the problem with short-throw switches and regular ol' stabs is that the stabs travel further than the switch, so if you press spacebar on the left side and the keycap is loose, it'll tilt on the stabs

I am unsure if anyone faced the same issue as me, but after cleaning my computer and plugging everything back in, everything was properly responsive except my 80HE. I tried unplugging and plugging it back in, to no effect. It did not type and the leds were off. I watched the reset keyboard video from wooting, and i found out the 80HE uses backspace and the function key to reset, not the right most keys apparently.

My issue seems to be fixed (ill restart to make sure this was only a one time thing) but does anyone perhaps have a clue as to why this happened?

After a while it feezes on input, heres me trying to type console command and it just freezes (forgive the cables, temporary setup as im moving things around). Im connected through usb-c and using cd726652052b0f260b5682302f08298a3af1 profile with lowered actuation and rapid trigger. Updated firmware, using the v5.wootility and braided premium cable from wooting.

Your best bet is to place an order for a zinc case and have them cancel your plastic case order. The new zinc orders are still part of NA-Bridge, so no delays as of right now

Then it's likely a power issue. The USB port may not be providing enough power. Potentially due to other devices plugged in, or just lower power handling for that USB bus. There is a chart somewhere that shows the power requirements but tachyon with RGB eats it up.
