Sadly no, it still occurs....

I just adjusted the actuation range just so there are no missclicks

Tried disconnecting, cleaning, changing switches, restarting... only thing that helped for a little bit is in wootility resetting all keyboard settings

i am having similar issue for which i am going through posts of people in this server and whether they have found a fix.

at first it was print screen now its multiple other keys

Just sit tight, if you’ve tried the basic fixes it’s time to just get the ticket sent into support then let them figure out the fix/replacement if needed

If it’s a pcb issue it wouldn’t be fixable via software. Just depends really as there’s a whole variety of things that can cause random presses and they’re not all the same problem or always related. That’s why it’s best not to get too worried about different reports of issues.
With replacements for these things wooting often covers shipping costs but I’m not support so I don’t know the exact details of how it works.

How much variance is normal in https://analog-monitor.wootility.io/ ?

For example, I have WASD set to 1.3mm actuation with 0.25mm RT. On the analog monitor, If I purposefully bottom out, my actuation can be anywhere from 1-2mm and the release/RT can occur anywhere from 0.25mm to 1.5mm

I was trying to troubleshoot some inconsistency. Not sure how accurate this monitor is but if it is, that's a lot of inconsistency

depends what you want to change really. Most common outside of changing switches would be adding spacebar foam (if your unit doesn't have it preadded yet), and relubing/touching up the stabilizers if they have any noise

I bought the 80HE last wek. Is it normal that the stabilizers (Enter Key, ISO, German) do not extend on their own? So when there is no keycap on top, the basically just fall down? This seems to make installing the enter key with my layout super tricky. If you push too hard on either side the keycap simply comes off. Today the entire enter keycap flew off while typing. That key just seems pretty unstable.

I'm gonna record one should it pop out again. The spacebar stabs behave similar so I guess it is normal. The stabs don't have their own springs. They are pulled out by the switch when connected to the keycap. I used a lot more force this time and sure it is pressed down evenly. Seems to be better now. Still kinda tricky to get the stabs in properly for that particular key since the stabs are lower than the switch itself

I think rather than just looking at performance, you should also consider the long term support/durability. If both looks 'similar' to you interm of performance, it's time for you to look for which one is less pain in the ass to troubleshoot/repair.

80HE has less latency and overall rapid trigger implementation is better. Also it's hotswappable, means you can swap with other hall-effect switches if you want. On Hunstsman v3 you are stuck with dogwater optical switches.

Wootings software is superior, while Razer Synapse is hot garbage in comparison. Wooting comes with 4 year warranty and a decade of product support, you will constantly get firmware and software updates.

Hey! I’m planning to build a keyboard with the Wooting 80HE Module inside a KBDfans GT-80 case. I’m still looking for switches ideally magnetic ones like TTC Full POM Magnetos or similarthat sound thocky, creamy, and dark but nice. I want adjustable actuation points and Dynamic Rapid Trigger working, maybe with some modding. Also, I plan to use ceramic keycaps. Does anyone know if this setup is possible or if these switches would work well?

the 80HE is only compatible with magnetic switches. HE in the same stands for hall effect which is detecting a change in magnetic attraction basically telling how far the switch is pressed as the magnet moves up and down. features like adjustable actuation and rapid trigger are all part of the 80he pcb.

the only small notes i have are dont forget to buy the daughterboard when getting the gt80 or get a plastic case from us (also 10bucks with a module in the same order as a bundle deal) because the module itself doesnt include a daughterboard. ceramic caps can work with any switch. might just need stronger springs which (unless you go overboard with the spring force) doesnt cause much sound change usually

It's not because of production, JST cable can get loose during shipping. Takes 3 minutes to fix it. All you need to do is remove all screws on the back of your keyboard, lift the module and push the cable in the connector with your nail.
