Should 80HE module arrive with pre-lubed stabilizers? I assembled my 80HE today and these stabilizers are definitely not lubed as they feel horrible

its just down to personal preference. while the 80HE is factually faster, you won't notice it in most cases. if you do the difference is incredibly small that it should not even be a factor. Only get the layout you prefer and whether you want friction fit, gasket mount, or tray mount, etc...

Not really. Keyboard polling is harder to saturate than mouse polling, especially if you’re not using analog key input. If you’re just using digital binary keyboard input then 8000hz is easier to think of as 0.125ms of max latency, opposed to 1ms max latency at 1000hz.

I mean I asked Alder before the 80HE released and he described it as I did earlier. It’s also just how polling rate on keyboards vs mice works and how game incompatibility works.
Your keyboard will only poll if there is information to pull, and no one is doing 1000 actions per second on a keyboard in digital mode.

Just like how if you play a game that doesn’t support 8000hz with a mouse set to 8000hz, you’re not going to immediately run into issues, only when you saturate greater than 1000hz polling.

Also the main game I play explicitly doesn’t support greater than 1000hz polling rate. So if there was an issue I would have anecdotal evidence to identify it.

The issue is the size and shape of the Enter key for ISO.
