Hey guys just got my 60he v2 prebuilt. A friend of mine if gonna give me his kbdfans gt60. Would it be possible to friction mount the v2 to the gt60? Thanks in advance!

You need to screw in one screw at least for ground. Usually the one near the usb c connector

Hi guys, have some questions about 60hev2. I have a plastic version in black color but want to change it for aluminum one. So I can't decide about some pick's. First is it any difference in pre-build and module variants? And can I fuck up the keyboard while assembling it. Second what do you guys prefer more black or silver color and regular or split spacebar? What cons and advantages which variant has?

so i have this board on a metal tofu, and even if i have the grounding screw in, and i build up some static and touch it, the static still runs through my system and flickers my monitor.. is this normal? I thought the screw was supossed to prevent electrostatic shock?

it is meant to ground the case so that it wont shock random parts of the circuit board but instead go to ground through the usb cable

that is purely preference. Alu is a bit brighter and plastic sounds deeper and more muted.

i personally prefer alu, also because of its premium looks and feel

those terms dont really tell me what you want

if you want a deeper sound stuff it full of foam and use plastic case

if you want a cleaner brighter sound use alu with no foam or some silicone

also most of the sound profile is made up by switches either way

Does the Friction fit pad work with the first wooting 60HE? site only claims it works with the wooting60HE+. Trying to understand if there is a difference or not?

I have a spare HE that a buddy left me behind and I want to put it in the new silicone case. Will the friction fit kit work fine with it?

Hey guys, since i updated the Keyboard Firmware the keyboard started to misbehave. It seems like some keys are pressed by a ghost. The function key, the mode switch key and tab. When i open the Wootility App and open the "Actuation Point" menu i can see that the Visual Feedback glitches around between 0.1mm and 0.16mm activating Key Presses. After i reconnect the Keyboard it stops glitching around and works proper again. Is this a known issue?

Q for those that play Valorant. Has anyone experienced a noticeable positive or negative difference in your strafing after you switched to the 60HEv2?

Assuming the former keyboard is mechanical I think anyone of a decent rank/ability would notice their strafe stop timings have changed

Unless you’re someone who delays your first shot way too long, it’s pretty noticable that your bullet accuracy after a strafe happens earlier than on mechanical keyboards

i don't fully understand continuous rapid trigger, does it ignore actuation point?

Rapid trigger basically just means that the key actuates at your set actuation point, but if you then hold it below that actuation point and lift it up a minuscule amount it will deactivate the key, allowing you to then push it down by that same amount (or a different amount you set in the software), it reactivates. Continuous rapid trigger just means you can do this as many times as you want while remaining below your initial actuation point rather than it only happening once before you need to fully reset the key.

Actually i just received my keyboard yesterday and tested it. Noticed that sometimes when im moving , my character will randomly stop going forward. But I know that I don’t lift my fingers up high enough to reset the trigger to move so idk what the right setting would be to adjust for this
