hey all just ordered 80he, I am currently using logitech g515 and used g915 before, I went with the lekker 45, would that feel somewhat similar to what I am already used to?
also is the wrist rest necessary? with these 2 keyboards I didnt need one but wooting seems higher?

Not sure what logitech uses on those but lekker60 is the most simmilar to the standard red switches

Mechanical switches list actuation force(mid press) while HE list bottom out so that is why when a mechanical switch says 45g it actually isnt equal to the lekker45

I wouldn't consider raws to be a "thocky" sound. They are lower pitched than the jades, but if you prefer lower pitch sounds to higher pitched sounds open bottom switches are your best bet for that

Take the sound tests with a grain of salt. They're not going to sound the exact same to you unless if you have the exact same setup, mic, table, etc. Also the raws and jades have a shorter total travel than the lekkers if that matters to you. Raws are still the best overall, but def not on the low pitch end if that's a dealbreaker for you

I've been liking them so much, they sound so crisp and don't have a super high end clack to them. I'm used to heavier switches, my last board was gateron black ink v2's. I have cerakeys on this board so the heavier switches keep everything stable

Doubleshot has a transparent material to let light through the lettering.
Dye sub(limation) is just what it sounds like. You take bare, opaque white keycaps and push colour into the plastic so it stains permanently.

Dye sub will not have that RGB backlight look.

Yeah, I've been flipping it between 0-100 in wootility, trying to set any of the patterns to see if anything would light up.

I don't know if there's a default lighting there should be on it, but for me nothing has lit on it since I first plugged it in.

yea idk then. I had wootility just completely break where it wasnt recognizing the keyboard after I imported a 60he config. I just cleared cookies and local/session storage.

its just blue and green for that profile

If you want solid color, go into My Profiles, click on three dots, Edit and change background color

then choose profile indicator in light bar settings

Also - I have an OLED monitor which is quite reflective and my old keyboard used to reflect like crazy off of it and this has none what so ever due to case design

unless you go to not get DE legends and you use ANSI layout instead of ISO you will most likely only find simple black ABS keycaps with lasered legends for shinethrough
