Can’t speak for the gt-80 but my zinc case ended up showing signs of wear (coating coming off where I rest one of my fingers). Support’s been great though and zinc case is quite a quality product so I’d still recommend it.

Final mouse products are decent if you can get one that doesn’t suffer quality issues. Unfortunately, the general sentiment is “when it breaks” not “if it breaks.” But their software is one of the best on the market and source many of the top end mouse components.

im not gonna get into semantics over sensors, i just wanted something comperable to something like the logi superlight but for not that 160 for micro usb. but the software was a massive selling point none of it would stick when i would restart my pc it would crash and not save or not have profiles work etc etc. my friend has a wooting and once he showed me wootility vs synapse and chroma is a absolute no brainer

Not everyone uses the same parts. Like they could’ve done a different sensor (although I think they’re still doing 3395 instead of 3950…but it’s still good), different switches than pink dots, etc. But in the overall package, they picked decent parts. I will say, the shell is fairly brittle and the mouse is overpriced, but there are worse mice out there for sure. And arguably, you’re also paying for the software suite. Feel free to refuse to buy one (I’m right there with you), but it has its merits.

Depends highly on the mouse and it's feet. Because if you have glass or ceramic feet, going with glass pad aswell is a terrible decision.
However alot of comp gamers use glass pads with some custom PTFE or whatever skates.
Otherwise you have Artisan pads that are high quality japanese fabric iirc.

On the 80HE there's a cable inside that is sometimes loose, which could cause an issue like this. But on the 60HE there's nothing like that. It should just be able to factory reset and work - and if that doesn't work, it might be - as the kids say - cooked - and need a warranty replacement.
