Definitely not true. Customers expect to receive a working product in pristine condition and we absolutely recognize that. Any warranty related issues at the time of receiving it (within 30 days) are aggressively resolved as soon as possible with the easiest and best solution for the individual customer - often this defaults to a replacement unit.

After the first 30 days, we prefer to resolve warranty issues by way of sending replacement parts instead of units, but there are exceptions to this also

The reason we went with Zinc instead of Alu for the 80HE is simple. It is a more complex shape than our Tray based 60HE Alumaze.

Complexity means higher price and time to complete (per case). Doing something like the 80HE Case in CNC'ed Alu would be much, much more expensive and would mean we wouldn't have as many cases ready in the same time - when compared to casting the cases and then polishing them out.
