1 - If I want to replace the keycaps, what is the "format/layout" or whatever so all the caps are the right size for this board (I particularly am looking at the right shift key)
2 - (Sorry for the wrong terminology here) What "style" of keycap do I need to look out for so that the letters are backlit and not solid. I was eyeing a keycron set match my Q0 NumberPad and want to make sure they (1) fit (hence question 1) and (2) are backlit letters/numbers.

Yes, my right shift is much longer than the long enter key, and longer than the left shift key. but when i look at some keycap sets, both shifts are the smaller size

and the fnction, control and alt keys can vary in size too

The 80HE layout is fairly standard though, so you're likely not going to have too hard a time finding a set that will work with it.

Gotchya. In those 2 examples above (neither i want) the right pink set wouldnt work with the 80HE bc the shift is too small and the alt/control are too small. So I will eyeball. 🙂

I tend to disagree. It might make "a" difference, but not hella. 1000hz is fast enough so that your 400fps csgo can process the last action you actually wanted to do. What makes a hella difference is rapid trigger of a HE switch vs a normal mechanic keyboard

Rapid trigger only lets you release inputs in a faster manner. It doesnt override older inputs. You can still technically have two keys pressed at the same time

it's a known issue with some configs due a usb power thing they're bug fixing still. For now the solution is turn polling to 1k in settings

First thing id check is if the daughter board cable that plus into the module is all the way plugged on

Usually take just off keycaps is best way. Alternative is you could take module out and try to blow air in between, but honestly just take the keycaps off since giving them a quick wash isn’t a bad idea anyway

For the 80HE it is a combination of the tolerances being tighter on the switch plate and the switches themselves.

This is one of the necessary tradeoffs for an improved switch. Nothing cones for free, but there's a delicate balance we're trying to hit long-term.

my 80he also freezes sometimes even using 1k hz. Haven’t exp it enough to have an educated guess what triggers it. Pretty disappointing when you’ve waited 4 months to get it expecting it works
