They may need to take other type production work they have scheduled to not delay that. Manufacturers may not work for one company 100% of the time. They can sell production runs or slots of time from the whole year.

I did check my white Zinc thoroughly before putting in the keycaps. I like screws on Zinc case better than "snap on" mount on the plastic case. I understand the costsaving but having 2 different mounting makes it impossible to mix match different materials.

There is a colour circle you can set a colour to, it will set the colour to the little circle colour when active. You've probably set the key normal state and circle to be the same colour
