Ive seen geon raws recommended probably the most on yt and here out of all switches, hopefully they are true to the hype. 60 lekkers being too heavy is just my preference i guess cuz i liked them beside that, they felt super smooth which is huge plus for me cuz i dont wanna lube switches myself

Yeah I play a lot of fps and I would get finger fatigue from the lekker 60s, the 45s were too sensitive

I was using the Geon Raptors on my 60he and 60+

I should note I skipped the Gateron Jade Max saga

I tried the Jade Maxs and they were utterly terrible, they have a QC material issue that cannot be fixed

To Gaterons credit, they refunded me but I didnt want to get burned again so I went back to Geon but the Raws this time

They did not disappoint

I would say personally for me that the 80he and the Geon Raw 50g is the perfect combination without going into modding switches

and the shorter travel distance of 3.4 is fantastic for response time if you bottom out switches while gaming

It's def more responsive and I can tell my other one lags when compared.

However, the build quality is absolute dog poo.

I have gotten mcdonalds toys that were of higher quality when compared to the chassis.

I was thinking of gutting the internals of the 80HE, re-lubing the switches, and then putting it inside of a Crush80's case/mods to make it sound better. Would this work? I've never made a "custom" keyboard before so Im just curious. I dont know how interchangeable things are/arent and wouldnt want to get the 80HE and have it be incompatible w/ the other case despite both being 80%. Thanks for any replies
