switch selector is coming soon (tm), but at the moment it calibrates the thing at bootup, and when you press keys it re-calibrates them -- so basically you could try whacking the key fully for 10 times or holding it down for a bit and see if it calibrates correctly

when you press off axis the inner half of the stem can rub on the inner patt of the bottom housing which creates friction

it can be very annoying but maybe it gets better after breaking in the switches
