIt but are now working with them for a version that has non of those stupid system restrictions and even looking to get it to work with linux.
If it ever comes to it. As they did enable linux support on EAC when they used it and that resulted in a decent linux / steam deck population that would be bad to just get rid off.

Development for a game like that is unlikely to be funded in the current era, from what I can tell.
Rather, when the devs started working with the GeoMod 2.0 engine (which Guerrilla uses), they had to straight up learn some measure of architectural skill.
Because structurally unsound buildings would literally collapse under their own weight once placed in-game.

I know F2P is a big model, that gains customers, but at the same time cheaters can just make new accounts infinitely. At least if the game charged like a $5 fee then cheaters would feel a hit to their wallet

Usually dks is considered a macro so if RuneScape bans for macros then probably yes
Would they be able to tell if you're using it though is another question, this feature isn't done with software but rather it's built into the keyboard so the only way it could be detected is if they notice a pattern
