It reminds me of those housefire setup posts
see, all those benefits from the cable is immediately gone at the connection LMAO
if the cable even works in the first place
its just copper smh
Should i rather go for Lian Li vector v100 or be quiet 900dx?
Fractal Define 7
it's nice that discord kids are finding a new outlet in the wake of impending ID checks
Then they got beaten by a Russian kid using g502 given by their older brother.
Why even engage with someone who obviously didn’t pass any high school level of critical thinking
Negativity gets more views
Not anymore, it's a foam/rubber blend that doesn't stick worth shit lol
Since when
They still claim to be using urethane foam on their website, and I bought artisan pads just a couple months ago
Maybe it still is then, idk it doesn't stick at all for me lol
well where did you get that info from?
like I said earlier mid pads stick worse than the softer options, and you could also try cleaning your desk a bit and putting down a drop of water, then it should stick better
Google ai giving me bs
is that deskmat under the mousepad?
Secretlab, may totally be because of that as well
It is because of that most likely
They never changed their bases
Mid sticks worse yea, but a drop of water fixes that like Mega said
Yeah the bases is like one of the main selling points
I always use some water when I'm going back to Raiden mid
Google AI: “micro dosing bleach can be a great skin care routine!”
Google smart

so why is the grip coating $50
Bro I fucking hate them
They always do this stupid fucking shit

They did the same shit with the Pulse like 2 months later
Bro those cutouts look huge wtf
Oop, alr don't trust Google then lol
Chat do i buy a 30g CF DAV4
dxracer
Why?
the poron bases stick really well if you add a bit of water first
It doesn't stick well without water for me
Might just be a mid thing because my raiden soft sticks likr a mf
Then theres my xsoft zero that basically needs a pry bar to get off

Yeah, it's probably because of mid + my desk sucks
I think I may try glass next, only because it has a silicone base
make sure to get double the water for key83
Just got my superstrike in and I gotta be honest this thing feels pretty nutty
Hows the side buttons are they improved?
nah, same gpx side buttons but I like the gpx side buttons so i dont mind
my spare chair
would you really think i'd be playing in that back killing mess?

I like the FR on the velour
rather than a peak at 6khz, it has a rise and a slow fall after that with a more controlled air
also the treble deviation after 3khz to 8khz is like +-3db, which is pretty nice for me.
I could genuinely get this headphone as a thing that I sweat on while playing rhythm game, considering how it might be built with that in mind.
the reviewer only tested it with the leather pads, aww.
What
Are you okay? Do i need to call 911?
dont get me wrong obviously I like the side buttons on my fk2 and x2h or really any other side buttons way more because yes objectively the pre travel on the gpx is ass
but it doesnt bother me nearly enough to detract from it
I dont mind em
real
Wlmouse Ying in magnesium, 749 / 849 yuan
Why
you got your superstrike in right? how are you liking it?
liking it a lot
still room for "improvement" obviously
but will be my main
u got the superstrike from logi?
yup
Good for gaming
how does it feel and how is the config setup? i have one otw i js wanna know more abt it from a second hand ykwim
that white with the ink looks amazing
i saw a review and the huan dongle has a microphone and doesnt show any useful information at all
feels a bit weird at first but i really like it
lots of stuff to adjust it your liking
he dongle is mainly used to display waifu's or some obscure character. And if you don't speak mandarin, the voice feature is kinda bricked
ow2
oh hitscan is gonna feel great
waifus is a W but what a shit dongle
wouldve wanted to see battery percentage
They still using old MCU, also 47g meh :/

Hey everyone - what are some good high refresh rate IPS panel monitors at 1440p - maybe something thats like 300hz without any OC? or 320?
I currently have a 180hz alienware monitor (AW2725DM) but since I am working on upgrading my setup i am wanting to grab a second monitor so that I can convert my table into a work and gaming setup. I would go with OLED however, a lot of my work involves static images which have a white background so the burn ins would occur fairly quickly especially at 8 hours a day of usage minimum. I also dont want to consider something like 240hz as I don't think the jump from 180 to 240 would be noticeable? If I'm wrong here I am more than happy to expand my searches to 240hz.
I have been researching for a bit myself. However when I see something I am interested in, then check reviews for what I think is the same monitor - the reviewers show results for different hertz. Obviously I am looking at the wrong monitor. But I am struggling to see reviews of the particular monitors that I am after. I am mainly trying to look at the ghostings and the response times for these monitors.
An example of a monitor thats caught my interest at the moment: https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/monitors/27-33-inch/122298-xg27acms
My current list of games are things like Destiny, Fortnite, Valorant, Arc Raiders and CS. While for single player I am going to be starting on games like assasins creed shadow and cyberpunk. I am currently playing NFS Heat and Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
My current PC Setup: 7800x3D and 4070 Ti Super, 32gb RAM.
Budget is around $500 AUD. But I also want to say I am in no rush so if there is something above my budget I will bookmark them and keep an eye on them for the End of Financial Year sales where goods tend to go on sale with a nice discount.

Budget?
There are some mini led ips monitors but they go for a lot more than $500aud
Is there a known date for when optimum keycaps for the 60 he v2 split are going to be available?
There is not.
any1 that had IEM's cuz i got new IEM's and my ears starrt hurting after like 30/50mins
You are either wearing them incorrectly, wearing ill-fitting tips or they have a nozzle that is too big for you or the shape is overall not a good fit
How do i check which one it is
Thanks to Sony Electronics for sponsoring this video! You can check out the Sony WF-1000XM6 at: https://lmg.gg/wf1000xm6
The long awaited Sony WF-1000XM6 earbuds are finally here. They have numerous improvements like 8 noise cancelling microphones, a new processor, and a re-designed shape that makes it 11% slimmer.
Want us to unbox something? ...
Not my sound
$329 is not it though
Very meh
Fr. Even has a dip on 6khz which not a fan of
I still don't like the «preference bounds»
I feel like they are misleading, but I suppose you could argue not having them could also be misleading to someone if you don't explain what they're looking at
I guess, you can manipulate the FR graph to make a spike looks like a dip lmao
My problem with preference bounds is that it seems to imply that as long as it's inside that it's «fine». But the bound are quite large and you can have two very different sounding speakers inside them that would fare very differently in listening tests yet since they are both within the bounds they are suddenly «fine»
iirc the preference bounds here are just showing upper and lower limits that were chosen in listening tests, right? But some will be more popular than others
wtf is that giant bass hump
I find it better to just have a single line without preference curves
i like a line so i can orient myself but i feel like it can be misleading for people that dont know what they are looking at
I prefer how Oratory's look
"it must be bad if it doesnt follow the line perfectly!"
He has a line, though it's somewhat thick which is fine
Yes that's the potentially misleading part about that too of course
Too large and too little on a lot of spot imo. I prefer if after 1khz it's just 5db bound and before bass has a mark that indicates what kind level of bass it is.
tho another issue with those graphs is that fr will be different for everyone due to millions of factors like head shape, ear shape, whether user is wearing glasses etc
would be best if you could just go to the store and try stuff for yourself
but thats not so possible over the internet sadly
Trying at the store is also potentially misleading for other reasons
i feel like my headphones sound different every month cause i dont cut my hair for a while sometimes

Wearing glasses and breaking seal generally results in a roll-off in bass and potentially a slight bump at higher bass frequencies
Solderdude takes measurements of headphones with broken seal
Less in open-back headphones. Here's the HD800S for example
It just ||has no bass regardless of perfect seal or not
||
@round lagoon your headphones if you were curious
HD490 Pro
I dont really care that must about bass below 40-60hz so it's fine.
In the LTT video where DMS came to shill Abyss he says the AB1266 is «flat down to 7 Hz» but then the measurements (by Innerfidelity) look like this:
Lmao

DMS says so much bullshit in this video
I think part of why is because he claimed he wasn't even going to be there for the duration of it, but Linux told him to come over
So DMS wasn't prepared at all and so contradicts himself and says other nonsense
Mad. Where are the €80 mobo
ill need to figure out what mic to get for the new gaming setup
i calced 200-300eur for one atm but not even sure what to get
With XLR or with USB?
xlr
i calced with the price of the nt1000 i got
(cant get it in black anymore sadge)
Get Shure SM58, same capsule as 3x the price of SM7b
Should be ~120€ or thereabouts
hmm I like the shure ones
then i can just get an xm8500
cant i
sounds apparently quite close to the sm57 and sm58
costs 20bucks

loool dude i got one that cost 7
I have a stupid trusty handmedown Yeti Blue
its a lapelier mic standing on my desk on a cardboard stand
I want to be more informed on mics, I know nothing about 'em
also what i really struggle with with my nt1000 is that the cardioid is kinda shit to work with sometimes
idk how that would work out with a mic that (i think) has its main capture zone on the top
not the side
well gotta plan with a budget for stuff i know works. doesnt mean i wont buy cheaper if i cant
yeah its on the top
idk how to handle this with a mic arm tbh
(i guess thats why pod cast mics got popular)
I love my wave dx with the xlr dock addon
Think i lost like 3k today already on some shit anyway, mic's just not a priority
Just point it towards you
hm maybe im just too scared because of how heavy the nt1000 is
it really bends the spider mount
I just got the ol $20 mic arm
I love the low profile arm I got, so nice compared to the cheap aah one I had before
i shock mount cause i dont want all my moving and such from the arm and banging on it on accident to be picked up so hard
AYO I have the exact same one
I just turn on noise suppression and none of those noises come through
My mic arm is more than my mic lol
but i think i got my setup then
psa1+, sm6 mount, triton fethead, some xlr cables (prob sssnake ones cause easy to disassemble), xm8500, scarlett solo 4th gen
I think that's the case for me too
maybe ill chuck in another set of xlr to replace the 6m cable i got from idk where or why even
brooo
I have a 6m cable too 💀
it was the cheapest one available when I was shopping or smth
shorter one was out of stock
i think the 6m i got might have been a bundle with the mic
I just have the elgato cable, it's surprising decent quality and seems to work just fine lol
my mics like 40cm from my interface but I'm using 6m of cable
same but with routing my cable inside the arm and then under the table to the interface id prob just need like a 1m (maybe 1.5) for in the arm and then another 1m to connect to the interface. bridged by the fethead
I "borrow" pretty much all my cables from work
yeah
I got some Behringer 1.5m xlr cable for 10€, is really nice quality
all i care about in xlr cables is connectors for me
the cable itself is dead simple and idk how one would fudge it up
Totally different topic, but I kind of want to buy one of those ltt cables lmao
I have the same one with a shock thingy for my yeti blue
You can have a nice soft cable or shitty stiff one
Behringer GMC-150 - this one I have
Droopy
I don't think hanging upside down changes anything
As long as it is angled sideways for cardioid
youll talk upside down my guy
unless youre in australia
Australian huh
then its mounted the right way
haha
ignore the wild ethernet cable it’s gonna get fixed
👍
coot sticker on PC
Which mic is that
Yeah I have the same arm but without Miku lmao
I bought 6 stickers from nukunukunigirimeshi but then I didn't know what to do with them so I ended up putting one on my pc
elgato wave dx (miku edition)
I wish they had done this colorway for the pro version of the arm instead of this regular one
but it's still a really nice arm
Oh wait is that the standard? I have the pro lol
yeah
Really hard to tell a difference
Not going to lie after using the pro it's nothing special
yeah but seems a little nicer with the gas springs instead of the usual knobs you gotta crank down
It'd be so cool if it didn't need an app running at all times on PC
It's only a gas spring on that second portion of the arm so I mean it's nice but you don't really mess with it hun
A ton
Just a bump on this one :v I got a recommendation already but still just wanting to get some more options :v
Hmmm it's got tubesss
Weeb
otaku
Literally
Wait I just learned I can use a student discount on linsoul audio...
Kiwi astrals here I come
wait what
how much off
Idk I'm just now learning about it
I need a student id card, I don't own a official id card
i got one but mina
Holy deal
i got a carrying case in my deal and it was cheaper than buying iems alone
It sucks
Or it's shiit I could say
Unsurprisingly
This is a review and detailed measurements of the Schiit Valhalla 2 headphone amplifier. It is on kind loan from a member. The Valhalla 2 costs US $349 from Schiit itself.
I recently measured the older and discontinued Schiit Valhalla. This is what Schiit says about the improvements:
As...
But funnily enough the distortion is still low enough to the point of inaudibility for me
(I owned the Valhalla 2)
Figured, tubes are just a funny gimmick
Mostly pointless obsolete technology like R2R
If I ever wanted tube amp, I'd want one of those gremlin tube amps
I'm a sucker for clear
Is it worth 120 hell no, is it sick? Hell yeah
id like to have something with nixie tubes cus those are pretty cool too
I bought a little nixie clock off Etsy, super neat and guy offers a lifetime warranty in case the tubes try to burn out
We're slowly just devolving back to the Samsung beans
Any small Micro ATX case recommendations?
I finally found out how to fully disassemble my stupid HP prebuilt. Plan to take this bih to college but hate how big it is
I figured at some point, worse sounding audio gear is like getting different flavours of food. It's a subjective thing where people just like really like aiding shit like liquid pain to their foods.
Yes I hate chilli peppers
https://lian-li.com/product/a3-matx/ Lian Li x Dan. You can even have a wood facia if you like trees and shii
scrap that, probably overkill for your needs
Got anything else I can look at then?

asus prime ap201, fractal pop mini, jonsbo d31
lian li a3 mini
the wood panel is the worst interior design trend atm
Fire thanks
DeepCool CH160 PLUS. It even has a handle so you can lug it to the beach
once again, probably overkill
but cheapish enough
Oh shi that's sick
it's optional and probably appeals to someone with floor to ceiling Scandinavian wood, who's name is Sven
sven johansson

I bought some Truthear x Crinnacle Zero Blue, thoughts on them ?
Good IEMs
Too big nozzles for me though, I have Arias with smaller nozzles and they are like just at the limit
i got their v2s on rn
love it
Same here, i own the blue 2's as well
honestly like the tuning on them better than the zero blue
personally
do you have the normal aria's?
Aria 2s
My friend has the aria 2 and i tried them out myself, pretty solid for what it is
can you put zero red on there as well
ye same here
Nope
There's just some gunk accumulating on the side when they are in the case, but it rubs off with finger easily
poor paint job quality by moondrop
zero red 2 when crin
Thankfully no issues yet, and I have them almost a year now
Crinear daybreak is technically zero red 2
DAMN
good for you bravo
im actually surprised
my friend only had his for like 7 months
month 5 it had a small chip already

gotta get the real thing till i believe it
use to consider the daybreak before my kiwi astras
good timing for me, had enuf moni
and bought the last yellow on amazon
well thats a steal
Wewt
but yeah we were just giving our own opinions here
I'm glad they seem to be liked!
mhm
I appreciate all of your opinions
I don't know too much about IEMs, but I'm eager to learn
gotta buy more and keep trying trust
im at my endgame for my age
dont got a job so dont got any money to buy another expensive set to consider an upgrade which would be the mangrid top pros for me
Ah
Rule of thumb - more expensive is not more better
Chi-Fi is amazing at this point and you can get really good IEMs for like 20€
well guess i can put this in a pipe dream then

Dont believe cable changes sound
I was looking for reds, but these blues were just such a deal
But you can use visual bias to trick your brain a little
gaslight yourself
My current IEM is a Chu 2
So I think the blues will be slightly nicer for me
Yuppers
I looked at reviews and they say the blues have a better bass than the chu 2
Cable does not change sound
Amp "headroom" is baloney
4.4 doesn't sound better than 3.5
And dac chip doesn't change the sound
I just want a upgrade in the technical specs of similar tuning with what i currently have or just get another pair with a whole different tuning
though i shouldn't worry about that right now myself cus i'm looking to buy a desktop dac
JDS element IV time
I wanna buy Varedis's ifi Zen Dac v3
Ooo

living up to the debtson name if i buy JDS element IV
lmao
I still wanna do 60hev2 build but money's tight
Good enough for the rest of your life
yea
but now i just want a desktop dac for my setup
so i can use dawn pro 2 elsewhere
i use to have the FIIO K11
but sold it cus i was low on money and desperate for a thumb size dac
Why don't you buy another thumb sized dac?
I'm looking forward to get another fiio qx13 for my pc and phone lmao
Has all the features and amp power i need
so like one each?
Yep
LMAO
argh fine i might consider getting another thumbsize
ig it would save me money.
Im a pro gamer, so buying another of the same is the safest option
gotcha
I'm not chinese so no angpao for me
No chinese relatives
well
Or friend
Yes
Dw, there's still hari raya, imagine CNY but for muslim. If you're muslim chinese it's legit min max money.

or any asian family that celebrate lunar new years really
I'm full viet and my family on both sides celebrate lunar new years
only got one chinese uncle
Nice
In any case. Next month should have funds again
But still wanna save up for my Singapore trip
I got this btw @lunar holly
I have the original zero blues and holy are they uncomfortable
I have this but my name isn't Sven because I'm not a Sweed
very cosy and there's even a forbidden fruit hanging from that tree 👀
Buy this and put it in the center of your room
Damn I wanted this mouse but $180 is a lot
black friday is far away
interesting dongle
I really really wanted the hype to be true....
BGM credit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6Htl-qnp-o
oh no it won't make you 30ms faster
another logiflop
where tpu test
Na this was the one I posted https://www.pulsar.gg/products/pulsar-es-fs-1
56g
the monotone voice and depressing choice of music, might have correlation to his dead ass reaction time smh
I need my mouse to be made out of hollowed out Styrofoam from now on
Yeah it has a 400mAh battery and designed to be more premium
its their esport lineup yep
no, what you need is a mouse with scandinavian wood
I can already tell this weighs like 236g

I think it's very funny if the superstrike bans are real
Probably response time is lower
Than the usual response time
But that's conjecture on my part
Let me guess - their shitty anticheat that doesn't stop cheaters got confused by new hardware, and EA suppot is EA support so it sucks?
Sounds like it
can someone please help. Im trying to decide what IEM to get. I'm debating between kiwi astral or XENNS Mangird Top Pro. I mostly play FPS games and just listen to music. not a musician or anything like that. Enjoy gaming and just browsing.
Astral.
Both are tuned very similar so there shouldn't be that much of a difference
If the line match, they're basically 1:1 this one is almost
Thank you. I ended up completely breaking my moondrop blessing 3 haha, so I'll go ahead and order kiwi astral. I heard good things about them and the price isn't that high
You might find astral to be bassier and cleaner treble wise
Thanks!
Basically the same. If there's a big price difference I'd go for the cheaper one unless there is a significant comfort difference etc. between them
Hey @round lagoon can you do me a small favor and compare the Chu 2 and the Truthear x Crinacle Zero Blue (v1) for me?
Aha! That I did not know
There you go
Chu2 would be more relaxed and warmer sounding. Also has better sub bass extensions.
But yeah, look at the lines. It tells you everything other than comfort, design, and durability.
@round lagoon what's the point of buying iem rather than headphones?
I'll be honest, I have no idea what the lines mean
I think this means the bass is deeper and the treble a little higher?
20~200Hz is bass, 200~2kHz is mids and 2kHz~20kHz is treble
squiggle tells you which frequency on a given headphone is louder
Y axis is dB (amplitude, how loud that frequency is
X axis is frequency

left to right is pitch (bass, treble and all that)
higher is louder
they all sound the same to me
More comfy with glasses, better noise isolation (lit an earplug with wire), easy to bring around, usually plentiful/comes in larger variety in price and tuning
Also member that hearing is logarithmic, so 10db change is twice as quiet or as loud
When looking at squig, add IEM that you usually listen. It can serve as a point of reference to see if another iem has more or less of something.
As long as the iem is popular enough. It'll have good chance of being in multiple squig. ex: Chu2, Daybreak, and Performer 7.
Time to make a website where you put your headphones and then it automatically applies EQ so that it emulates how different headphones sound
You can already do this on squig
Isn't that already a squig feature?
You can already do that with squig. Go to eq tab, select your headphone pick another headphone and make it a straight line. Press auto eq and it'll give you a preset for eq software
Just use a headphone squig as the target and the new your headphone to that target
But it's not perfect. You would have to measure them on your head and use software with lots and lots of bands/filters
Albeit it's not going to be perfect

Plus there are unit-unit variations
I dunno, I don't use squig
I mainly use peqdb studio now because of their better auto EQ algorithm
I just eq to preference... which is basically just matching the line to hd490 as best as I can with the least band.
I wish more people would use it, it's objectively better than most auto EQ algorithms I've tried
The algorithm is open source
Variations EQed to Astral
There's software that has like 200k bands that lets you perfectly emulate the sound of other headphones if you have the gear to do it. I don't remember what the software is called
Waow
One of my monitors wont turn on all of the sudden at the start of my pc, can anyone help?
Replug, check settings if it's on.
Anyone else think the G-Pro superstrike is overpriced garbage that seems like it’s trying super hard to “revolutionize” mice
I think its nice they are trying something new and dont get the unwarranted hate
Company does nothing and plays it safe “same garbage every year”
Company does something new “trying to revolutionize garbage”
No winning
I support any company willing to take a risk on a new technology
There hasn't been any meaningful innovation in mice in twenty years... Anything is better than nothing
Disclaimer: I haven't used the mouse, don't know a thing about it. Just googled it and skimmed the intro paragraph to two reviews
It looks interesting to me, if its executed well i think its good
I like the macbook touchpads a lot too
Meta
I think it’s just overall pointless, barely any difference in overall performance, no physical buttons just a vibration, and it’s $180
apparently its causing people to be banned in apex legends

Hmm fair point, I should amend the statement to say that I support risk taking by companies on new technology
You can have that opinion for sure, but why would you want physical clicks if haptic does the same thing but with longer lifespan and faster responses?
180$ is expensive but its a new tech and a new release from a big company which has people and r&d to pay for
Wooting is also really expensive no?
i dont like that it has haptics
Great news, you can turn haptics off haha
So you feel 0 feedback
i seen some peoples were being unboxed and were already broke too
alrdy did
Thats unfortunate but im guessing they got it replaced without issue?
And broken in what way?
that wasnt what i meant, i dont like that it has 0 travel
Yeah but wooting reputable, honest, high quality, and actually DID revolutionize the industry. Logitech is just the safest option for people who don’t know any better. Not that what they make is bad there’s just other companies that do it better for an arguably better price
If its done well u wont notice it though
So what other company is doing haptic competitive mice now?
That is not what I meant, just generalization of peripherals
But then u can generalize everything
And make every new thing irrelevant
Wooting is just a keyboard with keys and switches
And a board
U asked about the new mouse tech, not the company no?
I already explained why I disliked the mouse?
U asked this, arent we talking about that?
Yeah but then you brought up wooting so I made the argument.
If we were to take your logic and what you just said
Then why bring up wooting?
the left and right clicks were snapped out of place or something
If we were talking about mice
You literally make no sense in your philosophy and is trying to turn this around on me?
¯_(ツ)_/¯
I’m done with debate 😭
Sounds like a freak accident ngl
im guessing its just a bad batch of qc so
Cant find anything on that
uhh lemme try find the post, i could be misremembering
Apparently it is still physical clicks unlike the apple trackpad, you just dont feel them without haptics cuz its magnetic
Uh no, I dont think so honestly. I've been using it for a couple days now and I think it's actually really good.
The mouse community is funny though
they scream for months that theres no innovation in the hobby
and then logi drops this shit and all of a sudden theyre paying everyone to say its good and its just placebo
Because the superstrike isnt really anything crazy
Its not gonna make you a top tier player just like a wooting isnt going to make you a top tier player, but it is inherently an advantage if you can take advantage of it
I dont see how it offers a single advantage over my opticals
Also it weighs like 24g more than my mouse does :p
I'm not weight pilled so I dont really care about that, I used the pulsar crazy light, I use the zowie fk2, doesnt matter to me. If you cant notice the reduction in physical click latency I find that odd
My opticals already have 0 pre travel and extremely light clicks
youre allowed to not like it but its incredibly strange to me all the hate this mouse is getting
There isnt really any physical latency to notice a difference with
Its always interesting to me when people start a conversation with the intention to be willfully ignorant
your mind is made up
so why'd you ask lol
youre right, thats my fault
i cant wait for the chinese market to pick up this tech and everyone to start raving about it
Im all for new tech to push limits
But the hype people are giving this isnt warranted
If your on a mouse with shitty mech switch implementation sure
But good mechs/good opticals no
Also this
The main problem is, we hate logislop
Still has the same shitty side buttons, skates, shape, mid qc, and its expensive asf
And to top it all of its almost 70g💀
Lmaoooooo so like I said there's no changing your mind because you hate logislop so it could literally be the next coming of jesus but logi made it so it doesnt matter.
Also my fk2 is closer to 70g than this mouse is
I can put aside my hate for logi to respect the tech
The tech just isnt that exciting
🤷
I dont care about it on a logi mouse, I wont care about it on other mice either
I am not part of that majority lmao
like what is there to add to mice?
like I understand the technology in the superstrike and the "benefits" I just don't think it's all that crazy to justify the price lol
only thing I see is mouse button longevity increased
^
was logi pilled till i tried other mice outside logitech, and wont be going back to a superlight of any version
didn't see this but exactly this guy gets it lmaoo
I got my lamzu atlantis mini 4k for $100, had it for 3 years and I love it still
pairs well with my xxl xsoft hayate otsu v2!
the weight isnt even the main issue
i still use the g502 when i want more buttons thats thats all its used for
the 3 superlights i have all have issues, 2 from warranty replacements and just gave up after receiving the last one
rear hump sticks out like a sore thumb, much prefer the hump placement on the vv3p
I just said that!
had some hope of the superstrike at least changing the god awful side buttons but heard they kept it the same
whats so bad about the side buttons? been a while since I let go of my superlight
all I know is I can't go back
its just mushy and unsatisfying to use
LogiSlop
I do respect their lower end stuff but the "high end" stuff is genuinely not worth it
mostly in terms of mice
their keyboards will always be bad
i mean like surely you dont send warranty replacements and both break/develop issues in 30 days
One of my monitors just randomly stopped working, if anyone could help me please dm me or reach out to me.
dude my little brother bought a g305 from a local store and that shit just stopped working after a week
ill take them off your hands and blow them up in a burning bin with batteries
he ended up buying anothe one that actually worked because he got too lazy to refund it and spent like a couple of months w/o a mouse
only issues I have with my mouse is a little rattle due to the pcb getting a bit loose which i can just tighten up again I'm just deadass too lazy and a bit of creaking from the plastic if I squeeze it which isnt noticable at all cause of headphones
My phone is picking it up more than it actually sounds irl so it is very much exaggerated
Yeah I knew someone was gonna say that

love how wireless mice don't take long at all to charge
oh hell no, ts would annoy me like crazy 😭
man the m1 and m2 on the hitscan is so crisp
and arent loud asf like the viper but it feels ok
I literally don't hear it at all unless I try to 😭
I love the side buttons on my mouse
they sound and feel very nice
only thing dated about my mouse is the sensor but 4k polling is good enough lol
and the scroll wheel too
it's so quiet
no lol cs pros use logitech. Would they use it if it wasnt the best lol
(bait btw)
but the cs pros lol
You are so right!
Yeah if the pros get paid to use certain hardware that makes that hardware the best
You had the right amount of lols, I almost took the bait
But like the student diecount
Their high end stuff is just the low end stuff with different internals 😭
No
Depending how on shit your current mouse is, could be nice
If you already have a mouse with good optical implementation/mech switches like how op18k does it, its nothing to even care about
Still has all the logi issues, while being even heavier🤷
Also front heavy with those haptic motors in the front
how so?
Because any of the latency savings they talked about mean absolutely nothing
As there is already extremely low if any at all pre travel
And also very light clicks
why do you think they dont mean anything?
I really really wanted the hype to be true....
BGM credit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6Htl-qnp-o
watch this
so
to some degree this confirms what i thought of HE in mice
it doesnt help
maybe if you really need to spam left btn but i feel like dragging is so much better in that
Makes me want a high end oled even more
so uh, how much faster it was? he says slightly faster but I cant see what he got with the other mouse
Because all it really does is get rid of any latency from pre/post travel
a lot of good mice have next to none of anyway
Time to get one
I physically don't have space for one on my desk or else I'd want to get a tandom oled
new desk time
The 7 cents in my bank account in question:
also it's a brick
All the negatives of a gpx and even heavier
id imagine its quite front heavy now
I thought it was the same weight as the gpx2
How much heavier is it
It's 61g from spec sheet so basically the same as the gpx
Problem is the weight is all in the front
yeah I did see that in a review
I heard it was 68g
from AI?
From people talking about it
logi website says 61g
and they’re usually quite accurate or like 1g heavier than it is in reality
Just wait till I get 3d printer 😔
Schizo light incoming
This group is shit
Thank you ethan
Your welcome
doubt that
@wispy blaze most mice have like 1mm
Nobody is giving me any numbers. Just saying it wont affect anything or that most other mice dont have any pre/post travel. Which is just wrong. Every mouse has some travel
from what I hear if you're a casual gamer who doesn't have their mouse click primed already you will see more benefit - the reason this guy and others won't see benefit is because they do eliminate most of that pre-travel already
Would also depend on what mouse you have because some mice are already super minimal pre-travel
Nobody can eliminate pre-travel in ALL of the scenarios, everywhere, every day, in every situation imaginable. It's not possible to always pre-tense your fingers.
This might not help minimum latency that much, but certainly the median latency or reduce the standard deviation?
well if I'm honest most pro players don't care about click latency at all. Zowie doesn't care about click latency at all notoriously having 10ms+ worse than others for a long time and still used by many pros even now
They care, or would if they knew. And sponsor money > latency anyway, when its your job
thats why i specified good mice

my beastx has next to none
aint no mouse having 1mm of pre-travel
even my shitty free office HP mouse has maybe 0.3
And that's being generous
Measure it with a ruler
hard to measure that small
comparing the distance pressed on my keycap in wootilty to my mouse, it has about .1-.2mm
has anyone here tried the ninjutso ten air white version? does it still have that soft spot in the middle of the hump?
no not yet
I NEED HELP
zogslop
phones have had oled displays for like a decade. See much burn in?
i litteraly have burn in on my phone so yes
how is that possible
uhh just using the browser often lead to the adress bar burning in
I know some of my friends had the tiktok menu burned in
deserved
zogtok
My pixel 6 and old lg phone both have burn in
The lg's is really bad too
wtf
Those are like 1st gen/2nd gen amoled displays
The newer ones are much better
was tempted to light it on fire just to see if it would give pretty coloured flames
If anyone can help me in vc with why my second monitor will not turn on please lmk
so whats the issue with the monitor? and keep in mind no one is being paid to help you here
One day it just stopped turning on idrk how to explain it
Like I’ll plug it in and it will only turn on
But then when I take it out the other one stays on
tried different ports? different cables?
Yes
My main monitor is in HDMI
and my side I tried plugging into the other HDMI but didn’t work
you plugged it into your gpu tho? right?
Yes
so if I understand it correctly, your both monitors are plugged in, turned on, but only one of them is working?
and switching the cables and ports doesnt help to get the "faulty" working
What's the gpu and monitor specs, and have you got both of them to work in conjunction with each other before?
i unplugged one right now because when i plug them both in, only one turns on
5070, 2 msi 300hz monitors
Have you got them both to work before?
yes
Maybe this is dumb, but this happens to me sometimes and I have to put the correct input in the monitor so it reads the correct port input. Also. If this doesn't work maybe try the d port on the 2nd monitor, HDMI ports can fail easily in my experience.
you should pay me
nuh uh
@viscid bison holy glaze
The glaze is justified ngl
It does feel pretty insane
My friend got one
It feels really good
Maybe I should buy it
look at the weight
Maybe PMM does a shell
For 180$ that’s crazy
I’m just gonna get the Razer boomslang
I’ll get two 1 for gaming and 1 for internet browsing
Ngl I didn't notice that too much
But I use ftip soooo
smh you don't want to be 5ms faster?
🤯
Wooting mouse when

i'm sure it's decent enough but give me some unknown brand with an oversized dongle, that cost much less and comes with countless accessories that'll probably never see the light of day
mmm, prop gonna get a headphone stand soon, unlike before my table space is much more free
the 3.5mm on macbook is soo nice, I can forgo my dac since it drives hd490 pro very well.
so having a quick access would be nice

surely it's no coincidence that it rhymes with OP1
110 usd basically
on my phone and couldnt see that
i managed to brick my discord mobile trying to upload clips
reinstalling it to see if that fixes it
look at some of mine in #🎮│game or in the other server in clips
@viscid bison wanna see it?
sure
looks pretty neat! no waste of space or junk laying around like some dirty old garage sale
thats right

good tech shit mouse
been rocking g502 mouse for 5 years, looking to get something lighter. whats a good option?
I went from g502 to superlight 2 and i am quite happy with it
But i think this server is quite split on 50/50 loving hating logi mice
mm yh Ive seen superlight 2, an option for sure. I really just hate g hub, sometimes it doesnt detect the application thats running and doesnt adjust the profile
pulsar crazylight series
its just the shape isnt for most
but if it fits, it fits
beast x is what i use, really nice if u wanna fork the money
many here will qualify, take a peek
I mean if you just scroll up you’ll see hate for logitech without any basis xD
nah i hate on logi too lol
superlight 2 is what i used prev
fked my entire hand grip up
sometimes i still catch myself resting my pinky on the mousepad lol
🤔
the basis is complacency
Ignore, I love my super light 2 Dex
But I should probably disclose I got it because of a price error
Logitech does have way too many QC issues though....
I've had to rma two mice and 3d print repairs, however..... It took years before the latter.
Even if they have QC errors which is a valid drawback for logitech, ive always felt like they make up for it in customer support
How much did you pay for it? 😮
Was Logitech the company who wanted to do the forever mouse?
46 euro
Hmm, I wonder what happen if I give the hd490 more air
fr already pretty close to hd800s, so a light change is all that I need
also just realized, keeping the 3-5khz low gives the feeling of soundstage
also gives explanation as to why EQing Moondrop Old Fashioned to have its 2-4khz to match hd490 gives it feeling of depth.
First impression. it's too shouty lmao
Hmm, reducing it by 1db tames it down enough. I like it. (Testing with the mixer pad, which is like refined hd560s in terms of sound signature/tuning).
what I settle on. Between 5 and 7, 6 is the best imo. Makes the headphone sounds more natural (to me). I didn't expect for the difference to be massive though between the 3. 5 feels like almost no EQ at all, 6 is just right, and 7 feels like there's too much.
The 1db lsq for 1000hz is there to add body to the note, adding the air kinda removes the body of an instrument a little

Hmm, still prefer the default tuning. Although the extra air gives nice extra details it makes the vocal sounds too much like it's on a stage.
this gent is way ahead of the curb, fk is this thing on the left? - oh my
ahead of the curve
They all look burnt
your speech input ai messed up
i'm well aware of ever idiom that's ever existed, but thanks anyways
But you said it wrong though
i say a lot of things wrong, it ain't that deep smh
I love my herman miller chair
same
it's pretty good but my arm rest pads are starting to look like an old sandal, that's trekked through the sahara desert 😭
thats why I clean my chair every month or so
I know this thing
Its the new version of the titan 1
Also giga low production and 3d printed titanium
This one doesnt have a scroll wheel tho
the cable placement looks awkward and would be nested under your thumb, being dragged around. Kinda hard to visualize how that might impact movement
From what my buddy said with how you hold it your thumb kinda floats over it
ah makes sense
That's lighter than a fucking neurolink chip lmao
Idk, but I want it
Next thing is gonna be like "8 grams made from aerogel"
However theres only like 20-30 in the world 😭
Holy it's tiny
And 330 us smackaroonies too
Iirc they are all made by a single Danish dude
its the most claw ftp mouse tbh
claw involves some amount of support from the back of your hand though
this aint even possible to grip like that
i mean it requires you to arch your fingers in order to hold it properly
especially if you use the short LMB
What's stopping me from buying some aero gel and carving it into a mouse
The fact a block big enough is over 650 is...
can aerogel mold?
I think? I know the only reason it's so expensive is because it's a pain in the ass to make
Why do people say this nonsensium
Oh the skates on Pro x2 superstrike is UHMWPE
Not ptfe
great
Don't have to switch umhwpe dots myself
Gesundheit!
I'm really debating on one of those glass mousepads...
dont think the stock ones will hold up as well as dots
Got one for christmas and I cant ever really see myself going back to cloth
wat
its like a weirdly fast uhmwpe
if u dont see any wear its umhwpe
What one?
ah prob blend then
yep pure would be pretty bad for cloth
I have the superglide 2 so not nearly as much glide as some of the wallhack stuff
maybe this one is more for having a cloth option with higher longevity or sum
little bit more control which I prefer
i use umhpwe dots on my cloth

Yea but apparently badly rounded
Gotta emphasised for effects
im going back to cloth

After three mousepad editions and a lot of development time, we’re ready to share our latest mousepad project.
︀︀
︀︀The goal was simple: stop forcing people to choose between cloth or glass.
︀︀Glass pads offer a firm surface and a consistent, low-friction glide.
︀︀Cloth pads offer control, friction tuning, comfort, and slower skate wear.
︀︀
︀︀Our solution: a cloth surface paired with a very firm elastomeric high-density polymer base that we call the Quantum Base.
︀︀
︀︀The result is a mousepad with a stable, glass-like foundation and the controlled, nuanced glide of cloth.
︀︀
︀︀No compromises. More soon.

Audiophiles in a nutshell
Yeah, I betcha they used noise-screened oxygen-free copper Ethernet cables in the background
The test gear just wasn't resolving enough
Is that a sweat stain?
that chair loois very uncomfortable
Most gaming chairs are
im interested in getting a new mousepad and so far i heard artisan mousepads are better but also heard glass is better for longevity like wallhack and i cant choose since im used to cloth
Do you play competitively or just for fun?
I would start using artisan raiden first if you’re interesting in using glass.
If you’re coming from a generic mouse pad, then glass is going to be a BIG jump
i feel like this is an overexaggeration
coming from someone who went from a qck heavy to a wallhack sp 004
It’s not, qck heavy and my random hyperx mud pad isn’t a 1:1 comparison
using glass pad is shooting urself to foot
it’s still kinda a generic mousepad
what games do you play
rn i started castle crashers with friends, but i usually play overwatch and kovaaks
my artisan pads are out for delivery rn
I don't think it's overexaggeration, if they play tac fps games
glass pad from a mudpad is a little crazy
idk what a mudpad is if im being honest but ill take your word for it
my glass feels like mud
all mousepads kinda just feel the same lowkey
is there mud on it 😅
no
hmmm
i think its because dry air so theres a a shit ton of static electricity
other than that it just doesnt make sense
it only feels normal when its slightly moist after cleaning
damn they are speedhole maxxing now
but the black skates leave no glue residue anymore :o
are we seriously making fake gear reviews with ai?
Mode68HE by @AkkoMK Sound Test.
These switches are not new to me, and they are probably my favourite in the budget category - light, responsive, well-lubed. There's some wobble, but nothing of concern.
what the hell is this guy doing
why is the keyboard warping when hes typing

new waterbed keyboard
anything to get free products i guess
They had to run that through a site to check if it was ai?
Its obvious just looking at it
you need proof to fuel a proper hate mob
the site probably uses ai to look for ai too
Tbh these sites are not perfect
But based on the video it's obvious lol
God what are these worm avatars
Welcome to the Tak zone
Anyone tried the "Pulsar
X2 CRAZYLIGHT" good bad? I like a wireless mouse, around 38-45g that can do 1-2k polling rate (im sure they can all do 8k too but thats doesnt matter to much for me) also price doesnt matter. Any tips?
Crazylight is solid, but ultimately shape is very subjective and that's still the most important factor
Ive been using the wlmouse beast x magnesium one for a year now and like it pretty ok. But the battery is giving up. Tought i check if there is something els out there to try
I saw that new logitech mouse all over, but 61g heavy is not for me 🙂
i saw the HITS superstrike myself and some of us are waiting for brands like pulsar to make their own soooo
hopefully later in the future they will make a mouse like logitech but with their shapes and lightweight designs
i have the x2 CL myself, i love it, but not too fond with the battery drain with 8k but 2k and 4k works just fine for me
shape wise like hopper said, its very subjective
i went from claw grip on a atlantis og v2 pro to an aggressive claw grip on this mouse since its sort of small but now i use full on fingertip grip on this thing and its doing me wonders personally
Thockson define aggressive claw grip vs normal claw grip😭
Like is this some sort of status effect
@lunar holly thank you for the good answer. I till ill order my self the x2 crazylight and check it out. It does seem pretty sweet. They had some "bruce lee" team in stock of it. Looked alright
thockson snorts smelling salts before a game to increase claw grippage
Apperently that was the mini, id go for the medium 🙂
lmao
I mean normal or relaxed claw grip is just where the palm relaxes on the hump of the mouse with the fingers having a low arch whereas aggressive requires more of an higher arch with less palm contact.
Correct me if im wrong
iirc there's even finger layouts for this shi as well
Uhh I bought a mouse cause it looked cool😭
i need a full on ftip mouse like the zero blade or some claw grip that i can relax on
