L60 is a very standard weight, L45 is if you want switches that are slightly lighter to the touch.

If you play FPS games, you could swap the WASD keys or IJKL to the L45 and swap back and forth every few rounds to get a feel for which are preferable.

You're still relying heavily on the human element, and how the individual pushes down switches.
So we're straight back to "personal" preference.

that's true but i think wooting didn't put the 60in as a dice role ; they mostly prefered ; although i would honestly be curious how a cherry black or similar resistance spring would feel on it ;since you can set the actuationpoint higher they would not hafe their downside and would prevent botteming out on typoing wich can be bad for fingers in the long run

Yes - yes we did pick L60 because it happens to be the most common weight 😄

Flaretech switches were 55g if memory serves. 80 was considered but scrapped towards the end of life.

Spring has to be non ferrous - in fact the very first spring pack we did (or rather its first production run) was accidentally slightly magnetic, which caused a ton of issues. Had to do a total recall.

We also use a wider stem than cherry switches - or Gateron does rather. So you gotta buy compatible springs dimension wise. We sell spring packs, and other manufacturers who do HE also seem to be popping up on Aliexpress and such in various weights.

Your hands should move freely and be elevated above the wrist/palm rest while typing. When resting, the pad should contact the heel or palm of your hand, not your wrist.
