I see a lot of people getting the lekkers 45s instead of the 60s. Is it a big difference? I am used to the lekker 60 v1 on my wooting 60 and i ordered the 60s v2 for my wooting 80. Maybe i should order a pack of 45s but i dont know. I use the keyboard for gaming only and i dont have an issue with my lekker 60s v1 though.

you shoukd unplug and disassemble as fast as possible

make sure components are dried off and dont look damaged at all

especially the connector

do a bit of a wipedown with isopropyl alcohol and dont use water even when unplugged

i woukd say wait a few hours with occasional wipedowns

warm water for the PC plate, keycaps, and switches should be ok, make sure they are 100% dry

0.2mm is the margin of error for the bottom-out. You can still have 0.1mm activation with the Jade Pro switches.

I got some 99% IPA in the end so all's good. And can confirm nothing gets rubbed off/melts under it.

I wouldn't use hand sanitizer personally because depending on the brand they might add some thickening agents which could gunk up the PCB. It's also probably closer to 70% EtOH which I don't think is pure enough to prevent water damage.

Is it normal to be able to scratch off the top paint layer of the zinc case (black) with just your fingernail? The spot next to spacebar on the frame where my thumb rests a lot is peeling away, at first I wondered what it could be since I don't keep any sharp objects near the PC desk nor eat here or anything

It should be able to handle that just fine, but idk I don’t see processor spikes because mine is always at 100% utilization, it’s always in power state 0 to avoid clock stretching. I don’t worry about processor spikes because my system can handle the event of a spike spanned over the time period of well constantly.

for the cases you use a usb-c to usb-c cable the keyboard will just pulldown the CC channel and set the host to sent 5V and 500mA. there is no active PD controller in our devices just what USB-C to USB-A cables do as well

It's a basic, electrical adaptor. It doesn't do any kind of magic conversion.

USB C is a physical port standard, not a measurement of data speed or anything like that. The protocol is handshaked between the two devices.

The only real difference is that SOME Motherboards add a bit more juice to their USB-C ports. So in rare cases, if you have issues with connection, trying the USB C port might help.

Lolz, 0.1mm is super sensitive, every tiny jitter you make the keyboard will detect that.

in the light indicator effects studio there are options to define conditions for the lightbar which can be tied to a timing integer, like a progress bar with the cooldown duration that have potential to work - the issue is i can't activate the bar with an individual keystroke, rather a key state like 'any keypress'
