Yes - There are a few folks with ghosting issues. Which is something that seems to be related to adjustments to sensor reading. Every firmware update has resolved some of these issues.

I don’t know if this is a chronic problem but lately. My keyboard has been having issues on delay typing, it causes windows to make a weird noise every time I press a key

I wouldn’t say it’s overloaded. I run a webcam, and an usb to c to charge my mic into my pc. A work doc for my mouse and keyboard. I play a bunch of rhythm games n after prob 30 mins of gameplay input delay happens

A gaming keyboard such as ours is on the highest end of what USB can handle in terms of bandwidth and power for USB 2.0.

If you're plugging in more than one such device into a dock that only has a 2.0 connection to the PC, that's going to cause issues.

If the dock isn't wall powered, then you MAY have issues, depending on how power it can draw from the PC.

And then there's all the fun times with hubs not properly following USB specifications when forwarding peripherals.

Removing the Diffuser from the LED bar shouldn't cause any issues right?

I swapped from a PCR to a zinc case and took out the silicone diffuser from the LED bar

it looks a little odd in an image but IRL it looks great since I'm not using any lighting on the rest of the board

not very knowledgible on the topics of how LED lights interact or work I'd just assume a component has some kin of purpose

the bleed is obviously the thing its supposed to prevent so you can actually tell which led lights are on for settings like profile

in my case I only really use the LED bar for an idle rainbow wave effect and a keypress distance indicator

so the lights bleeding in and mixing in with eachother is kinda cool

removing the diffuser also made them a bit brighter which gives the rainbow RGB a nicer hue overall methinks

I had to use metal switch puller because the ones wooting gave is not sufficient for the job.

But their weakness is PC keycaps, there is 10 -25% chance you can pull out the switch with the keycap with no lasting damage

While the puller could definitely be stronger (different material that is), and the Lekker V2 switches ARE tight to pull out, I've pulled three, 80HE boards clean with a single puller without any breaks.

How do you turn on the shortcut key highlights that happen when the Fn key is held down?

My 80HE used to do that as soon as I unboxed it but as soon as I changed some RGB effects from Wootility, this beahvior is now gone.

Not sure what setting I need to turn on for this.

The issue is that nothing I change on the RGB page is affecting the settings at all.

Even the RGB effects are not updatin when I chose a different preset.

Only RGB brightness is changing the brightness of the keys.

Anything else RGB related is not being pushed to the keyboard at all.

I've seen it mentioned a few times here and besides the solution of get a new case, i haven't really seen another solution (likely missed it) but I'm on my 2nd Wooting 80he black zinc alloy case & both times it chipped near the thumb rest area under the space bar, not on the edge. support offered a replacement again but if i go through with another replacement is there something i can do to it to prevent it? a clear coating or something for gods sake?

Probably you have a quite acidic sweat... I would say send a ticket to wooting, perhaps they have a batch that went wrong...
Black zinc is anodized... basically the particles adhere to the metal on an almost permanent process... chipping, flaking, etc is quite rare.

You could always apply a clear UV coat for example like some people do with Cars

I think the reset above is only deleting custom profiles and reinstalling the default ones. The bottom one definetly could fail, because it really overwrites (flashes) firmware

Whats the difference between the Actuation point and the Key press/release sensitivity for rapid trigger?

p/sure rapid trigger simply put is like as if the entire key-press was the actuation point, based on intentional key-press or not

So like, it'll activate I believe at the point of release

and if you press again even if not fully released

it'll activate your key-press again

so you don't have to hit the actuation point again and again to press

basically flexible actuation point

someone correct me if I am wrong

Looks like the keyboard is working as it can be placed into "Wooting Restore" from the blue LEDs on the top right/bottom,

but the keyboard is not detected by the system.

This could indicate that the USB port, the cable, or the keyboard port is broken, or more likely that the internal JST cable has come loose, causing only power/ground to be connected but not the pins that carry data, so the device is not detected.

If swapping the port/cable doesn't resolve the problem, you can attempt to take apart the keyboard and push in these two JST connectors to see if this helps.
