I don't have stains, but just received a raw zinc board with what appears to be bubbles, scuffs, or other issues with the sealant application all over the front side (and back) of the chassis. It kinda looks like someone was eating a greasy burger then started handling the chassis before the sealant fully dried.. lol sadge

If ups haven't scanned the package yet (Hence there not being any updates) ups support wont see anything different from what your seeing, which is why they are saying it hasn't left the fulfilment centre. Search ups in the search bar of the discord server and you will see large portion of people have talked about this issue already.

When couriers choose not to scan in everything they pickup right away, that's not something we can affect. They pick up large pallets at a time, and don't scan in each individual package into their system, till it's inbound at a sorting center.

Yeah. I had 2 tools before a wire keycap puller Wich wasn’t bad and a terrible
Switch puller . The new 2 in one tool that wooting made is pretty good at doing both task. Keycap pulling is way faster and to use than a wired keycap puller and the switch puller u can see it clearly gripping the switch better imo

A tning to improve in the future. My 80HE is superb when typing I like it a lot, but there is one criticism in the issue that the space bar gets stuck for a little when pressed continuously, like while gaming and returns to up position with a delay, not like the normal keys. If I swap the lekker 60 with the included Lekker 40 will improve/fix this issue?

Sounds like your stabilizers are getting stuck slightly. Probably more helpful to remove the little damper pads below the stabilizers.

I don’t think it’s that, unfortunately I believe what he said is his genuine opinion, he’s just too much of a sound obsessed keyboard snob to appreciate what the wooting keyboards offer. the offerings from these keyboards kind of just fly over his head / don’t apply to his specific use case. In other words they don’t make a difference to him and the trade off of a Hall Effect switch isn’t worth it to him but to downplay the benefits and overstate how many games are banning these features is a downright lack of transparency and a blind view on the current state of the keyboard market at least in terms of competitive gaming or even gaming in general. I think the difference in sound / feel between an HE switch and a non HE switch is probably negligible to the vast vast majority of people and especially gamers.

I think it’s honestly just so bad not even an Asus shill like him could defend it. you can’t even remove their software entirely without manually deleting it from like 8 different places and even having to manually remove it from the Windows registry using RegEdit. their software also takes kernel level access to your system (most Linux users would likely understand why to be mad)

I buy their high end motherboards because it’s one of the few quality products they make imo. Even I still refuse to even touch their software. I got the X670E Crosshair Extreme board which was a $1,000 motherboard when it launched (I know this because I bought it at launch and then paid $700 for my 7950X along with it, MSRP for both at the time).

Being able to have a much higher effectiveness at these mechanics is an advantage, it won’t teach you when to use said mechanics, how to position yourself or how to have game sense or how to aim but being able to flawlessly and effortlessly use a mechanic in the way this keyboard allows definitely gives you a leg up. it’s a very niche use case for sure. this is talking specifically about SOCD. The biggest argument against SOCD is the fact that you can accomplish the same thing on any keyboard just using a null script. not having HE switches and rapid trigger may make that less effective though.

I played the entirety of OW1 purely QP, I think I did just enough comp to get about 1,500 comp coins and then I quit because it was too hard for me at the time. but I definitely put a few thousand hours into OW1. Still was trash at that game and OW2 until I started playing comp for real in season 9, I started in bronze 5 and made it to gold 2 within season 9. When they added wide queue I quit and recently came back and still haven’t climbed out of gold.

my biggest complaint about the wrist rest is that it does not attach to the keyboard at all.

i shift my keyboard all around my desk constantly and having to move the keyboard and the wrist rest separately sounds like a real pain

that being said, i got the wrist rest anyways
