However, that's not really relevant with a typical warehouse. But even in a worst case scenario, a "measurable" impact isn't the same as a "meaningful" impact.

I'm no expert in magnetism, but I do know that the strength of our switches is not necessarily the same as the strength of other switches, and our keyboard's firmware can (mostly) handle big differences just fine by way of calibration

Bought a 3 meter. Have done couple of firmware upgrade with it. No issue so far. Can use tachyon mode with it. Although it is certified PD cable. It is a USB 2.0 data transfer cable. PD cable usually has a good insulation to avoid signal interference.

Can try it out. I can't guarantee it will work with you coz motherboard USB ports may play a role here.

Worth noting that some ports might be fused toghether with another port which means if both are occupied each device will get only half the max power otherwise available. Had that issue in my company that i work for where my veeeery old PC had 2 ports out of 3 total fused and when i connected 2 professional electricity meters to those 2 fused they started malfuctioning cause they eat a lot of power each

hey, i'm having trouble typing a character, for some reason when I click the "^" key on my keyboard it gets typed out as "^^". What can I do about this? I unpluged and pluged my keyboard, made a new typing profile, and I still have the same problem. (it happens on all my profile)

If you haven’t had prior experience with linear switches it might cause it to type 2 letters instead of one, one way to fix it is by going into your windows keyboard settings and lower the repeat delay and repeat rate but i might be wrong who knows.

So disappointing for a $300 keyboard that has videos of the sound on it's product page.

I'm being told in the feedback channel that I need to fix this by removing stuff and lubing and now I gotta go buy key switch lube.

But support says it takes two weeks for a reply, so who the fuck knows what lube, because it's not in their FAQ.

So, my experience has been suboptimal if I want be kind, or a bunch of dickheads who lack QC, common sense, or have resources to run a business when I'm aggravated (I am exceedingly aggravated, even my partner is complaint at the noise of my sodding space bar when gaming).

I think this is just a mismatch of expectations, lubing switches this and that yadda yadda its really difficult to make a HE board stand up to a high tier mech typing board when it comes to sound. Relubed or not, they will sound worse. The riser feet look pretty much as advertised imo, but if whoever bought the product thinks otherwise. Their right to think so, their right to return the product.

It is a finished unit, and we delivered what we promised.

Sound is subjective, and the recording of sound depends a huge amount of the environment (desk, deskmat, acoustics), the recording equipment (microphone, background noise), and your perception of that (speakers, how you perceive sounds)

Here's the bottom line: you received your keyboard and it works as expected. If you don't like it, for any reason, whether that's the sound of the keys or the color of the feet, then you can return it within 30 days.

Our support team is happy to assist you in tweaking your keyboard so that it meets your personal opinion on the best possible characteristics. But if you come at us guns blazing, then we're going to fall back on the return policy and choose to spend our time and efforts assisting other customers.

It‘s just screwed in and there is another brass piece that is smaller and doesnt include the hole for strap

But, let's look at why I feel you didn't deliver what you promised in the attached pix. I'm just a consumer with more money than sense, taken in by (totally justifiable) hyperbole, who believes he got a dud. But apparently it's my fault for not knowing how to mod.

Thank you, you're right. But I bought the 80HE because of the sound. It's just the space bar that is so out of whack with all the other keys, it sounds like a Commodore 64. It simply cannot be right. It is pissing everybody in the house off and yeah I'm salty.

I came in "guns blazing" because in the support channel I was told it was my fault for not knowing how to lube, that I'm expected to buy additional key caps etc.

But you can see from the images of the product description, it's clearly selling itself as a solution to the sound issue. Exactly what I was hoping for!

We also appreciate the feedback, of course we are always looking to improve our keyboards.

The sound clip was of course accurate, in my opinion. I mean it's a real recording of an unmodified 80HE PCR. The spacebar will sound louder if you hit it hard and in isolation, versus pressing it normally in a typing test demo. Mine sounds comparable to the demo sound clip on our website if i'm typing. If just sit here pressing the spacebar, it becomes loud like your video.
