If you lube to the point that it feels mushy or slow, then Q-tips are your friend.

wootility (and other programs like it) can read how deep any key is being pressed (if the firmware and hardware have that information), using an API you would be able to make a game based on that mechanic

Yeah it's important to separate the two.

We have an official API any game developer can use to tap directly into the analog measurements our keyboards do.

But until they do all we can provide is a fake controller that does the same, but comes with the limitations of telling the game you're using a controller - such as sometimes disabling keyboard or mouse inputs, or changing between controller and m/kb rapidly, causing FPS drops.

Yeah I'd definitely buy the Wooting cable as a known good on a custom build.

But the boards (or fully assembled keyboards) all come with a cable.

Theoretically any USB-C cable of equal or lesser length would work with the wootings.

But only if that cable actually meets spec. (Which is why the Wooting cables are a known good.)

And if it's just color, the white or black would probably go nice with the optimum

I think the jades are mostly considered a bit outdated by other switches now. You might look at the Tikkens.
