It's the wooting Premium Cable Set. The keyboard works with the default cable that comes with it but not with the premium one. No rgb nothing when in the keyboard. I tried plugging it directly into the PC and into a power outlet.

It’s a bit raised from the USB C part of the pcb when fully seated in the case

tray mount works same for v2 (if you buy the module), and friction fit depends on the particular case

for example optimum, holy60 and tofu redux are the 3 most popular non stock cases for 60he v2, all 3 support friction fit

geon leggera does not support friction fit though, so it just depends on the case
