If you're using an aftermarket cable that isn't yours, you may experience weirdness - if you enable Tachyon mode for 8khz scanning AND set your LEDs to be bright.

Thank you for the info! I will double check later on to see if there is any major stress. The deadener is a soft rubber material so should spread if needed. I left a little extra room on the left side after flattening it out just in case, but I cannot say for sure if this is safe 😅

Yep I did and a layer of tape just incase somehow some way the top shiny layer could conduct static discharge or something along those lines, so the entire back of the PCB is covered so no metal is touching the deadener
