Pros and Maxes have better stem tolerances (less stem woble), longer spring for improved rebound feel and easier switch removal. The Pros sound is closer to the originals and the Maxes depart are a little thockier and lower pitched

I ordered the OGs and ended up cancelling for the newer ones

and the Maxes have the best RGB on the market

the chip thing is covered by warranty if it happens so folks aren't really worried about that, and the 'scratch but not a scratch' thing is fairly common among many white coated cases from many brands since white can't be anodized - so it's mostly a non factor for people who've already had white cases before

There are rare cases but they are not happy with it since they can't be fully sure how and when those have occurred. Sent a message to those that did order white and few folks posted it here yesterday somewhere. Until they can fully test, consider and test other options, they for now halted it. Which is good. Offered return/refund for those that did order, or some store credit if they have it in good condition and are happy and don't want to return it.

So probably won't be available until they are happy with revisioned white case.

One weird note about 80HE. If i try to just set clean white rgb it comes out very pinkish.

Reduce the red value slightly

RGB stands for Red Green Blue
And in your hex values it those are in pars of two #FFFFFF

So reduce the first two FF to lets say EE

i just have a much lower threshold for what i consider dirty. to put it into perspective id ont even want to put it in the travel case because of the tiny black fibres/strings that may get on the keyboard (even though its almost a negligible amount). its annoying to see especially because its white case and keycaps

The keyboard you buy is just the layout, and keycaps. So it won't fit the ISO enter, but otherwise you just need to have correct keycaps and use the windows keyboard layout you want to use.

it's very simple, I've painted all my wooting products so far with this method:

• buy acrylic paint (doesn't smell so much, is not so runny and dries faster)
• wash the part, make sure it's clean and dry
• just paint in light layers until you're happy with the coverage

definitely. my favourite is 30% gloss, sometimes called satin or semi-gloss. lots of spraypaints only come full glossy which is like 70-80%, I think they make it look cheap in the end

oh also little free trick to upgrade how your 80HE looks -- wrap the cable around a bottle or tall glass, fill with boiling water and come back in an hour kinkfree cable without the ugly bends from the time it spent in the package
