does anyone know of a video with a wooting 80he with the various switches invold? Looking to get a zinc case with some new switches
Do OwLab Ti HE switches fit on the 80he?
Yes
should I buy wooting 80he yay or nay?
Yay
I cant decide to go with the Owlab TI switches or RAWs đŚ
Owlab is basically improved version of raw
Yeah i see this but they are also much much louder then the RAWs from comparison videos

hey guys, the past few days all of the leds on my wooting 80he have been switched off and I was wondering if anyone has run into this issue/has a potential fix. I've installed the latest wootility beta update, tried toggling just about every setting in wootility, and yk unplugged and replugged the keyboard. I haven't been able to find anything about this issue so any help would be appreciated đ
Does the keyboard type normally?
Does it connect in Wootility?
Do you have any RGB controlling apps running?
nvm guys ive been thru wootility about 3 times already but literally seconds after writing this i found the brightness was turned all the way down for some reason
sorry LMAO

Get the Raws with the GT-80 case
I just put mine together and love it!
I hated the lekker v2 stem wobble, how do they compare?
See I have the v2s on my 60he and I think they are better than the KS20s.
If you are worried about stem wobble Iâd probably go with the jade gamingâŚ
S is Ti he, D is Lekker v2
Raw iirc is like a notch below Ti he but a step from Lekker v2
yeah its night a day difference their. Im just worried that sound profile of them are really clacky over the RAWs but the stem wobble looks really good
Ti he is like 1-2 semitone difference compared to raw
Shouldn't be too much
I do see alot of people going over to these TI's... may have to be the ones
Both are very clacky, sound comparisons arent always accurate.
Raws are loud too
would you have a video of the sound profile, i presume your board is standard?
from the videos the RAWs sound "thockier" i guess, but a lot of the videos the boards are modded in some way
Hi @little cargo, Iâm not a mod and i wouldnât be able to help you in any way, Iâm just saying hello
Yo Iâm a noob whatâs the difference between this yellow one and the green one thatâs in my keyboard alr
Sorry, but someone already helped me with my question. I'm very sorry. Thank you very much anyway.
Good bye
I think the difference is the stiffness of the switch, green is medium whereas yellow is lighter
Maybe they give you it to see weather or not youâd prefer a lighter press on the switch
Do I need to take the whole case out if I just want to try out one of the switches
I want it but it won't let me order it);
I donât think so, if your keyboard came with a keycap puller you should be able to just use that tool to pull it off and place the other switch
Ok
Yellow switches are lighter, green switches are heavier
so the yellow switches require less force to press down than the green ones
Other way around
fixed, thanks for that!
i know right
I'm looking to purchase the Wooting 80he module, but is it possible to purchase it without the case?
Yes but you wont get JST and USB-C cables.
What is JST?
I don't need a USB-C cable as i will be purchasing it separately from the website.
Plastic case comes with JST cable and a daughterboard
You wont be able to use a keyboard without them
I can buy a wooting daughterboard as an option for the GT-80, is that pointless?
You can do that, yes.
So now it's okay to buy the wooting without a case?
for actuation points is it meant to be at 0 or is there a range where its at since mine always shows from .60-.80 or are my key caps may be a tad heavy for the switches?
If you are getting daughterboard from KBDfans, sure, but plastic case costs like 10$ and you are getting daughterboard, good quality usbc cable and an extra case, its a very good deal.
Oh 10$?
Do you mean visual feedback in wootility? it should always show 0mm when you dont press the keys
This is not normal, try replugging your keyboard
it came in like this
Replug doesnt fix it?
its random sometimes ill replug and it resets fine but other times when i turn my pc back on or try to use it goes back like that
Are you using stock cable?
Oh, I didn't know that adding it to your cart would change it to $10.
yes everything but keycaps are stock i tried it with the stock keycaps as well but i still had the same issue so i put my other ones back on
Its automatically added when you are getting module
Thank you so much
i even tried the usb-c and with the usb-a connector and tried it without any other connections on the back of the pc

Good thing i joined the discord. I didn't know the actuation point wasn't correct. I appreciate your help.
Hello, is there any plan to update the Wooting 80HE so that the Rapid Trigger stroke adjustment can go from 0.15mm down to 0.1mm?
Also, I heard that the Wooting 60HE V2 is getting an update for true 8K pollingâwill the 80HE also receive a similar update for 8K polling?
Yeah they already have 0.1 in their testing and said theyâll roll it out with the switch selector update in the future
Thank you for the information. I was also wonderingâwill the 80HE receive the 8K polling update along with the other models?
80HE already has true 8k polling
Ah, I seeâthe 80HE seems to have the same 8K support. Thanks for the clarification!
I saw in the video that the 80HE comes with a knob switch.
Do you know when it will be included?
Iâm already using the 80HEâdo I need to purchase the knob switch separately?
Knob will release start of next year sometime as a separate item you can add to your wooting keyboard
Will it be a bit pricey?
Shouldnât be that pricy, wooting said they are looking at solutions to try lower shipping cost for non EU buyers
Thank you! I've been using Wooting and felt it was a shame that there was no knob switch, so it's great news that one is going to be released.
Is it okay to use a different USB-C cable instead of the original USB-C cable?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8ojU_8ASVE
In theory? Yes. However depending on the cable, you may be unable to combine Tachyon Mode with high LED brightness.
If you are experiencing your keyboard pressing random keys and opening programs, then you came to the right video. The issue is usually caused by an instable amount of voltage entering the board. Follow along to see what you can do about it.

Oh thank you
Depends on the quality of the cable
also length
2m is recommended
So, does that mean a cable with similar specifications is okay?
Yes
Only one way to find out.
Different wire gauge, solder quality. Hard to know without testing. Buy with a return option available đ
Thank you
Do you have one of those magnetic desks by chance? Those are not compatible and can cause problems
how often do you all clean your wooting ?
About once a month? I give them a good clean. Pick off the keycaps, clean the "ducts" with wet qtips and scrub any keycaps that might have a bit of something on them.
Can you callobrate hte Owlabs TI HE switches with the wooting 80he?
my keyboard have gotten really dirty in 3 month đ
I clean it every week lol
Hi, does the zinc-alloy still "suffer" from issues concerning the paint being scratched off? I am unsure if I should order the "prebuild" version or just order the Module and get a 3rd party case.
There will always be a small portion of cases that will develop this issue.
This is covered within warranty.
I have 2 keyboards 60he and just ordered 80he which one better for valorant ? And other question my 60 he start acting weird pressing buttons that i never pressed and hold on them like letter a it goes crazy aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and c do that to all by it self and doesnt go back to normal until i press it again
Btw i keep it clean there is no dirt at all
I would really avoid using Opera.. Privacy is ass and the "VPN" is just a shitty proxy and does not offer real VPN security. Can't explain myself why people use Opera overall
mostly customizability, although some browsers have caught up now
if you don't use the vpn stuff opera is just a more customizable aesthetic of chrome
awhile back though opera was one of the few mainstream browsers that let you really customize aesthetics of it
2nd wooting on the way! Black zinc case white keycaps and ordered some owlabs TI switches for, very excited!
really not the deal breaker here not to use other good looking browsers đ
what switches sound like otemu pink switches that i can use on my wooting 80he?
i mean... if you take out the vpn stuff you're just using chrome so it doesn't really matter whether they use it or not
if folks want to use it for the aesthetic of it i don't see any issue with that
brave for the win
brave be fine but i found it a bit buggy at times
where? For some websites it is, just because of the adblock
there were some bugs in the past where it took them quite a long time to get around to fix it
Okay
I primarily use brave cuz it has a mobile app and I can sync my history etc.
And ofc the only good adblock on ios
i mean it's all mostly chromium based, use whatever you like really
Yeah but ios doesn't allow you to install extensions
If you want the opera complexity, use vivaldi
On ios it's basically safari with a different design for every browser tbf
Doesn't need to be anymore. But in practice it still is
I have 2 keyboards 60he and just ordered 80he which one better for valorant ? And other question my 60 he start acting weird pressing buttons that i never pressed and hold on them like letter a it goes crazy aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and c do that to all by it self and doesnt go back to normal until i press it again
(or is that only an eu thing)
idk
I siwtched to Firefox from Chrome because it still works with ublock origint etc. đ
I'm using Firefox on pc and phone
both work great, i'd pick based on format more than anything else
as for your keypress issue that sounds like a power issue either due to usb port, cable, using usb hub or similar
Didn't they revert that?
Did they?
Librewolf is just the better alternative overall. Firefox, just better lol
But chromium based browsers just run faster so I chose Brave
Can someone help me with RGB, I have a Base layer set to Static that I like, and I want to add a Trail effect layer, so when I click a button, it makes a random colour, and then turning back to the base layer after set timer. But when I select Trail under Effect layers and then Random Colours, it turns the Static base layer off, only leaving the Trail effect layer. What am I doing wrong ?
yeah
hello my 80he disconnects quite regularly. I think it's coming from my usbc plug. Do you have the same problem or is it a known problem?
#1019755933959733258
Could be a bad cable (could try a different one and see how it behaves) or a daughterboard JST cable that isn't in fully.
is there any benefit to using a really fast usbc-usbc cable for the 80HE? that's what i use for my keypad
i know usb 2.0 has some limitations
got it, thank you!
i havve the same problem with an other cable
Please make a thread in the linked forum from my previous response. đ
Im assuming metal based desk with magnetic add-ons then i do yes
I use it for it because of the customisation i dont use the vpn at all and on top of that i only ever really use it for youtube or movie watching since everything thats important is through my phone or my laptop and those have a usb decrypt key to unlock everything anyway
I got a maxed out Tt wooting 80 he what mods should I put on it
Magnetic keyboards are not compatible with magnetic desks since they cause interference, that is why you have that issue most likely.
If you put the keyboard away from the desk probably you wonât have that issue.
I even got the metal case so its probably not any better
The desk and my bed are the only two structures in my room and i dont think playing with the keyboard on my lap seems like it would be very comfortable
Yeah, but honestly any Hall effect keyboard would have issues if you have strong magnets around.
Yeah got a desk wide mat is a magnetic but i donât have any issues with it other than actuation point and wouldnât that be more just stuck keys or heavy caps? Or can the desk really mess that up without some other issues?
That is most likely the desk, the sensors of the keyboard are picking up some of that magnetic stuff and they think the key is being pressed
Probably if you move the keyboard around the desk you will see different keys or actuation points triggering
It would make sense with the inconsistency of the actuation points
I do have a leather based mat i got its also magnetic but would it be any better than just a most other mats?
At least to possibly reduce the interference
It is very hit or miss, you can try.. but people usually report mixed results and also is better to have higher actuation points
Yeah thats what i did my actuation point is 1.6 at the moment and its helped a bit but the reason i dont have the leather mat is because its a pain to clean
For fps i have it at 1.6 but for just everyday use its 2.0
how is a desk magnetic lol
When they put magnets on it
Just a metal desk with magnetic add-ons really like i think something like the secretlabs desks since everything on that is usually based around magnets
Steelseries sell one that is quite popular with magnetic addons
Magnus pro or something like that
didnt know they make desks
Oh secret lab
I have it definitely expensive but the convenience of the back cable storage is extremely nice plus i like magnets i have a fidget toy thats magnetic so i have it on the side plus the standing desk option has definitely been great for my health
I also have a standing one but itâs just a wooden table xD
But yeah I think if I had a desk like that I would get just a mechanical keyboard or optical
It was a gift from my brother for my birthday so im not so hung over about it
The keyboard
Ill try it with the leather desk mat and try keeping the magnets away from the keyboard ill try that out at least
I appreciate the help
Guys
I already ordered it!!!!

Guys, bad news, in short, it won't let me buy it because of "high risks," so I'll have to buy another keyboard. Sorry.

hello everyone... my 80HE has a problem with some keys. If I press them hard they get stuck. Their rising is slower. I noticed this problem on Shift Left and especially on spacebar. How can I do to solve it? Any advice? Thank you.
sounds like the stabilizers got sticky? did you spill something. if yes your gonna have to clean it out and apply new lube
No, absolutely not. A few weeks ago, I opened the keyboard following the official video to check the JST ser cable was connected well, as I get short disconnections like once a day while I'm in the game, i changed usb port, tried both with usb c to a dongle and without. The cable is its original. I tried keyboard reset but nothing. Now this problem with the keys, how can I try to lubricate them? Thank you.
A YouTube video can explain that better than I can
Likely to be the white poron pads beneath the stabs that have absorbed some moist. You can try removing them (may affect the sound profile a bit) and see if it helps

when did u purchase it?
if it's a new batch I don't think there are any poron pads anymore(?)
They stopped doing those?
Mine still had them and I got it in februari
yep, i didn't receive those on my unit
I had to scrape them off before swapping them with better ones.
yo over time I've been getting some fur in my keyboard, can I just vacuum it out (after turning keyboard off) or will that damage it?
also curious whether I can use compressed air
compressed air tends to be fine aslong as it isnt insanely powerfull
hi, I wanted to ask how long does the factory lube on switches last?
Enviorment depending / use depending.
if you use it alot and you live in a dusty humid enviorment it can last shorter, but generally it last ages
if a switch feels scratchy you could always relube / add a bit more
Ye bcz after like a week of using, my WASD (i use them the most), started sounding and feeling a bit different than the other buttons
26 March 2025
u don't have the stabs pad i guess
Thanks! is it a good thing or not? đ
They improve sound
But can absorb moisture in humid environments and get sticky
Yes, these days it's very hot and humid here. đĽ˛
Sound is not important for me, i have headset đ
so do i, i still want it to sound nice
Ordered my first wooting kb im so excited, my blackwidow v4 multiple keys are dying
You wonât be disappointed. Best keyboard Iâve owned yet. And Iâve had a lot
great to hear đ what u using L45 or L60 switch?
I used l45s for about 3 months before switching to geon raws
I prefer their sound and they have less stem wobble. But they are also less deep
I tried l35/45/60/100, owlab he and geon raws and preferred the geons the most
any 3rd party rgb sofware for 80he yet? openrgb still doesn't have support
why is this happening
i decided to make a warranty clame over the warped case my 80he has i didnt bother with it because i didnt think warranty can cover this but i realized that it is a defect which counts. hopefully i gave the right info showing the warping got a photo and video
if my keyboard does get accepted i hope i dont have to send the board if i do i should have a old keyboard untill its resolved
sucks tho idk how the plastic warped at the front of the housing
i really like this company so hoping i can get this resolved if not ill probably just get a new case
did u try gateron jade pro magnetic ones?
are there any aftermarket cases coming out for the 80he?
or like any interest checks?
other than the gt80 bone80 and holy80
My friend legit baught the holy 80 module and a set of the collab switches man really dished out 500 me who broke and happy with base prebuilt
Yes it does?
anyone else sometimes have issues where you turn the pc on but the keyboard doesnt turn on?
and then you need to unplug and replug it in
collab switches?
Owlab Teehees
Uh
the wooting koms?
Or TTC POMs?
It's the Kom poms
Yes
He got those with the holy80
And added the foam idk if the foam will even do anything for him
XD HE also didn't know if he needed the daughter board for the module but he got it anyway
this switches are legit for 80he? and this is HE version? anybody bought it? thanks
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mqsqED5
they're solid, although if you're going to buy off aliexpress i'd get the owlab ti or ur ice ultra/duhuk lumia herz instead of jade pros
they're like improved jade pros
im gonna check it ty
So my 1 week old wooting 80hE has just stopped working randomly after working for a week perfectly?
The power has just gone out and the keeb wonât light up / power on anymore.
Tried changing the cable and the port.
Do I need to dismantle the whole thing to check the daughterboard connector? Even though it doesnât look disconnected in comparison to how it was
yea dismantle it look inside, theres a dismantle video on youtube gl
Ugh⌠taking all these keycaps off is so annoying.
Don't need to remove a single one (just makes it easier to grab the case)
Sometimes, you may need to fully disassemble your keyboard, whether it's to swap out stabilizers or replace components due to a defect. In this video, we'll guide you through the process.

definitely wont be disappointed. i hope this board lasts me a hundred years.
Its so hard to to choose the switch
currently looking the OWLAB Ti HE MAGNETIC SWITCHES
Owilab 50pcs switch cost 26⏠I think its very fair price
they're a great pick for just general all rounder
they are good for rgb?
they're fine, neutral color so your rgb will show up
if you're really wanting to min/max rgb you could go the ur ice ultra clears
you don't really need to go clear switch to get good rgb though, that's just an extra thing if you REALLY want to go 100% absurdly bright rgb
Hey!
I am pretty new here, just ordred my Wooting 80HE, it says its coming at 21 June - 07 July 2025 but noone charged me since.
Where should I look for help?
Exactly!
that's weird, they take payment right when you order normally
Money would have been reserved or charged immediately on checkout.
Nothing happened, but I was able to checkout and give an order
What's the order number? EUxxx/USxxx
EU340550H
Money has definitely been charged.
nvm this was a bad copy-paste haha
Strange, I did not get any notification from my bank, or mobile app, I even checked it on my netbank account. Payed with VISA
No you did not. Mastercard.
Yep sorry. I always forgot this đ
Strange, I wait 1-2h maybe there is some delay or technical issue on my side, tho since it's charged on the wooting site, I guess everything is fine
im gonna use the Double Shot Backlit PBT keycaps anyway, so the owlab switches will be good?
Thank you so much! Saved me so much time knowing that it's just those 3-4 caps I needed to remove to make the process easier đ
Seems it was a loose cable? I re-plugged it and it worked. Although it doesn't look any more loose than it was in the past
yeah they'll work fine
gj
I already ordered yesterday the lekker v2 l45 too sadly đ but only 40pcs maybe I sell them then if the studio ice is much better
I do wish the daughterboard connector cable has some sort of latch/click to acknowledge that it's been locked in. As someone that bites their nails and had no nails to ensure it's pushed in, that was single-handedly the hardest part of the whole board assembly. The cable kept popping back out
My hands were shaking by the end of the whole process xD
Im thinking to purchase the OWLAB Ti HE MAGNETIC SWITCHES with Double Shot Backlit PBT keycaps im curious how the RGB looks anybody here owns it ?
I didnât try them but I didnât like their sound in videos
They have a closed bottom so they are a bit louder and ticky
Ive got both on hand Iâll snap some picture for you
hello troooops, I've got a quick question to ask. I got my keeb not too long ago (about a week ago) and for some strange reason my keys been actuating. I've watched their official video on how to diagnose and solve the problem but the issue keeps on persisting. I used a different high powered cable, made sure there's nothing magnetic around it, reduced brightness, lowered the pulling rate within the settings you name it. If anyone has had the same issue and have fixed it do let me know please!
If I can find my Owlabs
Question, just ordered my 80he on the 11th and paid the 7.99 for expedite shipping, got a tracking number the next day but it says only the label was created and they haven't gotten the package yet? Then om the wooting website it says the package has shipped and is on its way to me ? Is this normal ? Website saying it shipped but UPS saying it hasn't even gotten the item ?
Courier has picked up the pallet of packages, but haven't split it up and scanned it in yet. Could be a couple of days.
Thank you for the quick reply and info!
thank you looking forward
Ik I havenât been able to find my owlabs đ

IT'S HERE.
Hey! Thereâs so much info to read through to find the answer so I decided to ask here. I want to build a 80HE with Lekker45 or Gateron jades, I think im too lazy to use any lube. Is it ok to just install case/plate/keycaps and switches? As Iâve understood there is lube in the switches already(?)
What would you guys with experience suggest for mostly gaming, Gateron Jade or Lekker45?
đ
None of them, get owlab ti's instead, they are cheaper and better
they are already lubed get owlab ti its cheap and superior im gonna order it today too and if u register u get 10% off
Okey I just see the transaction fee on my bank account. Everything is fine on my side too!
the doggo ate itđĽ˛đ¤Ł?
default switch?
letsgo
Thanks mate! So I can make an order like this picture and buy Owlab Ti switches (90pcs) separately and build the keyboard without problems? Where did you order your switches from with discount?
that's just for the lekkers
I think 40g is better but depends on self pref
Sorry, was this a reply to my post? What about Lekkers?
they're 50% off
this are better compared to lekkers from many posts reviewes and users
If you're in the EU deltakeyco also sells them https://deltakeyco.com/products/owlab-ti-he-switches?variant=50808438587733
Owlab Ti HE specifications: Each pack contains 10 switches Hall-Effect Linear Bottom-out Force: 40g or 50g Initial Magnetic Flux:Â 120Gs Bottom Magnetic Flux:Â 750Gs Total Travel:Â 3.4mm Top Housing: PC Bottom Housing:Â Nylon (Closed-Bottom) Stem Material: POM Factory Lubed Manufactured by Owlab
oh but 40g seems to be sold out
as in?
i bought lekker v45 too but think im gonna sell it
youtube reddit google reviews
wasting 10 minutes for clickbait award
ok polycarbonate polyamide
is it just how it sounds or what
I'm not buying the "esports-grade accuracy" because that's up to the board
Not exactly
better magnet tolerances?
If the switches have more wobble the board will raise deadzone to compensate for magnet inconsistencies due to wobble
the magnets aren't solenoids
The ti hes are quite the step up in terms of stem wobble, while also sounding much better than lekkers.
do the lekkers wobble a lot or something
i have a few loose ones and they barely do
Compared to good aftermarket switches yeah they have a decent amount of wobble
Lekker v2 is a huge step up from lekker v1 but stuff like ti he, ttc poms, raw he, etc are still better
Ttc poms are the top dog when it comes to stability
well i guess there's nothing to worry about then since i got lekkers 50% off
You could wait until q4 and pickup the lekker tikkens
Gonna be a massive step up in stem wobble for lekkers
- closed bottom full travel (4mm)
well i can always order them later
any good switches coming out this year? or just buy the owlab tis?
Lekker Tikken
New switches come out constantly. Just buy now and you can always upgrade later
at the end of the day it's just a magnet on a spring
anybody here have OWLAB Ti magnetic switches with Double Shot Backlit PBT keycaps ? im curious how the RGB looks
it'll look the same as almost every other switch
just the ones with see through tops will be a tad brighter
keep in mind wootings rgb gets absurdly bright
more important is normally whether the switch is tinted a color that makes rgb come off a bit weird, like the jade pro have a slightly green see through top which tints the rgb
my kb is ghost cased its make any difference?
nope
just means rgb will show through the case as well
if you're really that worried about rgb just buy the ur ultra clear switches
they're practically same standard as the owlab ti anyway
I ordered Wooting80HE module and other parts. After checking some reviews I decided to try Owlab Ti HE 40g. Thanks for infos!
great great your welcome happy to helpđđ
might be a stupid question, even if I buy the 80He with no keycaps the lekkers still come pre-lubed, right?
I think yes
So. All switches we sell are lubricated during the manufacturing at the factory they're made in. No relation to the keyboard.
The STABILIZERS are lubricated during ASSEMBLY of our keyboards at the factory.
Or TLDR; Yes. All parts you'd want to be lubed are indeed lubed.-
thank you! đ
Ordered the owlab ti switches đĽ
yay, more ti he enjoyer
but uhh, kinda missing 3-5 piece for 80HE since you only ordered 80
it's alright though, can just keep the previous switch on key you barely used and you'll be fine.
Yeah keep the 4 key cluster with current switches since he will likely buy a large knob in a few months đ
Itâs 84 iirc I bought 90 and have 6 left
Damn, soo confident
iv got these inbound with a wooting 80he zinc
tearing?
why my 80he has constantly pressed 1.32-1.35mm
keyboard tester does not show any key being pressed?
reconnecting keyboard fixes it for 2 minutes lol
After a couple months of use, my Gateron Jade Pros have developed a tiny bit of... hard to say, sticking? on the most used keys
I assume this is just normal degradation of the factory lube?
Lower the actuation point for all keys and check the keyboard tester again
hey guys I just bought the wooting80he module, will it come with the LED bar and the type C converter?
The led bar is part of the pcb. Usb cable and type c adapter are included
thank you I have already contacted the wooting support about the problem
anyone have a list of compatible switches with the 80he?
What is the best wooting keyboard switch? There isn't a 'best' and things like sound can be subjective, but there are a few switches that are popular based on different preferences. More in-depth breakdown and sound tests below: Lekker V2 pros: Very cheap when purchased from wooting via prebuilt or in a 70/90 set with
â¤ď¸
yo
hello, quick question. when i buy the pre-built wooting 80he, it will have the L60 switches right?
Yes
thanks
oh and btw, even though i bought the pre-built wooting, it's still hot-swap and i can replace switches just by pulling them out right?
Yes
don't ping mods for that. You most likely don't have your rapid trigger profile as profile 1
so every time you power up your computer it's resetting to profile 1
Are you sure it's being disabled, and you just don't know how to look at it?
Make a thread in #1019755933959733258 and post a screenshot of your rapid trigger tab, don't touch anything there.
man the people who takes their tiny first world problem and feel entitled enough to start pinging and requesting inmediate help... Do these people not have any kind of self awareness and respect for others? Not even read the rules? đ
its blue
its blue, click on one key and you will see if its enabled or not.
pretty sure it's enabled, can u select any keyboard key in both uis and show us?
do you know how to read though?
its not that deep chill
Because he told you exactly what to do, and you still didnt do it.
it's already enabled tho?
I'm just pointing out u can't modify settings for 0 keys, so u would need to select any key and it would show up as rapid trigger enabled
Hey guys, it's funny I just found my way here to post about the same thing @fossil halo did. So just to be clear, even though it doesn't show that rapid trigger is enabled when you open the app, it's on as long as the keys are blue when you enter the rapid trigger section specifically?
Its working Bro. Ui change after the new software update as long as its blue its working
pls dont troll
đ
Alright, cheers for the help and clarifying, it confused me a bit đ
you gotta go to the rapid trigger settings and select keys that you want to apply rt to
i wouldnt do it on all keys, only the ones that need it (wasd, maybe qwer if you play games like lol)
You can see rapid trigger values on 84 different keys
Sir we know that but once you reopen the software its show zero key selected
Can you provide the full screenshot?
This is screenshot from your video
Okie
Yeah I've done that by selecting all keys and enabling it, yet when I enter the app this is what shows:
Yes, because you havent selected any keys?
Go in rapid trigger section if you want to adjust it
I deleted the videos coz someone saying donât spam here
I have, and I've saved it but whenever I restart the app then it requires me to select all keys again for it to be activated
Yes its working bro trust me
No, you dont need to select keys to activate it, its already activated and saved onboard
Listen bro just relax itâs working fine. I tested it myself. If you turn Rapid Trigger on, save it, then reopen the app and tap on any key, it will show that Rapid Trigger is on so that part works fine.
But if you tap on a key, then turn Rapid Trigger off, save it, and reopen then tap any key, it will show that itâs off.
However, if it was turned on before saving, and you tap a key after reopening, youâll notice itâs working as expected.
I hope you got what Iâm trying to say now
Yeah it will stay on in the onboard memory, but to verify it, youâll have to tap any key once to check
this conversation is very much like... if I turn on the lights in the bedroom, and then leave the bedroom... is the light still on?
the answer is no clearly
if i leave the stove on and leave my house that means the stove isnt on anymore
the fire department hates this trick.
Bro you have the Wooting app right? Just try it yourself go to the Rapid section and just tap once. Then Rapid will automatically turn yellow
See it yourself sir your rapid is working
what does the dark purple color mean?
Now tap a key donât select any new key just tap then you will get the yellow turn on button
dark purple means its on
the gray means its off
If you leave the room without turning off the light, the light will stay on right bro?
then what does the purple one mean?
Yes I know, but I dont know what is your problem exactly
also on
all purple shades are on
just differing sensitivity
oh, so ig wooting does that
No there was no problem I just didnât know how it works. I didnât know how to tell whether itâs on or not. But now everything is clear.
I guess the other 50 messages telling you how it worked didnt work for you :/
I am dumb mb
its a common misconception
wooting alr made a lot of changes to try to reduce it
but its hard to understand at first glance nw
idk it was always clear for me... you can have N keys active... so how do you actually display which keys are active without cluttering the screen? well, show color and then let people click on the specific key they want to know...
great post âĽď¸ Yesterday I ordered the owlab ones
hi there, I tried updating my 80he but smething didnt work. now my e and r key light up red. if i try to reset it in wootility it says Error id bootloader, timed out finding bootloader. But i connected it right, while holding the top and bottom right key and they light up blue. i tried it on another device. it is diectly plugged in the computer. i tried another cable and im using the application version of wootility. nothing helped. Do you have an idea?
i already tried that.
hello everyone, can someone help or share their profile for cs 2. to make it easier for me to control counter-strafing, thank you in advance
here is my profile 5e1631a91bfvide19ca20199399fb0c77f18e2 .but I often make mistakes when driving. you can fix where I have a mistake. and send the code?
Any great looking pudding keycaps for 80he?
just ordered a 80He module, what stabalisers are considered the best? from what i could see its either TX AP or SW Knight Stabilisers V3?
I like prism caps from steelseries
đŞ
i just got my wooting so far really liking it my still getting used to sensitive keys and rt, snappy tappy etc but ik over time itll click and feel natural. my only thing that bugs me that idk how to fix is my d key sounds thocky but my a key sounds more clicky anyone know why or how to fix?
80he frost and puddings look dope
using it?
show it, Boss
its prisms mixed with some clear r4 caps from aliexpress and some grippy corsair wasd
tight
Love the grippy WASD so that you stay connected during those sweaty gaming sessions!
hi so what are these for`?
those are like alternative 80he rubber feet
okay and how do you mount them?
peel off the top rubber feet (the one that's close to the connector and the one that's under the top right of the keyboard), and try pushing the new feet in with the bump facing north.
oh damn okay that was ez and made it easy thanks shot appreciate it

I am using an English keyboard for the first time, but when I switch between English and Roman character input using SHIFT + Caps Lock, sometimes it switches to full-width alphanumeric characters. It's very annoying, but is there any way to fix this?
I apologize for any mistranslations.
I suggest making a post in #1019755933959733258 because this is a very specific question that I don't know the answer to. The question will probably get lost in this chat
I am more curious to know what is full width alphanumeric characters đ¤
that to me sounds like normal letters xD
Prob means capitalized?
It's something related to the Japanese language stuff. See their thread in #1019755933959733258 if you're curious or can help.
Yo, what is the return window for the Wooting 80HE?
An overview of our policy for the Warranty/Return/Cancellation Policy
Did you mean to ask about WARRANTY?
Cause ain't no company offering you a four year "i regret my purchase" return policy. But they (and we) will help repair or replace any defects đ
yeah 2 completely different things, yet all the info is on the page I linked
or email us
In the v5wootility tester I'm able to input, with wasd like inputs.----
"left stick down" by holding down "s"
and the same, by holding asd
as the a and d cancel one another, as expected.
However, when I go in-game, it no longer behaves as expected
So the wooting is sending the data for each key, and not just the joystick location
Else there is no way the game engine could misinterpret my inputs
Is there a workaround? Can I change how joystick data is handled?
Well that was faster than I thought
hey guys, do you think its a good time to order the 80HE? Or are there rumors / leaks that a 80HE v2 is coming out soon?
won't be an 80he v2 for quite some time even if it was in the works
so i should get the 80he no stress
yeah 80he only just came out not that long ago
alrighty thanks
hey guys how do i check the uhh
graph so i can see about EMI
either way the keyboard feels very nice and responds very nicely with the lekker v2
they could use a little bit extra lube if you want it to be smooth enough so you can slowly increment 0.01mm but that's a non-issue i guess
it's so little travel and the keyboard doesn't make much noise
also bravo on wooting for making good firmware
No, theres not gonna be a 80HE v2 anytime soon
I am however, interested in getting a 60HE v2 with a silent config for my SFF config
how do i change these ugly ass colors
You're looking at the profile indicator effect. Which uh... Well it takes the colours you've chosen for each profile and displays them on the bar.
well i wanna change the green bg
also thanks for the heads up ab the profile color being used
You guys should update the ui for this. It took me a while to realize that I need to change the profile color itself for the light bar to work. It would be nice if we could set it to any color we want, kinda like how rgb works for the rest of the keyboard
how do i switch profile order
Drag em around đ
Yep
like, 1,2,3,4 in circles?
isn't that what it does by default? xD
Hey guys I am interested in getting an 80-100% keyboard and came across a case for the 80he that I loved way more than any other cases for full sized boards and I kind of settled on getting an 80he pcb, I was wondering if the 80he module came with a daughterboard as the case I am wanting to get comes with one optionally
No, you only get the dautherboard if you buy it along with plastic case/prebuilt
Thank you much! I am going to hop on the holy 80 band wagon, so ill buy the daughter board and a carbon fiber plate through kbd then does it come with foam and such or is there any other accessories that i should get while im on kbd
I checked the page and it doesn't seems like it comes with extra foam, but you can grab it as an extra from the holy80 page. That should just be it.
Awesome i looked on wootangs site and they are kind off lacking on laying everything out when it comes to the module unless i missed it
you can kinda look at 80he product page and just look at 4-8, that should be included within the module
4-8, sorry
Oh I completely missed that, thats on me sorry for asking a seemingly dumb question đ
there's no dumb question
Oh it says daughter board on that ss or is that if you buy the whole thing not just the module
It's something you get if you buy the whole thing.
or just the case
80he module off wootings site comes with a plastic case (with daughterboard and foam, but the foam is nothing special)
Also it might be worth it to just buy the assembled 80he keyboard if the price is close
For me it's $190 for the module and $200 for the whole keyboard, you'd get a extra set of keycaps and switches this way for $10
Its almost a 50 difference for me
The only thing im missing would be the 45$ braided cable that makes up that difference
I can get a cool one off cable mod for 20$
The website is kinda shit I guess. It's $190 for me until I refresh the page, then it's $165 after
Shipping and fees are calculated once your full address in
anyone know how to disable windows key by pressing fn + windows
Yeah. You uh... you press those keys? Is this a trick question? đ
on wootility...
bind Key Lock in Fn Layer 1
It's already there by default. Did you accidentally remove it?

profile i copied didnt have it

why does my keyboard keep bugging and randomly pressing l on its own and spams it sometimes ?
If you are experiencing your keyboard pressing random keys and opening programs, then you came to the right video. The issue is usually caused by an instable amount of voltage entering the board. Follow along to see what you can do about it.

itâs none of the issues so idk why itâs doing it
no i just got the 80he
Mode toggles between profile 1 and 2 i think
You need to bind Cycle instead of Mode, then you will be able to swap between 4 profiles
First profile and whichever other profile you last used.
why does my keyboard keep bugging and randomly pressing l on its own and spams it sometimes ? like its full bugged and it only just started happening today
Just ordered the keyboard today. How are you guys feeling the 80he?
well itâs good but mine is bugging rn so tryna fix it
Damn, how long did you have it for?Did you try support?
like idek how long
and where is support
I mean on their website
oh
Very nice, using it right now to type this message and doing school work

seen that dont work
Thx for the feedback,I can't wait to try it myself.

anyone here that can point me to the right direction for GTA V enhanced profiles ?
does the wooting 80he come with a plastic dust cover?
Only where it is needed - Prebuilt, PCR boards.
when i follow the profile from ziz1243 i get alot of removed keybinds and lt rt are not working for me
Modules don't, zinc case prebuilts don't.

Hey guys, anyone else having issues with usb-c cable disconnecting with the 80he?
I've read a bit on reddit and apparently the polling rate of 8k might cause it. For me adjusting it back to 1k didn't help.
Additionally i've checked the usb-c connector on the keyboard itself, re-plugged the cable and tightened the screws holding the usb-c connector. Sadly that did not help. Also tried several different cables.
Anyone know anything?
I just got my 80he and right out of the box it just disconnects and reconnected at first and i tried different cables and with and without the adapter and different sockets and on my laptop but now it just wont re-connect so IDK if yours is having a similar problem
yes it comes with the see through clear plastic dust cover
Again - Depends on the configuration.
do you know if i try to open my keyboard and unscrew all the screws and try to fix the keyboard myself it will void my warranty?
Modules don't have a dust cover, because there are not preinstalled switches or keycaps to protect in shipping - nor do prebuilt keyboards with a Zinc case (cause it's protected by the carry case)
i got my package yesterday and out of the box the keyboard didnt work just kept disconnecting
As long as you watch our videos and don't act irresponsible, warranty is intact.
For me it happens from time to time and its not that big of a issue to send it back. Had mine for about 6 months now and I was just hoping for a software fix, since I doubt its a manufacturing issue. We likely have the same issue.
ok I just was excited for this keyboard and then to have it not work right off the bat was wild, the packaging was damaged though from shipping and i sent them photos of that. What will they have me do even? Return the keyboard and then they re-send me another one?
i mean now mine wouldnt even re-connect so i just put it away im not using the keyboard at all, it would disconnect for like 30 seconds and randomly reconnect but towarsds the end it just didnt re-connect and i got very frustrated and just put it back in the box. I think mine was damaged in shipping or something but if other people are having the same issue should I have them return it and get the 60he?
Im not sure honestly. Wait for somebody of the team to reply đ i switch keyboards occasionally and mostly use my 60he too, since i like the formfactor more
Do you also have the plastic case?
Since you just received it, I would probably also send it back or try to fix it yourself.
Do you know if I need to send a different email or ticket on their site then? I sent a warranty email and it says 7-10 business days. After they respond am I going to have to write back asking about a exchange/return and wait another 7-10 business days or is there another way to process a return/exchange? I just want the same keyboard and like I bought expedited shipping to get it faster and now its feeling like it will be over a month before I get the keyboard figured out. Thank you for the input and answering of my questions as well
I think if you sent a support ticket for technical support it would take some time... I think last time they said they had a lot of requests.
I assume a return ticket might be faster đ¤ but no idea, I didn't try it myself.
I did send a technical support ticket like 3 weeks ago and it took around that for a reply, like 8 business days.
Have you checked if JST cable is properly plugged into the PCB connector?
Yeah I opened the case and replugged it, just to be sure
Strange. Try another USB-C cable if you have
I did try other cables as stated above
After replugging the JST cable it seems to happen less often, but im not sure if its really cause of that or placebo
Contact wooting then and ask for replacement daughterboard
It happens like once a day now, cant be bothered but I figured maybe theres an easy fix im missing
Usually JST cable is loose when that happens
Maybe I just buy one of aliaxpress and replace it myself..
costs like 2 euro probably and is much faster
Just contact wooting, I wouldnt recommend getting daughterboard/JST cable on ali
Why? They likely dont differ at all
Is there a good website where you can buy custom keycaps for the 80HE? I've seen so many people with really nice looking keycaps but I can't find any website đŚ
yay
do u guys use continous rapid trigger? i feel like it makes my aim worse because of how fast the movement is
or maybe its something else causing it
Continuous rapid trigger doesnt really work when you have low actuation, placebo makes your aim worse
Dont think about it and lock in
đ¤ âď¸
so what do i use to have a little more advantage than opponents
Your hands
đ
If the keyboard is too sensitive, increase both actuation and rapid trigger
yea im kinda aware about that, but one thing i cannot figure out is why does it sometimes let go the key whenever im holding it fully
like im shifting and boom i start running
ac point on shift 1.0mm
Because your rapid trigger is low on shift, set it to something like 0.5-0.6
wasd is enough yea, but on keys like shift and ctrl you can set ~0.6 rapid trigger
thank you
Is it possible to set up the Razer Hypershift key in the wooting 80he?
is the stock 80HE switches OK?
Should i order the stock 80HE with the zinc alloy case and change the switches later?
is there any easier way to make all function settings the same across profiles without manually copying every key individually?
Mnope
Sure. Right click the key.
okay thanks
guys why is it so hard to pull out switches without opening the whole Keyboard apart?
It might be your switch puller, it might be very tight switches or user error. Honestly the switches do clip in very tightly and while they can be pulled it takes some practice and effort to do it well. Even then, I still suggest pulling the board apart if you want to pull multiple switches
Ig its me or the puller bc it feels so wrong like the puller isnât rly pulling.( im using the one that came with the keyboard btw)
The puller that comes with the keyboard is not great, and the switches that come installed are among the more difficult to remove. It's not just you.
Thanks for the help

yeah I am looking for ISO DE layouts. Not easy to find tbh đ
Oh they are đ im also from DE
I mean most of the sets have ISO caps as well but they are in English. I honestly never look at the keyboard so I donât care much about the legends, but if you do yeah, there arenât as many options.
But many have âinternational setsâ with extra Keycaps for that so you can buy the base + international
me neither... but we have keys like ä.Ü.ß - it would look weird if there is any other key ^^
gmk have some ISO de sets if you are ok shelling out for that
A lot of sets also sell the âinternational setâ as a separate set with all those Keycaps, so you can also look into that
I mean at least i see some gmk and pbtfans sets selling some of those
ohhh good to know. Thank you for that ^^ I will keep an eye on it
gmk sell some basic sets on their webshop with just the DE kit so you can spend a bit less than usual on their stuff (only classig beige, wob and bow tho)
I am not originally from Europe so I used ansi all my life, I donât like iso because Iâm not used to it at all
So I try to buy ansi keyboards always haha
ANSI > ISO confirmed
ok but how is that relevant to the conversation
I have seen a guy with grey keycaps but "gradient". It goes from lighter grey to a darker grey. They look really cool but cant find them đŚ
honestly, blanks are a great way to get around the whole "having correct legends" thing cause you dont have any legends
Maybe if you post a photo someone might know, specially in #đ§âkeyboard_modding
Oh I was thinking that if I wanted to find Keycaps in my own language (ansi ES), that would be near impossible, since not even international kits match that xD
Where in the nine hells do you use ANSI Spanish? I have literally never heard of that particular combination đ
Probably in most of South America

Since we import laptops and all that shit from the US, most of the layouts are ansi, they put Spanish legends on top
Mechanical keyboards and all that shit are ANSi only as well
I guess that makes sense in a really bizarre way đ
cursed
You can only get iso es if you buy $5 membrane keyboards
We sell ISO-ES
at that point just learn to touch type and use blanks

Yeah but with a price that is like 3x the minimum wage in my country without taxes which are like 29%
i am using gmk cosmos rn, they are as close to blanks as you can get realistically
Most people that can afford a mechanical keyboard get a normal 80 usd one
They are ABS keycaps priced at 10 euros with a keyboard?
Oh you mean the whole keyboard package is expensive
Yes that's true, we sell premium products by choice
Yes the whole keyboard
And then if you want Keycaps and stuff ansi is just easier to get
Importing from the US is way cheaper and you pay less taxes than anywhere else
You know you dont need to buy Wooting's products right? if you cant afford them, dont buy them mate.
Buy what fits your budget, in the end its just a keyboard and its not going to make you better or change your life...
That has nothing to do with the conversation thoughâŚ
We were talking about keyboard layouts and why in South America we use a lot of ansi, mostly due to imports from the US.
I guess this comment was just to throw us off then :/
Yeah I replied with this
I mean no one is going to pay 3x the price to get iso es when ansi is just easier to get and accessories as well.
Plus we donât even use iso es, our legends are different (Spanish Latin America)
Anyway, too unrelated to wooting already so letâs close the topic đ
Not really, just different keyboard layouts. South america does not have any different character than spanish.
wanted to buy a zinc alloy white v1 80he from a friend, he said he has one of the few V1 zinc versions that doesnât scratch easily. are there actually some V1 units that dont scratch as easily as others?
thereâs no such thing, but the v1 white is fine and the scratch stuff wasnât anything that bad
The paint chip was a bigger issue than the scratch stuff imo, as long as it doesnât have paint chips then I wouldnât worry (and if itâs your friend he should be able to transfer warranty to you anyway)
V2 has more scratch resistance but the v1 issue was way overblown due to that hipyo video
if you dont start putting a fork against your keyboard to actively try to scratch it, then you'll be fine. I got a white v1 as well
well he said he doesnt have his invoice anymore, so im not sure about the warranty xd
should be online in his wooting hub
Are there 3d files available for the case of the 80 he
That works
Itâs a step file too yippee
đ
Worse

how is rgb
holy80 looks really cool, no question but i dont think i could justify it

you should try rawhuks (i am the only guy still telling people to do this)
Looks clean at least
I have Rawhuks wouldn't recommend to anyone who respects their time and can just get tee hees instead
i still cope that rawhuks have better sound cause of that glass infused bottom housing
Holy
Also the opposite switches are mega bad so you lose 80 switches
đ§
the finish does look really good on it
going off the picture alone
now they need to do a full copper version
just get this instead

Hole-y moly, Batman

wait, am i the only one who thinks it's hulk colorway
not the first thing I thought about, but I see it ;)
the case is calling me like this
If i buy an owlab ti he switches for my kb, do i still need to hand lube it?
most switches come pre-lubed nowadays
its up to you if you wanna go for another layer
I see, thanks!!
My wooting occasionally does not register inputs in some keys. If I unplug and re-plug, it will work fine.
For example: sometimes a space bar is not working, the other the whole row of numers, other time the F* key.
Should I open a ticket for this? At first it rarely happened, but now it happens more often and it bugs me.
Are you using stock cable? also have you tried different port
Is it plugged in directly into the motherboard
Yes and yes. This has never happened with other keyboards.
"Is it plugged in directly into the motherboard"
I believe it should be since this only happens like 1 out 10 times (recently, before it's much rarer)
Contact support https://wooting.io/support
Pick the category and issue you need help with, and we'll guide you through the process.
Definitely open a ticket, that behaviour is not expected and a negative experience which our team would definitely want to fix for you
i know it might sound dumb but i want to cap the pooling rate at 1Khz cuz idk why in every game i keep lagging so hard like my ping get up to 1K even tho i have a really good internet
You can do it in keyboard settings, also disable tachyon mode to have 1k scan rate
but i still get 1600khz
i mean i just got it i launched some games of valorant and i get this
1k-1.6k whatever, not a big difference
Unless you have ancient PC, 8k on a keyboard wont affect performance.
Its not a mouse
ik i have like a average good pc
and my pc like sumpport the high polling rate of my mouse
Then its your OS
i heard that win11 24H2 struggle on high polling rate

Unlikely
polling rate != scan rate
Is it possible to turn my ANSI 80he to ISO
I'd like to try it and see if I like it
rn im on, 8KHZ and i get no lag wtf
i think it was temporary
so much cope jesus
ansi superior layout
chill out mark
ANSI > ISO
small shift = bad
my 80he just came
but most of all US > other layouts for what i do. my ISO boards use US (slightly cursed) keycaps
yes my enter is large
yes i am compensating for something
what are you gonna do about it
is it a limitation of the pcb itself, or the silicone pad/pc switch plate
My viewpoint is purely based on real statistics
I don't need a large shift my hands are working properly thanks
big enter is whatever, small shift is a no no
Both
your real statistics dont account for the good feeling you get when you slam the enter with enough force to shatter a rock
I get an extra key next to my shift instead, what's not to like
small shift
maybe i will mod a wii balance pad to look like an enter key so i can jump on it to press enter
people be like give us split spacebar its so much better reeee but be all smol shift bad herpderp
at least be consistent smh
i want split everything
split space split enter split shift split backspace
stepped caps tho
The trouble with that is... uncommon keycap standard.
a lot of keycap sets come with the keys needed
i think
they all come with keys needed for iso and ansi
point was iso enter and full size shift
most sets also come with multiple shift and delete keys
Not like this they don't. đ
ok what about a layout like this
Great for ANSI users, not great for ISO users now one key fewer.
wooting arrived im so happy with my purchase L60 switches aint that bad with actuation settings too lazy to change the L45 switches also waiting for the owlab ti ones
đ easily best keyboard ever
Congrats! If you havent already ordered the TI's you could also wait for the Lekker Tikkens which are even better IMO
Is there any review on the Tikkens or you tried them? or how do you know? đ¤
^ genuine question, I am curious đ The ones I saw don't go very deep into them.
Bit early to expect reviews, given they're coming out in Q4.
No reviews as they are not out yet but I believe he has tried them
Iv got some owl labs on the
Yeah I figured, but since he said they are better than owlab ti I would like to know better at what exactly and if there is something Iâm missing
To me they sound better (little deeper sounding than the TI's) and I greatly prefer the full travel vs the shorter travel. Both of those are subjective of course. If RGB is important to you then the Tikken's will not tint the RGB color like the TI's do.
Any reveiws on these Tikkens ones??
look a few messages up
If I want to set rapid trigger only for the upstroke, what is the best way?
If I have a 1mm actuation and then put 0.25mm release/upstroke and 1mm press/downstroke, will that work? and is it likely to cause any weird issues?
Is this everything I need to build the keyboard?
Yes looking good
why wont my keyboard connect to my pc
did u plug it in?
Does anyone knows perhaps a quality KVM that can do 8k polling rate and tachyon for the 80HE?
Zinc 80he board arrived owlab switches installed hopefully be nice!!
Yeah I know about this one... putting one in europe is gonna cost me an arm, a leg and probably my first 6 kids.
Do you REALLY need a KVM for your gaming keyboard though?
yup... I dont only use the keyboard to game, I also use it for work since the typing experience is so much better
Unfortunately my current apartment is not big enough to have a separate office, so I work and game in the same desk sadly
I have a cheap one from ugreen and havenât had an issue.
UgreenUSB 3.0 Switch 2-to-4 is an excellent choice to share 4 USB devices between 2 systems. It's ideal for sharing a printer or scanner in a small office environment. It's also great for use at home if you have multiple PCs or Macs.Universal USB 3.0 DeviceThis USB Switch would Works with all USB 3.0 devices, such as e
I have been using it for a month and swap 30+ times a day between work/personal computer and haven had an issue. I use a tachyon 100% brightness mode when Iâm on my personal computer gaming
I have a DAC, mouse, keyboard and camera connected there
Oh the only issue I sometimes have is that when I boot my desktop the keyboard doesnât turn on on boot, so I have to switch to work pc and back (press the switch twice). But it happens like 20% of the time, so itâs just a minor inconvenience.
Never happened to me when booting from my Mac I use for work.
Probably because of some power saving setting in OS or Bios
It never happened with my previous keyboard, I had this switch for like 2 years i have even the setting that makes my pc still provide power when itâs off, forgot the name
But again, itâs like one every 5 boots and I only boot my pc once a day so itâs not really a big deal
Once the pc is on the switching always works.
I wanted to customize my 80he, any recommendation for keycaps and cases?
I would recommend putting poly fill in this one
As for keycaps, i am a big fan of GMK caps, just depends if you are ready to pay the price that comes with it
Otherwise osume or kkb are probably fine as well and they might have some designs that you dont get with GMK
^
Make sure the vendor you use for GMK is legit, this list should be fine for seeing who wont sell you fakes: https://www.alexotos.com/keyboard-vendor-list/
I think gmk also have their own shop now
They do but if you just tell people they will somehow still find a way to get on the fake sites
i like their shashin keycaps set
Also the gmk store has very little selection
true
Yeah
Oblotzky industries have a lot of selection
But they are located in EU so may not be ideal if you are in the US for example
I'm in italy so im fine w it
still cry at the amount of choice you have if you use ansi US compared to iso fr
I use ISO DE but you have it even worse over there
sorry if this is a faq but i just wanted to ask really quick. I have a wooting 80HE in the PCR plastic case and I want the zinc alloy version now. Am i able to just take all the previous switches and plate from the plastic version and put it onto the zinc alloy version if i just buy the zinc alloy case only? If so would it function just like a prebuilt zinc alloy 80HE if i do all the steps correctly?
Yeah its just a simple case swap
just built a wooting with gateron jade pros, I have a pom plate and some extra foam. Is it normal to have varying actuation point levels (some key's go to 4.0, some to ~3.5, some to < 3.0)
if it's not normal is the issue in the foam/pcb or in the software
ok thanks!
KEMOVE P10 2-in-1 switch puller is any good?
Switch puller side is good
my wooting switch puller is broke đ
plastic never good
I changed like 30+ switch
If you're changing all of your switches, it's a LOT faster and easier to push them out from the behind.
The puller is more for individual switch replacements in case of an issue.
I've pulled out like 3 sets of switches with the kemove so far
Just make sure to not pull at an angle with it so you don't bend it
thanks for the info, never known you can push it from behind
I managed to change my hole board yesterday with the wooting provided one XD
nice đ
Hey guys, had a general question about my 80HE, I noticed that while the profiles are saved as intended, it seems that if I set it to for example, profile 2, then restart my computer, it doesn't seem to remember that it was on profile 2 and instead reverts to profile 1, while I can manually swap to profile 2 again (and the board seems to remember it), it seems that the board only remembers the profiles but not the current profile after a reboot. Is this intended?
Intended as a safety measure, so you don't accidentally power off while in an analog controller only profile.
Keyboard always powers on into the first profile.
gotcha, ty! I thought I was going crazy because sometimes I set my computer to hibernate and other times a full shut down. the current profile seems to persist across hibernate modes but not shut down.
well... now that all of them can be controller only its not really that anymore but a left over from when profile 1 couldnt be an analog controller
hibernate is not good always fully off
Sure - But I'd argue that most people still have the most "Normal" profile on slot one statistically đ
While I understand the argument for and against hibernate states, I have a few peripherals that require to be replugged to respond after a system reboot but have their states persist and save after hibernation.
hmm what stuff is that?
or you can also try saying what your problem is
instead of telling us that you have a problem without elaborating
ya my bad, so i turned on my pc and the wooting wont turn on, ive tried unplugging it, ive also done the steps to restore with no luck, i also made a post in community support and I am waiting for a response
Did u try to disassemble and unplug the cable inside?

Quick question. Is there a way to turn the RGB off or is it just turning the brightness down to 0? I would like to be able to still see if my caps lock is on and turning brightness down to 0 does not allow that to happen. Just want to know if there is another way of turning RGB off without affecting caps lock. Thanks
Just select color black for everything else
Never thought about that. That might work. Thanks.
They're very cool (looking and pressing) (I bought the entire sakura gt60 pro and it is awesome)

Hey quick question hopefully simple answer, on the terms of key caps I want themed key caps preferably anime related. Good quality and not hype price love the key caps on my new 80HE but want something to make it a bit more of a personal keyboard.
You can scroll down and select your region, what you are looking for and these are trusted sites
Thatâs awesome of you thank you, simple and fast. Anything you personally recommend or just kinda window shop and see what speaks to me?
USA of course, sorry forgot to mention that detail.
I'm from UK so I haven't used any of the US sites
Reasonable well nonetheless thank you so much
Yea let me know if you find anything, for sure always good to check out go beyond your horizon a little.
anyone here with a sideprinted keycaps? does it light the keycap well with wooting 80he?
Wouldn't say well cause ultimately the print is on the south end of the keycap, and we use north aligned LEDs.
Hey Team, Just a quick question. My Wooting 80HE was delivered back in december but I was inspecting my keyboard today (Which looks immaculate) until this day but noticed that the paint on the Black Alloy ZINC has started to flake up. Has there been any reported issues and should i reach out to support?
