hey i have a question. I bought the Wooting Detachable Coiled Cable for the Wooting 80HE. Ever since using it with Tachyon Mode or setting it 1k polling, it either doesn't function when restarting the PC or half the keyboard would be inactive (im assuming it is not delivering power). Is there a compatibility issue or a firmware problem. The stock cable did have this issue but only once, but I would like to use the Coiled cable since I have bought it.

Just received Wooting 80HE. Damaged. The LED under the first key left to number 1, the ~ key, has something broken. Thursday, I think, I've sent this info to customer support, but nothing until now. What do you think, guys? They'll contact me? They'll change my PCB? I'm worry about that.

If the led is broken they’ll replace the pcb most likely. Takes time for customer support to reply but once they reply the process is fairly quick

With replacements it’s quite nice. At least for me in the past they offered to let me keep the item until the replacement came then they covered the shipping to send the broken part back

As long as you don’t have any issue with 8k polling rate, you should have it turned on for gaming.

8khz is having issues with some hardware/software configurations a fix is being worked on to address it but in the mean time setting to 1khz as a temporary fix

Depends on the rest of your hardware. As a general rule, higher polling rates are demanding on CPU. That being said, if you don't have performance issues than switch to 1K, otherwise leave it on 8K

Old Wooting lore. We actually tried to do a group buy for French PBT way back in the day, but we couldn't get enough pre-orders to succeed in the order.

French PBT mass production has been in the works for a year or so. So until you hear an announcement, don't expect a useable timeframe. For now we tend to recommend other brands like Razer who make them - but not everyone like their font choice 😄
