It’s a little bit of a hit or miss with the tolerances of the hook and assembly. I have models without it and a model with it. Since that area is easier to move and has those hooks, it’s easier to happens.

It’s nothing to worry about but to remove it, can try to take apart and put it back together again.

If you’re a real pro, put some lube where the plastic to and bottom meets each other and the hooks.

Sooo I just rapidly changed a lot of RGB colors on my 80he and the keyboard suddenly lit up in a corrupted color and stopped working. it also made my mouse non-functional (hides the cursor). restarted PC, problem persists. can't use the keyboard and can't use my mouse while plugged in same slot.

plugging the keyboard in another usb slot makes it work again (installs it as a new device in windows i suppose or whatever...) Now I cant find a way to make the keyboard work again when using it in that USB slot. Just downloaded "ghostbuster" to make windows forget about all keyboards but that didnt work either. so that's concerning 👀. No idea if i can report that issue somewhere else or what to even report exactly

some talks about why they didnt air freight to US being expensive and a bad experience for them. the dust cover is for keeping everything stationary in the box for assembled boards not really a dust cover. below .1mm actuation is unreliale and requires too much upkeep. more functionality for the light bar coming soon, and allowing other indication methods soon. white paint on cases is just going to get dirty and theyre pausing deliveries on white cases to try and assess if its more than just a white paint issue. working on friction mounting for the boards to make it more customizable. looking into split spacebar in the future. PET film on the back of the PCB is esentially tape mod and affects quality of sound but might not affect the spectrum of thock-marbley sound. they think Hipyo is entertaining, but doesnt quite understand mechanics of HE/analog a ton and is too critical of Wooting for price point without considering software quality but his criticisms are generally correct but pretty harsh still. the gaskets are not bouncy but they isolate the PCB well and create a softer feel still and improve sound quality while maintaining stability. sometime next week will be communication about white zinc rubbing issue.

No matter how spill proof anything is, you always unplug and go from there.

If you spill anything on your keyboard, you take it apart to ensure all internal parts are clean and dry. Before you plug it back in.

Not sure what you mean by that, but you can connect 3rd party devices to Razer Chroma via Razer Connect. From what I've seen online the 60HE does that, if someone wants to. I'd like to have the same with the 80HE, since the game integrations available on Razer Chroma is pretty cool.

So the razer layer would communicate to the wooting desktop app which colors the keys should have i guess and the 60he translates it to actually do it.

@lapis dawn use 210 for the red value...seems to be the closest you can get not sure. But remember, it's rgb and you can't create pure white with red, green and blue leds. That's just what physics is doing.

This slight white thing is the only "problem" I can see, but it's super minor and a basic thing that happens on all products with LED, because of the way they work. But if you're not that happy you can always return it as per the return policy:

WORLDWIDE: There is a no questions asked 30-day return policy from the date you’ve received the keyboard with the condition that it’s in its original packaging and in good condition. The cost of the return shipment is not covered (unless you're shipping from the Netherlands).

However I recommend telling the team about your problems first, because it might be fixable or a great learning opportunity for the team. They're trying their hardest and care about you, trust me.

1. Probably just a paint issue, that's normal if you're using special paint that's needed for zinc alloy
2. Seems to be the case for just one out of many keyboards and might just be dust, not happening for you, no?
3. What's the rapid trigger thing about? I have no issues with it 🤔
4. The case materials are as good as it can get...not sure if you can go wrong with using plastic for the plastic case and zinc alloy for the zinc alloy case 😅

Oh dear. Have you tried doing a full reset of the board the hard way?

Open up Wootility V5, click the help tab and pick your board and layout. It'll tell you to unplug the keyboard and hold two keys while plugging it back in.
